Weve been to this location 3 times since we bought our house in Staunton last year. This location has a wonderful staff and I dont think Ive met anyone there that hasnt been super pleasant and easy to work with. Their furniture is really great quality, the prices are reasonable and they typically always have some sort of sale or financing offer going on. We always pay for the delivery and setup and their team never disappoints! The warehouse manager is an absolute gem and has always recognized us when he sees us around. The sales teams isnt pushy at all, which I LOVE! This is a great place to buy furniture in the Valley.

I would have to say my experience so far with schewels has been great as I am a new customer with them. I have a good paying job but am limited to just starting to build my credit. I dont have any derogatory remarks from my bank or credit card companies but i do owe a few hospital bills. But nonetheless the credit folks at schewels was willing to give me a chance. They actually gave me a credit line above what i needed. Which made me feel kind of awesome. Although common sense wont let me go charge a whole bunch of things i dont need and cant pay for easily. It made me feel good they were willing to work with me on what i needed. The sales team wasnt pushy and were very friendly. They explained everything i needed to know about the product i was interested in. The buying part of my experience was just as satisfying as the beginning. When i went to finance my furniture i was kind of nervous that they may want a high down payment being a new customer with limited credit. I offered a little over 10% down which was accepted no questions asked or haggling to squeeze all they could from me, which on a one income family is a great feeling. With the pandemic going on, one cant help but notice the steps that were in place to be clean and sanitized at the store in staunton that i went to. Which is always an A+ in my book. I would recommend schewel furniture company to anyone looking for a friendly non pressured enviorment to do business with.

The Staunton location has been my go to every time I am buying furniture. Everyone there is so sweet and even show such kindness to my two young kids (shopping for furniture as a single mom is no walk in the park)

Everything in my order was messed up. Wrong size bed, I ordered 2 night stands instead of 1 and they arent really doing anything to help

Good pricing for well made furniture. You can find cheaper in the area, but it will not last as long.

Greg was quick to help us find what we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable and did everything possible to get us the best deal available. The delivery guys were very friendly, had to move in a very tight space, and cleaned up all the assembly mess. Im very impressed and will definitely buy here again!

I had been to 3 other stores that day looking for a sectional. The prices at the other stores were astronomical and didnt offer shipping! I came into Schewels and the prices were amazing - got a beautiful sectional for a deeply discounted price and the employee who helped me finance it were great. The place was clean and employees were very friendly and helpful without being over bearing salesmen. Will come back again!

Bought a new mattress was not happy with and living room set . Needless to say I have no luck with schewel first off who needs 30 days to see if they like a mattress woke up sore for 3 days straight call them told me to get a mattress topper now why would I do that I just spend 1300.00 on mattress and couch was of floor display broken my advice to anyone looking to buy don’t waste your money !!!

Went looking for beds. Very friendly and great selection. Prices are fair, you get what you pay for scenario. Had to order, they said 2 weeks, not bad I thought. I chose to pick up and install myself, but they offer delivery and setup. Dont know how much $$.

I was expecting to be treated like most furniture stores treat people... most places have pushy associates who only care about making money and not the customer. Shewel Furniture Co. is exactly the opposite. My sales associate Greg was friendly, helpful, and honest and not the least but pushy. And Tammy was very accommodating when I requested a last minute delivery date change. This is the only place I’ll go in the area for new furniture. This is what small family owned businesses are all about! Keep up the great work!

I had a warranty issue with a new mattress set I bought. The manager Daniel was very responsive to resolve the issue .The staff at the Staunton Va store are always pleasant and helpful.They were able to solve my problem and now I am awaiting a new mattress.So anyone looking for great place to shop...this is the one!

The staff is always friendly and helpful with my purchases, and the sales staff are very professional in assisting me with choices and needs. They are always knowledgeable of their products, and explain the features of products available. They not only explain features, but bring to my attention of savings, discounts, sales, and how their product features can save money. I never feel pressured in making decisions, or in purchasing. Their credit department always provide a variety of financing options that is suitable for my budget. The staff is like family. I have never had an unpleasant experience with purchases, financing, and Ive never purchased any item that I was not totally satisfied with. I highly recommend Schewels to everyone. Its a great blessing to have a such a successful locally owned business in our regional community that has continued to grown has Schewels has.

Im new to the area and I was scared of making a big purchase. The staff at Schewels completely changed that for me. They didnt overwhelm me at the store and even offered same day delivery when they found out that I didnt have any furniture to sit on. The delivery staff arrived on time and were extremely friendly.

The manager here is the rudest, most hateful woman on the planet. Seriously needs an attitude adjustment! Offers warranty on furniture but refuses to honor it without a fight and stipulations. Will never buy a thing from this place ever again.

Made it easy for me to purchase what I wanted and guide me to best opinion . So here is and update the tv I got was garbage and the manger has given me the run around. He told me that TVs are only returnable if not open. So how will you know if it works if you dont open it. So now Im stuck what s broken piece of junk . That is only close to 30 days old. Wow. I gave it 2 stars because of the sales people . But never buy a t.v. from here

Just a horrible company. They act like they care but in reality only care about their bottom line! I’ve recommended to anyone I meet to go somewhere else. Bought two items with them but will NEVER give them my business ever again,especially with how this second purchase has went.

Staunton Schewel Furniture was great. Waynesboro Schewel Furniture has lost my business because I purchased a $2000 bedroom set and the firm mattress started sagging, when they exchanged it they brought me a plush mattress and I was told that can not get a firm mattress that I had to deal with what I have so I may be taking this to court unless corporate can resolve this matter.

I bought a mattress and box springs from Scheels in staunton Virginia well apparently the warranty is not that great because the mattress and box springs are no good I’ve only had it maybe a year and is supposed to have a 10 year warranty on it and all they want to do was replace the mattress so my advice don’t buy anything from Shaws and staunton ever drop her off where

I have shoped hear multiple times over the years used to have like $3500 credit here always payed on time and payed off early. Go in this time they said they had to rerun my credit and after approved told me they needed 10% down. Never needed that before.

I love the Schewls in Staunton VA. Their customer service is awesome and they work hard to get you what you want at a price you can afford. My experience with them has been nothing but awesome!!!. I would definitely recommend them. # oneverysatisfiedcustomer
