I have been here once for state inspection and once for water pump replacement. Good experience both times. Very nice people working here.
I used this shop a few years ago when my 89 Town car wouldnt run correctly. The car seemed to misfire when it was cold and nothing would cure it. The engine was literally just replaced with new parts including sensors. The owner of this shop just so happened to be a teacher of mine from OTC. Since myself and nobody else I knew could figure out what the issue was I took it here. They swapped the ECU out (which most people dont consider for this condition) and that cured the issue. The car worked like new again. They definitely went above and beyond checking all systems and wires. They took the time to trace my issues back to the ECU when it could have been 1000 different things in the engine. They are worth the time and money. I would recommend this shop for sure.
Great place, nice people. Always good service.
Id recommend them to anyone . The staff and service was top notch
Great service!!
This is the third bad experience i had with Marcos. close to my house and my business, family run operation. i really wanted it to work out. i wont detail the other two bad experiences. but this morning, i call and ask for an inspection.... they said they can have it done this afternoon, drop it off by 2pm. when i dropped it off, i said to them -- and i qoute -- the only thing that i know it needs is that one of the headlights is out, otherwise im not sure. they say OK, call you when its ready. call comes in about 430 ... vehicle is ready. i bum another ride, get there bout 630. he says im sorry but it failed inspection -- a headlight is out. you can fill in the blanks of the conversation of the next few moments. he said no one told him to fix anything that was wrong. so i finally say ok, just give me the keys. he says that will be $12. i said for what?? its not fixed and its not inspected! he said its $12 pass or fail. i paid. i wont be back. instead of calling to say the car was *done*, he should have called and said needs a bulb (or whatever else it needed to pass), will be $xxx, can have it ready by xxx. who would want to pick up a car that failed inspection without at least being given the option to fix it? isnt that why repair shops do cheap inspections in the first place? to make money on the repairs?
Highly recommend you have them at least confirm what you need fixed next time you need a mechanic. Even if you need to do it yourself its well worth it to find a trusted mechanic to help confirm what needs to be done. They also have hours that allow you to drop off or pickup even if you have a real job.
Took my car on Sunday dropped it off had it ready by five on Monday done a awesome job friendly price was awesome thanks Soo much
We have all had those fears of whenever your vehicle breaks down and you have to find somewhere to take it. Marco was highly recommended by a friend of mine that has been going there for years. I took a chance and instilled my trust in Marco Automotive, I was not disappointed. The customer service, knowledge, price, and fast service will keep me coming here for years to come. The mechanics are honest and trustworthy. Thank you Marco Automotive.
This place charged my freind $170 to do an oil change and check the brakes and fluids. They were told it didnt need any fluids and the brakes were fine. Took this shop 2 days to do a at best 1 hour job. My freinds told them the price seemed very high and they were told to either pay or they would keep the car. Very unprofessional. Wouldnt recommend anyone use this shop ever.
Fair, kep tellin me one day it would be ready, it was ready after about a week later. Fell like i should of got a free oil change cause of that. Instead they wanted to charge me 55.00.
The only place Id take my jeep. Jessica and her crew are the best!
We were in town from Texas for a reunion when the water pump went out on our truck Saturday night. He met the owner when he stopped by the shop on Sunday and told him to bring it over Monday am. We were just close enough we didnt need a tow. So Monday am truck went in, water pump, the battery was discovered to be not holding a charge (6 yrs old so we knew it was time) and a belt was replaced, too. We appreciated the excellent service, quality of work and fair prices. We felt blessed to not have broke down during our 7.5 hour trip to Springfield and confident on our trip home we would have no mechanical issues. Thank you and we highly recommend Marco Automotive!
I have been using Marcos for several years now. They have always provided me with good service at a price if felt was reasonable. They were really busy a few months ago so I took my car to a reputable national chain shop. They gave me an outlandish price, and a list of other things they said needed to be fixed. I decided to wait for Marcos. The other shops diagnoses was wrong so I would have paid $900 for nothing. Marcos took the time to determine it was tire issue. Got the tire replaced and problem solved. Marcos is the only place I will take my vehicles.
Great place to get work done. Got me my car back in one day. Answered all my questions and price wasn’t outrageous for getting a bmw fixed. Thank you guys!!
Always very professional and prompt.Amazing Customer Service, saved me several hundreds of dollars.Has my familys business as well as mine for as long as I live in Missouri.
Great Guys, do good work at honest prices.
The customer service was mediocre at best I took my car to get a simple oil change for them to quote me during the process over the phone after they had the vehicle and then arrive the next day keep in mind just for an oil change and the total was 133 and on the paperwork it was disclosed as $86 for labor . very disappointed in a local shop They didn’t ask anything about the current condition of the vehicle where I had purchased it or what I was wanting to do with it.
Good and honest people
Great place, very knowledgeable, and out going
