I had a real easy experience going to the La-Z-Boy store in Strongsville Ohio. I was approached by a sales person named Mary who was knowledgeable in the products and left me alone to do my own research and then answered all my questions in a professional manner. I told her to work up one estimate and told her I would think about it, but when I got home I called and I asked her to change the order to a leather recliner the same one that was displayed on the floor. I didn’t have to go back to the store to purchase the recliner, I signed all the paper work online and paid for it over the phone. It was a pleasurable no-pressure shopping experience.

Jenny was as friendly, helpful, and knowledgable as can be. The showroom is a pleasure to shop in - it is well lit and items are thoughtfully and logically displayed. We were able to narrow our sofa and ottoman selections down quickly with her help, and proceeded to make the purchase. A stellar shopping experience!

We have purchased furniture at La-Z-Boy 3 times over the years and have never been disapointed with the selections of styles or fabrics. We spent a lot of time deciding which choices to use and were never felt to be taking up too much time nor our decisions not important to us. Our sales rep who worked with us was fun to talk with and helpful in showing us what our choices would look like on the pieces of furniture we liked. It was a pleasure to shop there.

After visiting many furniture stores, my friend and I went to La-Z-Boy in Strongsville, OH. We were met by a very friendly saleswoman named Jenny. She was very helpful without putting any sales pressure on us whatsoever. She let us browse and checked in on us just in time for us to need her assistance. We were discussing design options and what would best suit the room when she told us about their decorator. She then asked the decorator to come out and speak with us, which proved very beneficial in making the final decision as to which pieces would work best together. I would strongly recommend working with Jenny and Mary as they were a phenomenal team and we left with a very positive experience.

I was very impressed by the knowledge of the salesman and very impressed by the quality of your Power Lift Chair. Though I imediately bought a chair, I was very important that delivery for my first choice of a chair was 7 to 11 months. Unbelievable! My second choice had a delivery date of 3 to 4 months. Not quite as unbelievable but still disappointing. I even tried to buy the chair off the floor to no avail.

Good selection of family room furniture. The unfortunate thing is that all pieces are on a 4-7 month lead time. This seems awful long for furniture that is made in the USA.

Chair arrived with back bottom cover half off and hanging needing repair. Couches and chair were not in plastic or boxes. Back of love seat had the back panel bent. Was told they would call on the way they did not. Was told they would move old furniture to the room next to the one it was in was told they don’t do that after debate they did. Called to put work order in to repair backs of furniture was told up to 3 weeks. Furniture is pretty and comfortable however very upset it showed up unwrapped and needing repairing since we waited months

Mary answers all questions we had. She narrowed down the Recliners that would match our needs. She patiently went back and forth with us trying the various Recliners. The non pressure approach of the store is great we were given time to just look around the show room but when we had a question Michelle was there to the rescue. Quite possibly the most comfortable furniture I have ever sat in. Little more expensive than some of the bargin brands out there but the quality and comfort is more than worth it. The sales staff was very helpful and not pushy and goes over every detail to customize your furniture how you want including a 3d layout of your room. Highly recommend checking them out in person. Had multiple attempts to schedule delivery of an item that was purchased after prolonged waiting period and each time the delivery date was canceled because the actual item was not available for delivery because the company Was unaware where and if they said item was in the warehouse and available for delivery this happened four times resulting in the item having to be re-ordered because they could not find it in the warehouse

My wife and I went to Lazyboy in Strongsville Ohio on Monday July 5th 2021 and were looking at reclining sofas. The saleslady Lori McCarthy was helping us was very informative about the products that they have. She was also very friendly and treated us as you would family or friends. We did end up purchasing the sofa and are very happy that we went to Lazyboy.

We received an email about the La-Z-Boy VIP sale and made an appointment as we were in the market for a new chair and coffee table. We were greeted by Lori McCarthy at the Strongsville, Ohio store and she was extremely gracious, friendly and kind to us. We explained what we were looking for and that we had a budget. She took us around and showed us different styles and designs, fully aware that our needs were anything we purchased had to fit my rather tall and large husband, not making my 13 year old groan at her parents’ ‘old people aesthetic,’ I had to like the items, and we had to stick to our budget. Lori took us straight to the perfect chair and coffee table. The items were on sale and met our budget. Even better, she applied the VIP sale incentive and we came in under budget.We are beyond pleased with anything we’ve ever purchased from the Strongsville La-Z-Boy, and now we thrilled that we have a favorite sales person there. We’ll be reaching out to Lori in the future as we plan to tackle the dining room and kitchen next.

The employees were very courteous. Informative and friendly. They were able to price match exact same sectional we saw at another store. Only downsize is that it is a custom piece and we have to wait 4-6 months.

We appreciated the fact that the saleswoman introduced herself to us when we entered the store, asked if we needed help and then allowed us to browse alone. She checked with us once to see if we had any questions and then allowed us to browse alone again. We did find some furniture we were interested in and easy found our saleswomen. She was very helpful, priced everything for us and was upfront about delays in being able to deliver some pieces. She carefully rechecked everything and took the time to review warranties, care information and other details. There were no high pressure tactics! Our saleswoman was knowledgable and professional. We enjoyed the experience and look forward to enjoying our new fur nature!

We stopped in just to look around at the selection of gliders for our nursery and were assisted by Summer, who not only answered all of our many questions and put together about 12 different options with pricing, but did so in a relaxed, friendly way. We felt absolutely no pressure to leave with anything. She was so accommodating and made sure we found something we really wanted and had all the information we needed before we left. She even threw together yet another custom option and sent pics of fabric swatches, just to make sure the order was perfect, when we called back the next day and had changed our minds on color. I can definitely see us going back for other pieces of furniture in the future.

She took me to several sofas that fit my needs and it turned out I bought the first one I looked at after considering four. The best thing ever about her is there was no pressure whatsoever. Since I am disabled and it is difficult for me to get out this was much appreciated! When I arrived at the store she was very helpful and I bought my perfect chair. She also followed guidelines in sanitizing the pen and credit card I used.. which in these days of the pandemic was very appreciated! Great displays and great saleswoman!

Ordered couches in September, still waiting for them, delivery date got pushed back 3 times. If we ever get them delivered and my wife and I are satisfied with the product maybe I will change the review... Greatful that we have some handme down couches in the mean time, because we would still be couchless in our new house waiting for these couches..

Over the years Ive found shopping for furniture is a hit-or-miss affair when it comes the sales people. Has to be a challenging job and often it just seems the person is not up to those challenges. It takes a combination off skills to do it well.Yesterday I visited the La-Z-Boy store nearby and was assisted by Mary. Mary is a young woman who had been (I learned later) with the store only since the beginning of this year. What she lacked in experience she deftly made up with her attitude: positive, professional, and as helpful as can be. I told her what I was looking for and she was able to zero on on the prime targets quickly, explaining why as we went along. As I wasnt ready to buy during my visit, Mary made sure to document everything and send me home with enough information to continue the decision-making process there.Later that day via telephone I got to meet Marys boss, Jessica. She was a total pro and exceptionally helpful--like Mary. We ended up going back and forth on a couple of issues (how she put up with me, Im not entirely sure) and there was one issue with the stores policy I was struggling to accept and all the while she calmly and patiently explained why it was the way it was. She did her utmost to accommodate me and put together something that would work for both of us.After a couple of additional calls we worked something out. We managed to do that and I was very pleased. Wouldnt have happened without her, either.So, bottom line, Id go back there and work with either lady again in a nanosecond, and I suggest you give them a try. Lifes WAY too short for bad (or even mediocre) sales people. They were great. The items were great, and all worked out exceptionally well.

Buying process was time consuming and was filling out paperwork. They wanted $100 to deliver one chair 5 miles. They said all deliveries had to go to Columbus from Cleveland and then back thus the cost. What? So to take the chair home with me they had no one who could help me load it into my SUV, I’m 72 years old. So I have to get a friend with a truck to help me. Since it snowed and the roads were sloppy I asked if they had a box or plastic to wrap it up.....No! I have to wait a week for the roads to clear up!

I was very pleased with the personal customer service I received! I am very happy with my sofa and cannot wait to get it!

When we needed to replace our Lazyboy recliner sofa, we returned to the Strongsville Store. We were met at the front of the store by Michelle, who listened to what we wanted and showed us what was available. We sat on a number of sofas until we found what we wanted. Michelle was patient, personable, and professional. She made it a smooth and almost fun transaction. Should we need more furniture, we will return to Lazyboy.
