Terrible front desk costumer service. Called to tell them I was in the parking lot and the response was “and?” ... walked in and saw about 5-6 front desk employees on the computer and none of them looked up to greet me or check me in. They looked at me and talked with one another about what they did that weekend ..I stood there for a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me and I was the only one checking in. I waited for over an hour with nobody coming to tell me they were running behind. Dr adams and his assistant were great, but due to the front staff having poor customer service, I will not be ordering contacts or returning.
I was seen recently by Dr Susan Gresham and Jo Beth for an eye exam and for a refraction. I have some challenges with my eyes and I was very satisfied with their care and attention to my condition. I also had my eyes refracted for a new prescription. I am very near sighted and have astigmatism. I am very happy with my prescription and am seeing quite clearly.
Ordered my contacts a month ago the right eye came in but so when I asked they acted like they hadn’t even ordered the left eye yet. Now there telling me that they were give several different dates and now they’re on back order. Instead of maybe giving me another brand or coming up with any kind of solution at all they tell me well hopefully they’ll be next Thursday.
Waited a month and a half to get into appointment only to be told it would be another five and a half months before I could see doctor McConnell. Month-and-a-half ago had my vision tested which has changed. But when I asked for my new prescription was told by the receptionist the only thing she could give me which was 2018 prescription. Horrible experience at Eye one. Wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy.
Went to an eye appointment this morning. I’ve had eye glasses for 2 years that I received a prescription for at another office. I had high hopes for this office but the front desk representative was cut dry and asked me the same questions over and over like she wasn’t even paying attention. The nurse was nice but didn’t even fully dilate my eyes. More eye drops got on my face then in my eyes, then the doctor came in and told me he didn’t even think I needed them when I know for sure that I do cause when I don’t wear them I can’t see... very unsatisfied and will be looking else where for an eye doctor.
I am so impressed with the customer service and care I received today. The level of knowledge and extent of care I received from the technician Melinda even prior to seeing the doctor was phenomenal. She really knows her stuff and was determined to help me solve my issues. Dr. Rivellino was great as well. Just as good at listening and giving me all the options with pros and cons. Did not feel rushed or like a number at all.
I have gone for three years and every year I see someone new. I also have went from needing reading glasses the first year, to needing glasses all the time on year two, year three I have 20/20 vision. I am in search of a good eye Dr. because everything is blurry for reading. It would be nice if people actually was knowledgeable about their profession like in the old days.
Staunton Facility -Apt was great, but the order of my new glasses was a complete debacle. They failed to phone me when my glasses came in, and when they did come in - not correct prescription. I asked Jennifer to put a rush on the correct glasses, but she didnt seem to want to commit to this. I asked how much longer it would be, again-no commitment from her. I am COMPLETELY dissatisfied with ordering glasses from this office. My recommendation - have your eyes checked at this facility, but order your glasses from some other place.
I lost a contact and went to eye one to order a new one. It had been exactly 366 days, one day over 12 months since my last exam from eye one and they would not allow me to order my contact because it had been over a year. ONE day over a year! They told me I would have to make an appointment and be be examined again. Of course this appointment was not available for another month and then I would have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for my one contact to come in. They did not seem to care about my problem and even after consulting the Dr would they make an exception. This company is all in it for the money and do not care about their patients. Will never use them again.
Squared up myself and 3 kids quickly professionally and politely. Noce selection of glasses at a reasonable price. Was seen promptly within an acceptable window of appointment time. Was able to schedule back to back appointments for all of the kids on the same day.
I had my eyes examined and this was a pleasant experience...it was when I went to purchase glasses that it we wrong and stayed wrong. I asked if I could purchase a very specific pair of glasses that I had found online. They could not get them so I proceeded to pick out glasses and sunglasses that they sold instead. I was measured and my full intent was to order from them. I made contact with Dillon Optics to see if I could order the exact glasses I wanted. They said they could, just provide my Rx and my PD measurements. Eye One refused to provide the PD measurements unless I paid them $30??? I was just measured?? I bought glasses their before and intend on buying there again??? ( I Must also Mention that I returned multiple times to have my other glasses adjusted as the Bi Focal portion was crooked...I wore them for 1 and a half years WRONG as I got tired of dealing with them...on this visit they admitted they were wrong and finally fixed those for free) THEY WOULD NOT budge. Did I mention that they wanted $900 for 2 pair of nothing really special glasses???? I tried multiple times to get my PD measurements and even Dillon Optics contacted them...they too were baffled. I was told that Eye One charges this for Liability reasons?? Well $30 does not take care of any liability....we have you sign a paper to eliminate liability I was told. I stated I would sign that for free! Went to Costco...got my measurements...bought glasses AFTER getting my measurements AND paid LESS THAN HALF THE MONEY. GOODBYE EYE ONE....change the name to EYE AM DONE!!!
All McConnell had to do was apologize for giving misleading information. Raises your hopes about a contact product only to have them dashed, then becomes self righteous instead of sympathetic. A big disappointment for someone with really poor vision who is looking for new options. Will be taking my business elsewhere.
Did not accept my insurance and charged me a co pay even though my insurance said I didn’t have a co pay due.
The Absolute worse. My mom has been there Countless times with problems with her glasses breaking in the exact same spot. They want to make her pay for a new pair, they blame her for sleeping in them (which she doesnt) That she doesnt take them off appropriately which she does. She has had to get 4 pairs of the exact same glasses which break in the same spot every time, and they dont want to hear it, they dont want to fix it, just charge for a new set of exact same frames when there is clearly an issue with that model of frames. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone, absolute terrible customer service.
Never having had to wear any glasses before with the exception of reading glasses, I found this place lacking in their ability to work with the needs of a first timer. Im not familiar with all the terms yet, and when employees forget that problems arise. After waiting for my glasses for what seemed like forever, I was very disappointed to find that they were not right. Yes, they are replacing them. However, here I wait again. I hope the next new patient gets better understanding.
Took my Girlfriend here, they prescribed her a set of correction lenses to help with her eye site getting blurry. They said that would resolve her issues. When it didnt and we called again they said that we would need to come get a new pair to replace the brand new ones we just bought for $300. They were disrespectful and very unknowledgeable. We ended up going to UVA eye Care and finding out she had cut on her eye. If we had listen to EYEONE she may have gone blind . This place should be shut down .
The staff and doctors on the medical side of the office (in Verona) are excellent. However, on the Optical Shop side I experienced some hang ups. First, the young man fitting me for my new lens did not enter my correct insurance. He assumed it was AARP. In fact I did tell him clearly which insurance I had and it was also on my rip sheet that was given to me to take over.Second, the lens that was ordered was the premium lens, which was the most expensive. I had asked for the lens that the insurance covered. Unfortunately, with my eyes dilated I was distracted and did not catch these two errors. It was only after the lens had come in and was in the process of being cut to my frame that I was able to ascertain the reason for the high cost of the lens. I will be more attentive next time, and less trusting. The next time I order from the optical shop I will check with my insurance before placing the final order as I feel certain that this was a deliberate attempt to sell me their premium lens.
It was awesome! The service was great!
My daughter Layla Harris has an appointment Oct 24. 2015.
The staff was very friendly responded immediately to a broken Eye Pad piece replaced both eye pads within minutes and sent us on our way thank you so much
