I had some work done on my truck a couple of years ago at the body shop. It looked good when it rolled out of the body shop. A couple of years later the poor quality of their work is showing. Quality work is not one of their goals. They appear to be controlled by one insurance company in particular. Stay away.

This was the right truck at the right price but more importantly the right dealer… Mike Hungate has been excellent through the whole process. He was immediately responsive after an internet inquiry and easy + quick to communicate with as we got to a deal on an in-transit truck and then supportive all the way to delivery.Supply chain issues have made this a tough market for dealers trying to make a living and buyers trying to avoid money pits. In a really tough car market (June 2021), buying a car could have been a pretty bad experience. Sean L. took time to get me exactly what I needed. In fact, I bought and drove away with an SUV that had bench seats and not captains (for my wife, didnt even think). He quickly found the exact same vehicle with the options I needed, canceled the contract and rewrote it with the right ride. I will come back here next time I need a truck for sure.

This review would have been 1 star if it wasnt for Craig and Doug in the service department. The entire department would not be what it is in my opinion if it was not for them. It took everyone else over 1 week to get me an answer about a defect on my Ford SUV and it took Craig and Doug not even 1 day to resolve it after I had to escalate it to them. Excellent Customer Service and resolution skills and they won a long term customer/friend out of me.

My husband and I bought a brand-new F-150 from Mike and Kevin last week. It was a smooth process, and there was never any pressure to buy.My husband has had his eye on a truck for a while, and had previously emailed with Mike to ask some questions on features - Mike was prompt and helpful with his responses, even though there was no sale chance at that time. When we emailed with a list of features we were hunting for, Mike went above and beyond to find us the PERFECT truck in stock. The price was more than reasonable, and included some baked-in discounts.The test drive and debrief were thorough. I shouldnt really have to say this, but because its not always been the experience at other dealerships: I was absolutely treated as an equal partner in the truck demonstration and features discussion.The financing discussion/paperwork with Kevin afterward was - strangely enough - enjoyable. He knows all the ins and outs of the paperwork and can explain each one in a way that makes sense.Im sure everyone walked away from the experience happy. I know we did. I love my current SUV but when it needs replacing, Ill absolutely be back. Keep one of those electric Mustangs ready for me. :P

I went to purchase a mustang on a Saturday, the one I wanted was a little too high for my monthly payments plus they started out only giving me $7500 for my trade in after they came back offered $9000. The monthly payments were still too high so I decided to try somewhere else, the salesman didn’t even try to see if I wanted the other one that was $5000 lower that I had forgotten about. So the next weekend I went to carmax and they offered to buy my car for $14,600! I have 7 days on the offer, so I left there went back to Ford and the other one was sold the day before. What really upset me was the salesman didn’t even try to offer to help to see if we could find another one or even ask his boss if we could work something out for the one I wanted, he was too busy playing on his phone! Needless to say I left with a bad taste for this dealership!

Do not buy used cars here. I bought about 7 years ago and ended up in reverse because they could not even fix the vehicle. After all that I decided to give them one more chance and drove a used car off the lot with multiple problems and recalls I was never told about. After a few months of them not even having a loaner car, they finally got one and then tell me parts to fix is not covered by my extended warranty which I think is ridiculous especially driving it off the lot with issues and noises. Already being mentioned to them in the first place. Now no one knows about it and says I didn’t tell them. I did. So now I have to pay them to get my truck fixed. I’m never coming back here for anything. Ever. Again. This was my last shot with them and they blew it. I may just go trade it in at another dealership and be done with Ford all together. Done.

Tim Heinz took great care of me and my service needs for my 2018 Ford Escape Titanium.I came in to purchase a set of four new tires. I had a couple of tire brands and models in mind and he explained the difference with each which made my decision so easy.I had several other tasks that I wanted his service team to check which he noted on the service order and got all of them accomplished.Tim is also great with communication and responds promptly to phone messages. Additionally, he informed about an issue the service tech found and he discovered from my Ford records that my Ford Extended warranty covered the problem for a nominal deductible. The is a warranty which I thought had expired. That was a great discovery for me so, I had the additional work done. Show up, ask about issues with your Ford truck. Get told to go elsewhere because they dont work on it (Granted its a modified Ford, but its still a Ford warrantied truck 100%). First time I went in 2018 they took it for a week and did nothing with it only to tell me to go somewhere else to work on the vehicle. At least look and see whats going on for a second. Took another vehicle there for rough shifting, told it was fine. couple days later the transmission lost all the fluid and had to return it. Told me i had to cover the PCM module replacement when it was a bad seal on the transmission and under warranty. Crummy service in general, and really could care less about customers. Sadly, I am locked to a single Ford dealership for any work and thats in Dickinson. 2 stars cause well my kids get ribbons for participation, and well might as well follow that view in life. Also, I understand there are items in play Helfman is not responsible for, but really at least look at the vehicle to see if there is actually something going on (Was not bought at this dealer, nor in this state). Turns out yes, there were many things going on and they wouldnt even look at codes or anything and had me drive away with a check engine and ecu failure again. Thanks guys, you really are following the Quality is job one motto.

I am very pleased with the service I received at Hellman Ford!. I wanted to check that all of the safety features were working properly on our newly purchased pre owned Ford Fusion. I called ahead and spoke to BJ. He made it clear that he understood my concern. I was planning to drop it off and have my husband come to pick me up. They had my car checked out and were finished before my husband could even get there. I feel comfortable with my purchase and I will use Hellman if and when we need car repairs. I love that BJ went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and safe about the car that I purchased for my teenage son who is a new driver.

Had a poor experience with the service department here - Doug was cool and did everything in his power to rectify but ultimately the experience has turned me away from Ford and their vehicles probably forever. Sales manager started out helpful but in the end when I needed to hold their loaner vehicle an extra 2-3 days to finish a deal at an affiliated dealership he turned out to be not empathetic by snatching the loaner back leaving me to bum rides the rest of the week (not fun) when their dealership was the cause of the issue

I had scheduled an online appointment with legacy Ford service Dept for 8:00 am Monday and arrived at 7:30 am. I was greeted ten minutes later by an older man who asked “what can we do you for?” I told Him I had an appointment for my door key to be cut and for my remote to be programmed and he replied it would take two or three hours and asked me if I was sure I wanted to do that today? I replied yes I’m sure so we went inside and fifteen minutes later he said I did not have an appointment. I asked for his supervisor and he made excuses also, so I asked for his supervisor. He told me I didn’t read the fine print on the website and it was only an appointment to drop off my vehicle and they have 120 cars in their service Dept. I said I didn’t realize I didn’t have an appointment and told him I would simply take my truck somewhere else. Legacy Ford went out of their way to make sure I understood my business wasn’t wanted nor needed! I called Hefman Ford and was told no appointment was necessary to come on in, so I drove 18 miles down the freeway and pulled up and was immediately greeted by a young man named Ian King who told me it should be an hour and a half or so and only cost $89. I wouldn’t go back to legacy Ford if it was free! I bought my truck from legacy Ford one year ago! Helfman Ford has my business for the life of my truck! Avoid legacy Ford like the plague!

Just bought my F-150 XLT today and the experience was first class. I dealt with my man Paco and it was incredibly smooth. He really took the time to explain all features so I could understand them and he was not pushy or forceful regarding the negotiation process. The after market and finance team of sal and Kevin were great too and the process was about as easy as could be. I highly recommend this dealer, but more importantly, the team that helped make today a very smooth and easy day. Thanks again Paco and everyone else that helped for today!

I recently purchased a used Ford Expedition from Helfman Ford. Ignacio and the entire Used Car team were awesome to work with. They made the buying process extremely easy and quick. Since I live two and half hours away we worked out all the details over phone. So when I got there, I simply had to test drive and sign the papers. The truck was exactly as advertised if not better than expected. After returning home, the battery started having issues. Again the Helfman used car team went above and beyond to make it right and quickly started the process to replace it. I would highly recommend this dealership to all my friends and family.

I had Mark Harris for my salesman and he was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and what would be best for my budget. The sale experience with Mark Harris was more like a regular conversation with someone you know, rather than a negotiation like I had with previous salesman. I also got a great price for my trade in which was a 2018 F-150 STX 2wd and was able to leave with a 2021 F150 Lariat 4x4. Overall great hassle free experience.

Sales rep (Mark Harris)was very personable, straight forward and efficient. Dealer did not give much on the price of the F150 at all, but with the current semiconductor shortage and the delay in shipping of new trucks to dealers, they didnt have to give and they knew it. Ive purchased 9 vehicles from Helfman Ford over the years and I was a little disappointed in their seemingly unwillingness to give a little for a continuing return buyer. But, I much prefer the Ford F150 and I moved forward with the purchase

The service drive crew need to be more attentive when customers are pulling up and not let them wander aimlessly trying to figure out who they need to speak to. Service Members seem to grab a phone and act like they are taking a call as you approach service doors. Jason was a delight and the only person who offered help. Thank you sir.

Jason Schoenfeld has been my service advisor since 2012 when I bought my F-150 from Helfman. Jason is expert at navigating the Ford CSP and getting repairs covered. There have been a few out of pocket expenses but for the most part Jason and Ford CSP have treated me very well.
