DOUGLAS RIn order to provide an accurate estimate of any pump brought into our shop, we must first tear the pump down to determine the cause of the failure. It should have been explained to you that this is our procedure and that there is no cost for this exam. If you decide not to proceed with repairs we will gladly return your item to you at no cost; however, if you need the pump put back together (for core purposes) there is a small fee for this. The pump will not be in working order and it is very possible that seals may be missing if they suffered from deterioration. We are very sorry for any misunderstanding as we strive for excellent customer satisfaction.

Got a quote of $500 to repair pump, after they looked at they wanted $1300, I said no & picked up the pump, cost $113 for looking at it.. Now I see some of the seals are missing.. Do not use them, just shysters !!
