Just a hometown greasy-spoon 1950s style place. On the small side but that adds to the charm. Food is always good if not always good for you. π They have a regular crowd that makes newcomers always feel welcome.Truly an American icon in terms of the way things used to be. Great atmosphere, great people, great prices and most of all great food.

My burger and fries were absolutely delicious. Meat was a little pink in the middle, didnt ask for that. I will definitely be going back for lunch.
Came here for 1st time today. Really fell in love with this little joint! Very friendly staff and the daily special (fried catfish) was spot on! Loved their fried okra too! If I happen through around lunch time again would definitely eat here again.

If I was traveling down Route 66 this is a place Id have lunch or breakfast.I had a chesseburger and fries for $5.25 plus tax. It tasted great. The meat was flavorful. Reminded me of hamburgers we used to get 40-50 years ago.The waitress was very friendly, not in a flirty way, but very helpful and made me feel welcome.There are many things in the diner the will bring back a few memories.They close early so dont show up at 4 in the afternoon.T

Cozy, super awesome place. My man and I sat at the retro counter and had the blue plate special, which was one of two. Fried butterfly shrimp or hand breaded ( literally) catfish plate. Amazing food, atmosphere and wait and kitchen staff!

The food was really good. Burgers were tasty. Replaced fries with fried okra for me and fried mushrooms for hubby. All the sides were really good. I got the cheese steak which was of, since it was in bread and not a roll, but it was really good. Place was good, and we will probably return. 4 starts because it wasnt amazing. And waited had mall on, but mall didnt cover her nose, which kind of ruins the point. However, shed probably been wearing it since opening and it may have just gotten loose. Waitress was very friendly and service was good. Be aware this place has been there since the 60s definitely looks it. No remodeling. Still, it was clean.

Plain Jane can be good, especially when all you want is some home cooking away from home. Sure, we all have our opinions on what constitutes home cooking when eating out. However, this is about as authentic as youre going to get. The other day I ordered a breakfast sandwich. Nothing extraordinary about it. Two pieces of toast, fried egg and a sausage patty put together. That was it. No flare, no hoopla and no gimmicks. I could have made it at home, but I didnt have to. In a world where everyone has to up their food game, its a good feeling to just go simple.

This little diner is quaint. We decided to try it and we are glad we did. The food was great! The waitress was very friendly! The owner even came to our table to greet us. We had the grilled club sandwich and the Philly cheese steak sandwich with fries. We both thought that our food was delicious. We will definitely be going back again.

Awesome stop for a morning bite. Went on a Tuesday with some co-workers. The wait staff was very friendly and quick. The coffee was surprisingly good. I would take their Joe over Starbucks any day of the week. The food was excellent and so reasonably priced. I highly recommend visiting here for a bite to eat.

We love this cafe, great food great prices and Best of all our favorite server Kim makes her awesome pies daily so get there before they sell out! Now they are open evenings too! But the pies sell quick as she turns them out so get there early or order a whole one to take home!
