Drinks were really good and had very friendly service. I feel like the lite sweetness was still too sweet also mainly tasted just milk for the iced. I got a iced and frozen praline mocha.

I love this little strip of downtown Springfield. After a day of visiting museums and checking out the art scene, a cuppa coffee sounded perfect. The staff is very friendly and quick. The ambience is lovely. And of course the chocolate never fails.

I am a big fan of winans coffee. The last visit the coffee was not hot it was lukewarm and the cup was not fill maybe… 3/4 up. My experiences have been great any other time.

This is a fun and friendly place with delicious coffee. They have great daily specials, large selection of quality chocolate, and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely be returning

Lovely spot for chocolate and coffee, friendly vibe where you can also pick up beans and chocolate covered pretzels and other treats. Good selection of iced and espresso drinks; I tried the matcha lemonade fruit crusher and it hit the spot. Yummy buckeyes, smooth and satisfying interior, and “quiet room” upstairs for co-working. Really cute shelves and decor full of “The Office” stuff, like a Dundy, Dwight Schrute bobblehead, and “World’s Best Boss” mug. Office fans grab a cup here!

Winans is an excellent place to get a treat. I usually go for their coffee; the caramel cream, Dutch almond chocolate and snickerdoodle are my favorites. Their specialty drinks seem a little too sweet for me. But their plain coffee is a hit. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

As expected, the shop is a little pricey, but the White Mocha Peanut Butter frap is AMAZING!

I really liked the lighting in here. I dont know if its just left over from Christmas or the normal lighting but there are white Christmas lights that make the atmosphere great. The two girls working there when we came in were nice and we got some hot chocolate really fast.

Chocolate covered coffee beans are the best

Winans is a great place to stop in and have a cup of great coffee or tea. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Dont forget the chocolates! Fabulous. Great place to pick up gifts of coffee or chocolate.

I love the atmosphere here. They even have a kid-free quiet loft area you can just relax in.As far as drinks go, they have an impressively large selection. Im partial to the iced mocha myself. They also offer drinks without coffee such as smoothies. Theres also some good treats as biscotti, chocolates, cookies, etc.As far as pricing goes, its a little on the high side in my opinion (especially the treats), but it never hurts to spoil yourself or a friend once in awhile. 😉

This place has great coffee drinks and reasonably priced chocolates. I love being able to walk into through the garage door in the front during reasonable weather, and sit and look outside through the open door. The woodworking is spot on! Beautifully constructed locally by indistressco, the owner who has his furniture made next door at stick and stone. Its a beautiful store. I highly recommend this facility

I went in to buy fresh coffee for the first time. The young lady was very helpful and couteous. It is a sunny, nice day and there was an air of HAPPY with the doors opened.Excellent experience.

Just visited this morning... the smell from the sidewalk was so inviting! I just love the atmosphere, cozy and comfortable. I ordered a coffee and it was just perfect, I also bought a very tasty blueberry muffin 😍 I am so happy we have a place like this in our down town and I hope the area continues to grow. I will be a continuing customer and the only reason I have not given a 5 Star is because I have not yet tried the chocolate... but I guarantee I will 😊

Great chocolates and very good coffee!

From the first day, I have loved our new downtown coffee shop! The coffee is the best. I like a robust coffee and, because of health reasons, I can only drink decaf. But I dont feel like I am having to settle with decaf instead of regular at Winans. Really good coffee. And dont get me started on the chocolate! So good!

Wow, this place was very cute with lights strung everywhere. I got a double cappuccino and it was made traditionally which can be hard to find these days. It had a quiet zone upstairs with a fire place for studying and reading. All around a great coffee shop.

This is such a cool place to visit. I went for the first time today. When you walk in it has a cozy yet modern feel to it. The wooden tables and cafe inspired bar one can sit at, which has electrical outlets alongside the bar to charge your phone or laptop, provides a spacious environment for one to sit and chat with friends. The staff was really nice and very helpful helping me decipher what kinds of coffees they had for the drinks. They have music playing in the background which is anything from Rock to pop and even some 80s songs were heard. I was actually impressed with the Acoustics of the building which amplify the music but not so loud that you cant conversate to anybody. It was really kind of a perfect mixture where the music provided a sort of background noise field to it but you could still hear some good Tunes playing.One of the best perks I discovered about this quaint little coffee Bistro was that they also have an amazing selection Im decadent chocolates and cookies. I have to say that while the place itself looks modern in a sophisticated type of way - the prices for their coffees, chocolates, and cookies or not. Everything about this place would make one think that they must emulate Starbucks and their business plan. The only thing they both share is that they serve coffee. Winans coffee, in my opinion, is better tasting and tastes fresh. When it comes to pricing - again it is Winans for the win. If you are in this area, do yourself a favor and stop in and see for yourself. As for me - I will definitely be returning.

This is my favorite place to start the morning ( even though I am trying to quit coffee). I dont know where they find the kids who work behind the counter but they are all so completely wholesome and astonishingly service oriented. The space is magical, the smell of the chocolates is seductive, and the coffee is great. Its a really clever way to provide unusual value and Ill never go anywhere else as long as Im in the area.

I go here at least once a week, usually on Saturday. Love their coffee! Very nice and unique atmosphere to... They have really made the place special. I love when they open thegarage door in the warmer months. Oh and did I mention their chocolates are amazing?? On the expensive side, but delicious!

Great coffee and sweets. The staff almost always seems friendly and kind. The aesthetic is also nice and gives off a peaceful vibe. The only complaint I have and the reason Im not rating it 5 stars is that Ive had my order messed up a couple times before, but other than that I would definitely recommend.

I stopped by here to get my sister something. Typical $5 coffee. She loves it though.I want to start off saying that despite me disliking the place, I absolutely think this place is great for a city like Springfield. I am happy to see a nice place downtown and I hope this business stays successful.First impression--smells awesome! Nice, clean, inviting shop. Unfortunately, thats all I was impressed with. Tiny area for sugar/cream/napkins which didnt look stocked.It got busy almost immediately after we walked in. I wanted to look around, but felt rushed. I didnt see prices for chocolates, except for the ones out on display--which might I add, was very limited. Odd. I love chocolate, so I HAD to try some. I hurried up and picked some from the case because I really wasnt interested in buying a small box... for $10. I knew if I waited much longer, we would be waiting forever. Well. We still waited forever.Staff was nice, but all three looked like chickens running around with their heads cut off. Absolutely no organization. I had to pay twice because I guess she forgot to ring up the candy. More waiting.I got two tiny pieces of chocolate for about a buck. I mean like a super tiny shred of bark, I would have liked a bigger one, like the ones I saw in the case. I didnt care for the peanut butter. I still wonder if Im charged per piece or per ounce. I also received it in like a napkin, every though it was to-go. Im glad I didnt drop them.Please consider wrapping up small servings of chocolates (say a three piece) and putting them on your display for convenience and/or clearly pricing your case of chocolates.

I am not a coffee drinker, but I love the frozen drink options here! The chocolate options are delectable as well. Cant escape without a few buckeyes or truffles...

Excellent coffee and service. I spent a few hours here meeting with new team members, and the environment was great. They even opened the door when the weather got nice!

Its a good place for coffee but most of the varieties are kind of bland. They have specialty drinks but I prefer a strong coffee. Their candies are excellent.

A good place to grab a coffee iced or hot, usually rather quiet with classic rock playing on the radio. The quiet atmosphere makes for a good place to study, read, and strategize.

Its aesthetically pleasing. The beverages are decent. There is an upstairs space that is nice and separated. Its overall quiet upstairs and comfortable. Winans also has good WI-FI.

Winans is probably my favorite business in downtown Springfield. Im a huge fan of coffee and theirs is some of the best Ive ever had. The service there is great too, everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is just amazing. Definitely stop by if you ever find yourself in the area

Heard this place was great. Went in to shop and get a couple coffees. There was one other customer. No one acknowledged me and one employee completely ignored me as she walked by. I left without getting anything. Disappointed.

I had an Americano and some truffles and they were delicious. My wife had a chai and also enjoyed. Fantastic atmosphere! If youre looking for a quiet place to study/work, try the upstairs.

They have some of the best tea in town! Love the matcha green tea and chai lattes! I have yet to try their chocolate, but I would to try some in the future.The service is always great and the baristas are always very helpful and kind.The upstairs is perfect for studying with a cup of hot tea, especially in the winter.Personally, I would not recommend the caramel apple smoothie that is available in the fall.

Just went and ordered coffee for the office, 10 different drinks, most of them complicated, a few coworkers usually get starbucks so they wanted simliar drinks - the girl taking my order knew exactly what to make them - they LOVED their drinks! The girls working were extremely friendly and made my drinks in what seemed like record time!

Love the coffee and mixed drinks. Unlike, oh, Starbucks, the espresso based drinks have a distinct espresso taste as opposed to tasting like diluted coffee (still looking at you, Starbucks). The Java Jolt is the best and it lives up to its name. I work nearby and go there often. The staff has always been friendly and Ive never gotten a drink that wasnt delicious. My only first world gripe is that they should have a Coffee of the Day schedule so Ill know when my favorite flavors are being served. Also, you cant get the Flave of the Day over ice. If you want iced coffee, you have to order their designated flavors, which is more expensive for some reason. Other than that, its all good.

The servers are very friendly. Atmosphere is peaceful. A big plus after working all day in a noisy factory. Just wish they offered small light sandwiches.

Winans NEVER disappoints! If you want a great coffee, tea, smoothie ect. then come here! Also the chocolates and goodies are still made in small batches and like home made.

Winans is a great place for people that like the taste of coffee. I prefer mine frozen and in some places that means its just a caramel milkshake with no taste of coffee, but not here!

I get coffee here at least once a week and very much like the service atmosphere and friendliness of staff. Coffee is good most of the time and made correctly. Only had 1 bad visit out of many which is easy to forgive.
