My experience wasn’t so pleasant. This was my first and last time selling my items there. They didn’t hardly pay out much and the one young lady that was supposed to be “new” gave me an uneasy feeling that she didn’t want to work with me. She wasn’t so “new” with the people who followed behind me, and happened to look different from me. I will say the one young lady that was “showing”her how to do the transaction was nice. When I picked my items up the following day that was pleasant either. I don’t have to be specific, I’ll just find a place that makes me feel more comfortable. There are plenty of other places to go to in Philly and surrounding areas.

This place was gorgeous and a great place to find high end clothes for literally a fraction of the price. The staff is extremely friendly, very helpful. I highly recommend that if you wanna go shopping, go here.

Overall good experience, they have a lot of incentives to continue shopping there. There was a young associate with long lashes that had such a welcoming demeanor. She was not only helpful, but knowledgeable about the questions I was asking and seems to be the only one going out of their way to converse with customers and make them feel comfortable

Lovely shop full of some pretty great deals on clothing, as well as accessories. The store is clean, the staff are friendly, and their stock rotates pretty often so it’s unusual if I can’t find something I like. There’s new stuff for sale there, too- as well as clothing that has never been worn before with tags, etc. Overall, great place to shop.

I walked in there not knowing that they closed in 15 min. The girl behind the counter was awesome. She seen me rushing, told me to take my time and get what I needed. Definitely recommend!

They owe me a paycheck. How do you hire someone and then let them go WITHOUT paying them baffles me. Similar to slave labor.Then you lie and say I never filled out my information when that’s the first thing you do when you get hired. Then the manger lies as if I never called back to apologize and properly ask when I would get my pay check in which she told me I didn’t have to come up there because it would be mailed. So she lied because if I never got proper paperwork why would she tell me that. Please let’s not do this because I’m not afraid to take accountability of what I did and tell the TRUTH. The staff at Clothes mentor are nice but you do have horrible communication skill and it was wrong that you didn’t reach out to me to tell me that my check was there in the first place. If it’s even there.Oh and the only reason why I’m doing this is because I believe in being treated fairly and clearly I wasn’t. No matter how few my hours were I worked my few little hours and deserve to be paid for it.

Horrible business practices. If they were doing business on the streets they would be out of business permanently if you know what I mean. They stole my $585 LV Wallet. They so thirsty they sold it without my acknowledge and never gave me a receipt. It’s back door horrible customer service . I will be contacting an attorney!!!! Stay AWay!!!

Thoroughly inspect the clothing you pick out because some have a smell to them and I even found a cigarette in the pocket of one dress, but that being said, I frequent this store way more than any other secondhand store becauuse of its selection.

I brought clothes here so that they could purchase them and they did not give me enough money for them. I will not try to sell any clothes here again. Not worth it at all!!! The clothes had never been worn, they were brand new!! I bet they sold them for way more than they gave me!! Not cool!!

This is a wonderful 2nd hand clothing store. You can find lots of designer brands at very reasonable prices. The store is organized extremely well which makes it easy to find what youre looking for. They have regular and plus sizes as well as maternity clothes. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. This store offers a very pleasant shopping experience! Definitely check it out!!

I found a shirt on instagram, I called them they were so happy to assist me with finding the items that I need. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. I love shopping at Clothes Mentor! The deals on the clothing are amazing. There is such a great plus sized collection which is hard to find in other second hand shops. The staff is always super friendly and helpful!

They have a great selection of clothes, and a lot of good brands. Ive gotten a lot of items that are from Talbots, Loft, and Anne Taylor (some even had their original tags, so it was great to know they were lightly used). There is also a wide variety of sizes and styles, all super cheap and good quality. Great if you are a student trying to build a professional wardrobe on a budget!

The store is spacious and organized. Found a great white winter vest that I love.. They where having a Labour day sale 20% off .Great prices. My vest cost me less than a pack of cigarettes!!! Glad I dont 🚬

Reviewing the current sales and promotions, letting you know what certain color tags mean and where clearance items are located. They always offer to take my items until I am ready to try on. All of the Clothes Mentor store locations are so neat and organized making each and every visit so welcoming. Great resale finds (practically new) for way less than a department store. I must say that the customer service alone makes my visits so worth the long drive from DE. Shout out to the ladies at the Springfield location are AMAZING!

I dragged my husband in here after getting to the shopping center before the friends we were planning to meet for dinner. After a few eye rolls, hubs quickly changed his tune when he saw the prices on the items that I was grabbing to try on. The salesperson who unlocked the dressing room checked us out. She was friendly, she signed me up for the rewards program, and the other staffers we interacted with during our visit were pleasant as well. There was no hovering but they were all available when needed if we had any questions. Ill be back!

Great store filled with gently used upscale and mid-priced brands. This store is specifically good to shop at because it doesn’t just accept any brand or quality items. So when I shop there, I only have to look through racks of good quality items! The staff there is always nice and the store is always clean and pretty well-organized.

Great concept! Gently used, mostly designer label clothing for women of all sizes and styles. Each time I shop here I find amazing items for a fraction of the retail price. In season and out of season items including shoes, handbags and jewelry. The store staff are friendly enough and they have great sales around major holidays. If looking to sell your clothing, know that everything is not accepted and the payout is not large. I recommend this shop!

I love the selection at this store- there are always great things to try in for every occasion! The employees are great at helping with large amounts of items if you really like to try a lot on (which I do) and then giving advice and tips. Great place to shop!

This one of the best clothing mentors in the area. Best selection different styles for all ages, prices are great, and the staff are always friendly and they greet you as soon as you walk in. They always have some kind of sale going on. I find the best stuff here.

The store is really nice and clean. All the staffs are nice except 1, her name is Princess, Try to stay away from her and talk to other staff. After getting tired of her attitude, I wanted to talk to other worker, but she didnt let me, saying she knows everything. I also saw complaints about her from other peoples reviews in here.

I went on Friday 7/15/16 to the Springfield, PA location. The evaluator/buyer who was Caucasian, short & very slim was arrogant. She said she has been doing her position for three years. When I walked in no one said hello, even though I said hello twice. No help on the floor. The evaluator did not take most items & the items that she wanted was not offering much, I had to decline. Main reason because they are unprofessional, not friendly & seem to look down on certain people. Just because my skin has a beautiful brown natural tan should not mean mistreatment.I graduated college with honors, hold several professional licenses, management position, homeowner, saver, investor, married & have a great household. Therefore, never judge a book by its cover. They need to make some major changes to the staff and they need coaching. I see nothing but bad reviews for this store, I know exactly why!

I think it is poor that you say you bye clothes in good condition I brought in a leather jacket in perfect condition a pair of boots and good Zumba clothed and everything did not meet the criteria. Thats funny because I saw clothes that could be given to goodwill and a pair of shoes with scuffs on the toes. I am not the first person who was turned down at your Springfield location. Will not go in again

This place sells gently used womens clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewelry. They carry everything from low to high end merchandise. You can also sell stuff as well but just make sure its no more than 2 years old and that its still in style. This place is okay if youre willing to go thru racks upon racks of items. You can find a lot of designer stuff at this store that is very affordable i.e Coach, Michael Kors, Express, Ann Taylor, Ralph Lauren, just to name a few.

Clothes Menthor in Springfield PA is great! Their staff is friendly and you can find nice things there.

Ok if youre buying, terrible if your selling. The website says they offer you 1/3 of original price. They offered me $7 for 2 perfect, high end (City Chic and Eloquii), never worn dresses that retailed over $60 each. I wont return or recommend.

Its on top of my list to go shopping for stylish and branded stuff that suits my budget. Their staff are very friendly and always checking on you if you need help. I even recommended it to my relatives.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and very well organized. Clothes are organized by item type (skirts, pants, jackets, etc), then by size and then by color so it makes browsing through items quick and easy.

I have been shopping at the Springfield location for several years on a very regular basis. I have successfully sold & purchased numerous times. I have been generally satisfied until recently. The past 2 times I stopped in on my way home from work & the same staff was working on both occasions. Princess is excessively rude. She was rude the first time, but given my long shopping history, I decided to try again but the second recent visit, was even worse. She was really rude, mumbling under her breath to the other worker. Neither staff person was friendly or helpful. They seemed annoyed, and did not say thank you, etc. I doubt I will ever shop at the Springfield location again. There are other, better options close by with friendly staff, and better selection.

Ok for buying, but TERRIBLE place to sell. First off, while they were rating my items, I was walking around the store and saw an express romper on the rack that I tried selling to them last month and they passed on mine because it was “out of style.” Then, I go to the register to see what offers they are making on my current items. I was told they wanted to give me $9.75 for a brand new pair of UGG moccasins, in the box, with the tags that I spent $100 on. Never tying to sell to them again.

Terrible selling experience. Walked in and was told it would take less than 30 mins to give me an offer. Waited almost an hour for them to tell me they weren’t going to take anything, and they said my clothes had been ready for the last 30 mins. Ummm did you not see me sitting there staring at your for the past hour?! Awful awful service. Better off just donating them.

I only went to this store because the East Norton Store was closing and they told me to go there despite me telling them how the Springfield location provided me with nothing but negative experiences I had in the past with them losing my items.I only went to the East Norriton store out of the ones in the Philly region because the staff were well composed, pleasant, attentive, extremely organized, clean, respectful with the items brought in and paid a fair amount for new with tags items.I decided to give Springfield one final shot and when I arrived I was told that the wait for my items to be Done was no more than one hour as there was only one seller ahead of me upon arrival.I was waiting three hours only to find the girl and Cheyenne were not only putting my items into other buyers bags, but the first buyer was going through the same cases and bags for the third and fourth time. I am not sure how this could be a mistake as the bags and cases were named and numbered for staff to go in order. When I asked if Cheyenne could finish the buy as I was waiting over three hours, she snapped at me all nuerotic like she was just doing drugs in the back room.When I arrived there there were very few people in the store and this was not a busy day for them. Were having a sale was no excuse, as there were four employees in the store at the time and the 12 transactions themselves took less than two minutes each. I asked the rude nasty one, Cheyenne, if she could ask the other manager to come up front so I could express my concerns. Especially being that this store has lost numerous items in the past and the girl sorting (losing) my items was really getting the items lost in the mess of the sellers who came in afterwards belongins behind the counter.I found that I had to stand at the counter as she sorted through the items because it was really getting out of hand with her misplacing the items, getting what she did put back caught in the zippers tearing most of the items in the case, and destroying and opening do not break the seal items.In the past, I have lost 2 Michael Khors shirts and jeans (last visit), & pure silver, and jewelry before. The girl was ripping open the seals on new items. She did this to the all of my makeups and was sticking her fingers in them so that they no longer could legally sold as she has contaminated them with her dirty fingers. I cannot return these items or sell them elsewhere now.After another long wait, the manager came up front without letting me explain what was going on, told me to leave and that I was not able to sell to them anymore. Not that I planned to after that whole nightmare that not only left me frustrated but also two hours late getting home.Go figure, after I was home I found 4 of my $90 and $110 makeup palettes missing from my suitcase, along with 2 high end handbags, 14 pairs of socks, 3 Kate Spade Scarves, and even MORE of my Michael Khors apparel stolen. Over $1,700 in merchandise was no longer in my bags or cases.

I brought in a box of clothes and 2 nice pair of heel sandals. Some of my items was from forever 21, Kardashian and New York n company that I brought last year however, I was told my stuff was older than 2 years...🤔 how about asking the customer when did they purchase the clothes? The majority of stuff in their store is over 2 years.. I am confused about how they are evaluating customers items....

Went today, not busy. What I found uneasy about, how they copy your state ID, before looking at your clothes to buy. After signing and getting the copy...they can use/forward your information to others? HOW CONVENIENT and new and old clothes not brought. Why not check clothing first? HUH!

Ive taken new clothes with price tags on and they offer you $5 or say the clothes are older than two years. Yet, Ive seen some pretty raggy clothes on their hangers.

Ive come to this store a few times and I have to say the clothes mentor in West Chester is by far an amazing experience the customer service is outstanding however here in Springfield clothes mentor it is horrible, only one salesperson greeted us when we walked in, nobody asked if we needed help, and my mom waited a long time in line to be served, she was ignored when she said she was ready the first time. I will not be returning here and I strongly recommend for others to go to west Chester for service there is no bias or prejudice excellent service from everyone.
