Parts department did not do their job and manager tried to blame me that I did not advise him it was a fleet card. Was there over a week in advance and tried to explain to them what was going on but was rushed out and said they would take care of it but thankfully I called them since they did not call to inform me of anything. Terrible sevice. Very disappointed. Taking it to a real service department

Ordered a 2017 Ford Expedition on line in 3/2020. Description was accurate and they offered to deliver the vehicle to me out of state. First time ever making such a purchase and would do it again. It turned out to be much easier than running around kicking tires. Added Benefit also being I could find the rare colors I was looking for.

NOT GOOD! My wife got her car cleaned after a repair and when it was pulled out there seems to be smears all over the window! She almost crashed on the way home!!! I think it might be some tires shine, will not be buying anymore cars here if they do this again! Billy Walsh here I come

I worked with salesperson Nick and finalized the purchase of a 2017 Ford Fusion. My car buying experience was no hassle, no gimmick, and no shenanigans which is the type of service you should get when buying a vehicle. I was handled with respect and consideration for my time. When it’s time for a new car. Please go see Salesman Don Drysdale. I had the best car buying experience with him. He drove 120 miles round trip from Streator to Bloomington to pick up my vehicle and get a minor repair done. I wanted to support my home town economy by making my purchase in Streator. Thanks to Don. It’s been the best decision I ever made.

Horrible dealership. Drove 4 hours to look at the cleanest used truck theyve ever seen. Showed up in the lot, every fender was dented or scratched. Total waste of my time and was completely avoidable. I had a cashiers check in hand ready to buy. I ended up staying on the lot for ten minutes and drove back 4 hours.I guess the sales representative, Nick, was suffering from Macular Degeneration or didnt really give a damn about my experience.

We live an hour away from Streator and Starford had the car ready for us to look at and the process was simple and quick. Everyone there was very friendly and they didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t want which is nice. I would definitely go back and buy a car from them!

Buyers beware! Shady salesmen! Bought a car that had way to many problems that they didnt tell us about. First time getting gas the car wouldnt start unless you floored it, leaky valve cover, tire had a wobble at highway speeds, both turn signal light broke off, cassette tape didnt work, many more small problems but the car was is great condition when we bought nothing wrong with it. All I have to say is watch out.

BUYER BEWAREWe purchased a used 2007 Nissan Murano in April 2018 from Star Ford in Streator, IL. The car they sold us was unsafe to drive on the road. After we purchased the car we took it to a tire shop for a 4 wheel alignment. The shop called me and told me they could not align the back tires because the K-Frame was totally rusted out. The mechanic told me the frame was so rusted out that driving this vehicle was dangerous and the rear end tires could fall off. The only option was to have our mechanic purchase a new K-Frame from Nissan and replace the old one. After it was repaired I called Star Ford and spoke to Nick Benson the general manager. He said they would not pay for any of the repairs because it was purchased “As Is”. I set up a meeting with the owner John Centoni to explain our concerns about the car. I brought the rusted K-Frame assembly for him to see and he stated “it was not necessary”. After insisting he finally did look at it. While we were discussing the problem he said that he could not pay for the repair. I suggested he pays for the parts and I would pay for the labor, again he said “I can’t do that”. I asked him if they inspect used cars before they sell them and he said, ”yes” and that his mechanic must have missed that. If the car was on a lift and inspected properly, it would be impossible to miss the rusted out K-Frame assembly. For Star Ford to sell a vehicle that is not safe is inexcusable and indefensible. If not for the technician at the tire shop this could have ended with an accident or even a possible death. The car should never have been sold to the general public. John stood there, listened, but did not respond to me.After 42 years in the service business I have learned that every successful business in the United States emphasizes two things, “Safety Is Job One” and “Customer Satisfaction”. Clearly, Star Ford does not believe in either.Your review to my post needs some corrections. The discount you gave us was for the shaking of the steering wheel assembly when we applied the brakes at a higher rate of speed. Your salesman was in the car when this happened. We did not drive this car for a month. Week 1: We bought the car, and had the steering mechanism fixed and then found out about the K-Frame problem from the tire shop that does wheel alignments. We parked the car in our garage for 2 weeks while we were out of town. Week 4: We had the rear K-Frame replaced, the 4 wheel alignment done and then notified you. We drove less than a hundred miles during this time. We offered to pay for the labor and you pay for the parts. That was a fair offer especially considering you would have had to buy the parts to “fix the issue”. The bottom line is that Star Ford should never have let anyone drive this car off your lot in the condition it was in. It was an accident waiting to happen.

Went to rent a car and wanted to charge $250 because I was going to use debit plus the cost of the rental for 2 days came out to $365. Not paying that much for a car for 2 day . And every time I asked a question they acted like they didnt hear a word I sai . Not going to happen and would not rent from there

Awesome place to get your rental car from they will bring it to you Or come and get you you can get insurance on your rental through them you must bring your car back clean and full of fuel . They told me to wash the car regardless even if its bad outside that way they can see dents or dings
