Mike & the rest at Anvil & Forge were so great! We hosted a Celebration of Life at the brewery & the space, atmosphere & service were wonderful! I would highly recommend them for any event!

Stopped by here for a quick drink after getting into town. Tried three different beers and all were very good. Would definitely stop by again.

Great new local brewery, soon also distillery. Little bit of something for every taste. (Pictures) beautiful flight in order. Traditional hefeweizen with a bit more smooth finish #3. Wife had #7 bit of a zing in tart but very delicious. So divided on the full beer order. Been to four corners of the globe and in top 5 of local breweries. Can NOT wait for the still!!! Prices are very reasonable for downtown and atmosphere. Bartender was great conversationalist.

Super friendly owners and great beer! The hefe was by far my favorite, but we tried 6 different ones and every single one had awesome flavor profiles. Definitely will be back whenever were in the area!

GREAT PLACE! Was visiting a friend in Springfield and stopped in to try this place- glad we did. About 8 beers on tap- but all in different styles and great tasting. They serve a good NEIPA and very drinkable sours (dont be scared, give them a try). The staff, including the owner, are nice people. Plenty of seating and a large indoor area for cornhole/bags and giant jenga. If you like craft beer, dont pass this place up!

Best microbrewery and best coffee shop in Central Illinois. Hands down. There’s plenty of breweries in Springfield, but A & F have the best tasting and most consistent beers in town.

Great friendly customer service. High quality and expertly prepared drinks. They take the time to do foam art, even on to-go drinks. The employees seem happy and care about craftsmanship.Also they have square and I can easily pay with Samsung pay which is awesome.

Great IPA and great cold brew. Try the Tuxedo, its excellent. We visited from out of town and had several friends suggest this place. Loved everything we had.

The coolest brewery Ive been in! Its dog friendly and the owners are super nice! The beer was great! We played corn hole and battleship. I would recommend to any beer, cider or sour drinker!

Great space for a casual night. Good beers on tap and at affordable prices. Good selection of games as well as bags and giant Jenga! Highly recommended for a more relaxed venue if thats what youre into. The beer selection changes quite often so there is always something new to try.
