Absolutely wonderful little hidden gem. Great coffee, tea selection, food options, gourmet hot dog menu, and local beer and wine. Chill jazz playing, just overall warm and friendly environment. My partner and I run our business online and often take day trips and work from coffee shops to break the routine. So I super appreciate all the side tables have their own power jacks with 6 outlets. Makes remote working a breeze.

If you want a great experience I highly recommend visiting. The owner is exceptional and truly cares about his product and his customers. Absolutely went above and beyond for my wife and I and the rest of the people inside all while running the restaurant by himself. Bought people coffees and breakfast, gave us a gift card for waiting. I will frequent here for as long as theyre open all because he truly cares. The food and coffee were also fantastic

Very nice hometown coffee shop. The service was great (and very nice!) And the coffee was prepared quickly and to order. I also had a piece of coffee cake which was very good and a decent price for the size of the slice. Parking was very easy (at least on a Saturday) so it would be a very good place to go for a quick in and out. If I am back in the area, I will definitely stop again.

Love this place! Delicious breakfast bagels, hot dogs and lattes. Staff is always friendly and everything we’ve ordered has been delicious. The building is absolutely gorgeous as well. Highly recommend!

Great cubano, nice area and pleasant ambianceThis was my second stop of total 4 coffee shops around the area the same day and it was undoubtedly the best of the four. What brought me through the doors was the reviews of other people (thats why Im returning the favor), but mainly the fact that they had cubano on their menu online!When I walked in, I was surprised about the area, it looked pretty nice. The store ambiance was very pleasant, not busy at all and plenty of places to sit. Could have been air conditioned a little better (cooler), but it was not uncomfortable.I ordered the cubano and about $3 later, I got a nice mug of something Ive been looking for since Ive moved from the South. It was a surprisingly large amount of espresso, but it was delicious. Ill definitely be coming back for another one in the near future!!

Owner was so kind. I had a Vanilla latte and a Ruben panini. He offered to let us try the soup for free. My friend and I did and wanted to buy some before we left. He wouldnt let us pay for soup he just gave it to us. The service was great and the food/coffee were great too. Ill have to go back again. Really enjoyed it.

The hotel had no coffee in the lobby. Being a bit of a coffee addict and not a morning person I was not happy. I looked across the street and the open sign beckoned me. Un Mundo Cafe. I walked in and simply asked the ever so friendly gentleman for his version of a caramel macchiato. He did not disappoint. So yummy. The boost I needed. I love finding little gems by coincidence. Happy customer!

Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great for studying. The seating area is well lit and divided into two separate areas at the front and back of the shop. Both their iced and hot coffee have been consistently good.

I love Un Mundo! Gluten free bread is always an option, also gf hot dog buns, and often a gf dessert. Good quality ingredients, very friendly, hard working owners. Great location in a historic downtown building, with ample outdoor seating right next to the scenic bike path! It really is the best for coffee drinks, salads, sandwiches, wine and beer.

This place is delightful! The owners are always cheerful and friendly. The coffee is tasty and expertly made. I’ve had the Three Cheese Veggie four times now, each time as tasty as the last! I come to town once and month for work and will always make this a part of my culinary experience. I can not recommend enough!!

Such a delightful little place. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The coffee and smoothies are pretty good. My toddler loved the mixed berry muffin (coming from a very picky eater) who ate the whole muffin. The price is also really affordable for good coffee. Would definitely go back.

I have been here several times and I love it everytime I go. They have friendly staff and a small business - I care about you feeling. I just went there with my friends to study and we enjoyed the tea while we worked. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great coffee shop that is awesome for studying and business meetings.

Went twice in two days. One of the best options for coffee in Springfield, especially given the limited options. Didnt try the food. Good sizes on the iced drinks. The mocha was a little bitter for my taste, similar to Starbucks, but the vanilla latte I had was good. The food looks good. Oddly shaped room with relatively decent capacity.

I worked downtown Springfield for about a month. Of all of the food options, I didnt mind eating here everyday. You cant go wrong with any of the choices, unless you have a personal preference against a certain ingredients. They have some.of the best homemade humus.

Nice atmosphere. Great coffee. Would go again. Only issue I had was building is not quite accessible from the street. There is a small step and door which makes it difficult to enter in a wheelchair. Otherwise perfect.

I was staying at the Marriott Courtyard across the street and needed a quick bite. I got a panini sandwich and a beer (since they had happy hour specials). Everything tasted great and service was excellent. It looks like they can also brew up any coffee drink you like. Oh, they also have free WIFI, just ask for the password. Good place to enjoy lifes moments.

Great little place. Soft music playing, beautiful cityscape with the unique downtown Springfield architecture out each window. The food was great (we ordered from the panini menu) and the coffee also. If youre lucky you might get to watch a train go by. Its a picturesque little spot with real good food.

In town for a short amount of time and decided to check this place out. Excellent paninis, terrific hummus and refreshing drinks. The espresso was very well received by my partner. The gentleman and woman working were an absolute delight. If we ever find ourselves in Springfield again, this will be a stop for sure.

Quiet, quaint little coffee shop. The service was good and the coffee was delicious. Sitting in an older building with atmosphere was a real treat. Loved the authentic architecture of this old building.

I love this place! They have so many kinds of delicious loose-leaf tea that it will take you forever to pick one out. Their lunch sandwiches are really great too, definitely a great place to sit down and get some work done away from the office or have a cup of coffee with a friend.

Sandwiches are excellent. Teas are superb. Staff is very nice. But, they have changed their breads from the whole clove garlic bread, to plain Italian.

Wonderful food, really amazingly good! Went twice over the weekend with my husband. I got a veggie & hummus wrap in a spinach tortilla the first time, and everything was so fresh and crisp and colorful. The hummus wad made fresh right when I ordered it. Coffee was also great! I had an iced chai latte both visits. The bagels are to die for. Try the black Russian! :)

Ive been here many times and felt a review was in order. Best Americano in Springfield, hands down. Staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. Check out one of their concerts sometime!

A Springfield gem 🍴Tried this cool little cafe yesterday since we were staying across the street at Marriott. I had a 3 cheese veggie panini that I split with my daughter, husband had a ham one. We couldnt stop talking about how good it was! They had a good selection of beer & wine too. Wish I wouldve just went back here today for dinner instead of Panera. I dont mind paying extra for delicious food when its worth it, Un Mundo is definitely worth it.

Awesome stop for coffee in the morning. Springfield city maintenance thinks it funny to block the street sometimes. So be prepared to drive out of your way and walk. Of course its not the coffee shops doing. Screwy gov.

Its no surprise that they had just 2 customers at 9:30 on a sunny Saturday morning. While the coffee tastes good - very good, in fact - the business is not without its opportunities.The menu...or should I say menus. Having no fewer than 4 locations for customers to find food and drink options is a recipe (get it?) for customer confusion. This might be helpful, except that each of these menus is different.The folks behind the counter arent the most helpful, or customer-centric. Theyre sort of demeaning and a little...well, I dont necessarily feel important to them.Time to re-examine why youre in business.

Simply best latte in town that you can get. I love starbucks coffee but will still get Un Mundo coffee over starbucks. Their coffee beans are fair-traded beans that they know farmers of their products. Very cool. Great owner of sincere faith! I love talking to people working here whenever I stop by. Great place for local to hang out!

A staff member harrassed a young lady with her therapy dog because he wanted to know her disability since he couldnt see it. They claim to be service dog friendly but then treat a customer so rudely, she & her companions left. Shame on you!

I *LOVE* this café! I come here with my friends whenever I am downtown for the farmers market or Culture Fest! Perfect little place to grab a coffee or tea and a panini.They have a stand where you can buy local art, music, baked goods, or wine. I really love how they support other local buisnesses. Today I went while at Culture Fest, and they had Ohio-brewed wine. I would have purchased some but sadly I am underage, haha.Great place with great coffee, great sandwiches, great service, and a great place for all Springfield-goers! Highly recommend.

In one years time, Un Mundo has transformed from a Springfield gem to a generic coffee shop. Painted art tables have given way to grey Formica. Tasteful indie is now cloying Contemporary Christian. The young artistic clientele have been replaced by bourgeois churchgoers. While the tea, food, and coffee are good as ever, visits to Un Mundo 2014 range from passable to unpleasant.

Un Mundo has a good selection of coffee and tea. They also have salads (excellent) and sandwiches with homemade chips. I personally do not enjoy the Chai (just not my kinda Chai honestly), but they have wonderful Italian sodas. The shop is on the smaller side, but is cozy. Staff is very friendly.

Welcome back for the brief hiatus from the flood. Paninis are delicious as usual and love the addition of the gourmet hotdogs with the vegan options.

Food is delicious. They offer paninis, wraps, salads and various sides as well as many hot and cold drinks. I recommend the yogurt with granola and fruit (strawberry, banana or mango) as well as the reuben. The black iced tea, sweetened, is the best iced tea around.Staff is very courteous. We visited during the Holiday in the City and the place was packed. The staff passed out taffy to patrons while waiting in line.

Every time I have eaten here, the employees are so kind and helpful and I get the food/tea very quickly! The peach tea is good as are the chai lattes! I would recommend the three cheese veggie panini! It is so good!! Will definitely be eating here again.Also love that they sell local cds and books! Pick up a Daniel Dye cd if you like folk/americana!
