Left my chainsaw to be sharpened last week. They told me it would be at least 3 weeks before they could get to it. That was ok with me since I didnt need it for a while. Called today, it was done! Always good knowledgeable staff.

This is a very cool place. Its kind of pricey though. You can get all kinds of stuff for country or farm style living. You can even get horse feed. Check it out

I buy all my pet food and the majority of my work clothes here. I love this store for its huge selection of pet, outdoor, automotive, and construction clothing. They really do have a better selection and better prices on pet food, treats, and toys than any of the pretty stores or even Walmart.Its about the only place to buy quality brand pants, shirts, socks, hoodies, hats, gloves, and rubber boots at reasonable prices.I was there yesterday to get dog food and took a look at air compressors, since I was in the market for one, on the offhand chance Id find a good one. Not only did they have a top quality brand (Quincy) but they had the size I wanted for $300 less than Amazon. I bought it for $70 more than I was going to sound on one from harbor freight and it comes with a 3 year warranty.As a side note for positives of this store, I bring my dog in with me and their not only cool with it but they ask where hes at if I dont bring him with

We were greeted at the door and told exactly where to find what we desired. Another employee was nearby and lead us all the way there! No one pushed us to purchase anything but stayed near as we contacted friends to verify our purchase and the employees were immediately available to unlock cabinets carry items and advised when asked. Service was exceptional. Much better than the store on Dirksen.

In general Im a fan of Farm & Home -West. That is my typical go to place to find more obscure nuts, bolts, and fasteners. My last trip fell just a bit short. Trust me Ill be back and you should go if you have the need but the last visit included a kid (lol probs 20s) who was a little too busy to help and seemed a bit uninterested in my problem. BTW, who knew small rubber o-rings would stump them.

Good selection of merchandise. Clean. Able to find ammunition there at times. Staff pleasant.

Went there for chicken feed yes chicken feed not not slang term for money! The employees know that store like the backs of their hands and theyre extremely helpful. Very well stocked store had no problem getting chicken feed and supplements for the chickens. Due to the fact this is a store that caters mostly to Farmers who for the most part take care of themselves this store is a little bit looser on its covid practices than most others all of the employees wear masks and you still are required to wear a mask coming into the store. If youre new to Springfield or if you just got yourself a horse or if you just built yourself a chicken coop come to these guys they know what to do.

Friendly, good prices, good staff and veterans discounts.Customers include a fair amount of odd ones though.

Staff have always been friendly and helpful any time I shop here. They have a good price on clothes and I usually find things here I didnt initially think about. The firearms department is top notch and their pricing on ammo is hard to beat. I really think the staff here are what makes the difference and they all seem to be trained very well. Kudos

Nice store, I was expecting more of a FS type place, but was pleasantly surprised. Large clothing section and firearm section. Restrooms were clean. Employees were friendly.

You can go to lowes and you can go to menards but guaranteed youll be at farmer home and youll find exactly what youre looking for when you get there they always have what I need

Had exactly what I needed to repair a whole in a loading dock ramp. Easy to find and quick checkout.

A good selection of jeans and work clothes, boots etc. The name of the store describes the vibe perfectly. Lots of patriotic-themed apparel. Go for the giant jean selection. Brand Ariat is featured: high quality cowboy duds.

Came in today to browse. Found a couple items and was checking out. As I was paying, the clerk (some overly chubby 19 yo male) informed one of the items was priced wrong (had a red sticker on it). He never apologized and said well I can definitely tell you its not that price (price the sticker said) and was waiting for me to pay. Once again never said hey Im sorry, someone made a mistake. Wish I had his name but he wasnt wearing a tag but only a dirty looking red shirt. I had the manager come and she looked at the item and said hey Im sorry someone must have put the wrong sticker on it and didnt honor it. I totally understand that. This review is to reflect on the poor customer service the clerk had.

Workers are friendly, and store is well-stocked. Their live plant selection outside is in desperate need of watering, but its all being clearanced off already so they probably dont care.Overall, good store and fine selection. Buy your live plants very early in the season for best results here.
