From carrot cake to strawberry shortcakes to delectable cupcakes and muffins, theres something for everyone✨.
There was no wait time. We were seated immediately. The waitress was friendly. She had a mask on, but it didnt cover her nose. The menu was huge! There was so much to choose from. Classic American cuisine and Greek food. Maybe they excel at the Greek food. I didnt try that. The American cuisine was good. Not great, but good. Good enough I would probably go there again, but I wouldnt be the one to suggest it.
9/2021 - Excellent breakfast menu with large omelette selection and a variety of pancake flavors. The wait staff is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.My wife and I have only ever ordered breakfast and have never been disappointed.Parking is ample and the restrooms are clean. The baked goods in the display case appear fresh and large, but I havent been able to get my wife to allow me a sample! 😁
First time visit and I love diners. But not this one. I ordered fried scallops that I assume came frozen and breaded from their supplier. The scallops were difficult to cut and beyond chewable. The cocktail sauce was still frozen and thus unusable. I enjoyed the cole slaw but even that was too creamy. The only reason I didnt give them one star was because our server was so pleasant. I wasnt expecting fine dining but the meal was terrible.
I really love this diner, and I visit a lot of them, especially in Delco. The have a lot of choices of dishes here and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. If I visit a diner more than a handful of times, that’s a good sign. Springfield diner is one of those diners!
I want to give them 1 star but the staff was friendly and prices were reasonable so I assume maybe they are just having a rough day. I got grits eggs and bacon. The grits and bacon wasnt hot. The grits wasnt at all to my liking. The eggs I ordered medium hard. When I told my waitert I wanted them a little harder I had already put my fork in them and the waiter offered to put them back on the grill🤦🏽♀️ Im over it. Its a pandemic lady. Even if it wasnt thats not sanitary you was support to make me a new one. I told the cashier my experience. I left my keys when I went back they saw I didnt even eat my food. I shouldnt even had to pay. Ah the toast was ok. No they would have give me a free meal for me to come and try them again. I was beyond aggravation . Cause I was looking forward to a good meal.
Great food! My waitress did what I asked but she was a little grumpy still tipped $20 for proper serving service and her attentiveness. The hot open face roast beef sandwich ( which I judge every diner by) was excellent, lean meat and savory gravy. Not the best desserts Ive had but they were passing. This place is worth a try😊
Great price, great food and fabulous staff. Recommend the chipped beef on toast and the wonderful French toast. Our waitress was fast, courtesy and we just love going to the Springfield Diner

Great service, friendly family feel. If you come here you have to try the cakes. Absolutely amazing. Im moving into the area in a few weeks and will definitely be coming here often.
If you are going to order for pick up, do it by phone and make sure the person taking your order understands that you want the food as it is described on the menu. Check it before you leave in case things are missing from your order. Also, pita bread isnt supposed to be stale, right? One and done for me.
Went here for breakfast and all of the food was amazing. Pancakes were fluffy, eggs done just as you ordered them, home fries nice and crunchy on the outside, toast was already buttered.
Owner has very bad service.My daughter had a bug in her Chicken Potpie. The Manager was willing to give 50%i off the bill and no change for my daughters food.We only had a few bites of our food when we saw the bug. We no longer had a desire to eat after seeing this bug. The owner said he would only take off the price of the Potpie from our bill with a very bad attitude.I will not eat there again.
Ate there Thursday night. Wife order a corned beef Ruben. The meat was full of huge hunks of fat they never trimmed it. I usually dont give negative reviews right now but it was terrible. The man behind us at the counter wanted prime rib, the special, but the were out of it. The waitress suggested a steak. When she gave it to him it had two bones with very little meat, which was awful inedible. I dont mind higher prices or waiting a little bit longer, but dont serve slip to your customers. We have been going there for years but after that we will not be back.

Went to diner today for lunch. Server greeted us shortly after arriving. She brought us drinks. We both ordered Turkey clubs. We waited 1/2 hour for food. Never seen our server. Once we saw her we asked where our food was. She told us its busy. And then preceded to input our order into the micros system. She waited 1/2 hour to place our order. We left without eating. horrible service. Manager not aware of how careless the servers are.
Delicious best describes every aspect of this dining experience. The staff were professional, but very friendly. The restaurant was well maintained and clean. The food was cooked to order. I highly recommend that you save room for a dessert - they have wonderful choices. If this review was helpful, please like it.
The food is good and with large portions. The only concerns I have is the servers not having basic training.For example, reaching across my plate of food, to serve the person to me. Or, not coming back to my table after being served to ask me if Iwe need anything.
Food is delicious. Service is very good. My friends and I have been going there for years. BUT, there are no African American servers. Have never seen one.

Just okay. My mom really likes this place but I wasn’t impressed with the service or the food. Food was under seasoned. I had to add salt and pepper and I never do that when I go out to eat. Portions are large and prices aren’t too bad, with the exception of $3 for a cup of juice. Not sure if refills are included because I was never offered one.
The service and environment were welcoming.... the food could be fresher meaning a lil warmer n more flavor but not bad at all. Will give it another shot!
Horrible. Order a turkey club and a patty melt. Fries were greasy and the bacon taste old and just nasty. My son got a chicken platter Im not sure how that was yet but Im sure its nasty as well. You can tell they changed hands. Sad this place use to be good.
I frequent this Diner quite often when I am in town. I love their French Toast! The Servers are very forgetful but very nice and welcoming. The cashier, however, should be more polite and attentive to the customers experience during the checkout process. Other then that, great food, good atmosphere, a little room for improvement.
The service is excellent and the food is fresh. The feta cheese on the Greek salad was disappointing and so was the overly oily spinach pie. I did enjoy the variations in the traditional recipes of the moussaka and the pasticcio. They were light, airy and tasty. I would absolutely come again and mostly because of the freshness of the food and the positive service experience.
I only gave 2 stars because the staff was nice. I ordered fish home fries and eggs . I was charged $17.95 for two large pieces of fish that tasted like cardboard and $6.95 for eggs and a plate full of onions. I wasn’t given my sides, even though I was charged for an entree. I have never in my life had fish I didn’t like until today, it was awful, nothing made it better is was the worst fish I ever had ….shame on them.

This was my first visit for Mothers day !! My children brought me. They are very empress with this diner... I was so disappointed with my dinner. I wanted seafood so bad while thinking maybe not here it may not be a specialty.. Boy oh Boy was I right.. It tasted like it had been in the freezer for a very long time.. It was breaking up every time I tried to pick it up.. It was seafood combination dinner I ordered.. I had no choice but to throw it away.. I believe in my heart it should not be on the menu 💯
For many many years Sprinfield Diner has been a favorite go to, for me and my family.That changed tonight when a cockroach ran across the table while we were eating.Went to the manager with PHOTOGRAPHIC proof. I was essentially called a liar. He said that is not ours.I walked him to the table, where the COCKROACH WAS STILL ON THE WALL!!!The resolution? Our barely eaten dessert was comped. Thats it.At the register I asked if he really felt that comping our dessert was the best resolution to the situation. I was told yes, and that is the first time they had ever seen one.If a roach is all of the way out at just about the farthest place from the kitchen, you can bet the whole restaurant is crawling with them.WILL NEVER RETURN, and for the sake of your health, I would strongly reccomend thinking long and hard before eating there.I took a 2nd picture from a farther distance to show that this is all legit. You can clearly see that it is their wall at our table that the roach stopped on after running across.

Pleasant atmosphere good service. Food was okay but nothing to write home about . I had 3 large pancakes lite but not to my liking, eggs good and scrapple that was too thick browned but slightly undercooked inside . My friend had roast beef with mashed potatoes which he seemed to enjoy and Cole slaw that was dry .
TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED!! A few moments ago I walked in and the intent to order take out. A woman with dark silky hair and a gentleman with dark silky hair are at the register. NO ONE GREETED ME. As I stood there, I grabbed a menu. Looking at them both, I witnessed that they proceeded to help other customers and even rang up 3 people that came to the register after me. (I honestly hope it had nothing to do with the fact that I am a person of color.) Finally, I said “I am ready to place a togo order.” Both of them said I needed to order at the counter. I go to the counter and NO ONE IS THERE TO TAKE MY ORDER!! After wasting over 15 minutes I walked out. Unbelievable!

The food was delicious, price was reasonable and the atmosphere was pleasant. The noise level was low considering how many people were there. The waitress was attentive and the hostess was polite. The seating was comfortable and the temperature of the room was nice. Their deserts were cute and look good. I would go again.

Late night,needed something to eat every other diner was close after leaving from show on Broad and Ridge in North Philadelphia and didnt want to wait for a table at the local night spots in the area decided to find a late night diner, we remembered that place out in Springfield on Baltimore Pike, food,service and personal was fantastic would recommend 👍 this restaurant.

It was a busy Saturday night but we were seated in a timely manner. The service was thorough, quick, & accurate. The food was reasonably priced & for the money it was very good. I will definitely be back soon, maybe get 1 of those fantastic looking desserts I saw in the case.

Terrible eatery & if i could give 0 stars or even negative stars i would & could.we walked in & immediately received dirty looks,they overpriced us for a group of 9 & borderline embarrassed us, including telling us the check was clear & added more money on & then got upset when he got corrected & tried to get off on us. rude establishment like hell, there are better places for you to eat at.the only upside was our waitress who was sweet but it’s disappointing how they treat their customers especially black folks (this isn’t the first time).but this will be the last time we eat there..ever.

Food was excellent. I had the prime rib special and there was enough food for 2 meals. The covid precautions were very good and our server went above and beyond to make our visit to the diner a most pleasurable one. I will definitely be going back.

Heard so much about this place so finally my wife and I visited yesterday and we wasnt disappointed food was great especially the chicken parm and the Honey Dipped Fried Chicken. Service we great especially our waitress Judy and we arrived around 5-6pm and to our amazement there wasnt a wait. We will definitely be visiting again and again
Everything was super good me and my children had had pancakes chicken fingers, fries and hot wings & my husband also had hot wings and a chicken sandwich with fries and everything was truly delicious.

I visited here today for dinner on 6/25/21. The food was the worst I ever had there. The waitress needs to go back to training. She was rude and forgot things we asked for. Her name was Carrie. She also was not friendly. What happened to your creamed chipped beef. You changed the recipe and not for the better. Worst I have ever eaten.

Normally this is a really nice place I personally like it me and my girl and our friend came from a funeral today and went to go eat this afternoon we got three pieces of cake and a cupcake. So more of the story the cashier gave us our order and said it was in there everything. To find out that we got the 3 pieces of cake and they didnt give us the cupcake. Each piece of cake cost five and we know this because we asked the guy cuz we called and complained about it which he wasnt nice about it. They overcharged us $26. Highly disappointed. 😠
