We buy all of our computers here. Great customer service and they stand by their 3 year warranty. Our computer went out after 2 years from a power surge. Altec fixed it for free because of the 3 year warranty. Highly recommend.

Company is going down hill. Store is dark and dirty. Windows filithy. Chestnut Expressway store was clean and bright until they closed it. I hope their repairs are still good.

Dusty is a life saver, I spilled liquid on my laptop and wasnt able to open the back due to to the type of screws.He was able to open up for me and I proceeded to clean and dry for several days. Now the laptop is up and running the only thing that seems to have gone bad is the battery, which ill purchase from Altec...Thanks again!

Short version - go here instead of Best Buy and Computer Ren.I have had nothing but good experience with this shop. They are one of the only shops around that will take the time to just chat with you about parts, and will give their honest opinion about hardware (if they are telling you that your $200 pc will be crap, its because it will be - not because they are trying to make money).The only thing I would recommend is they keep a thin stock of high end graphics cards, which is understandable - but dangit I want the eye candy!
