Awesome folks. In from out of town, Kevin and his crew got us in and out to check my battery, which I thought it was maybe a problem with my alternator, but they were efficient and professional and very kind. Would definitely recommend Johnson & Johnson!

From the moment I called for my appointment until I picked up my car Carolyn was very professional and worked to accommodate my needs. They provided a vehicle for me to get to and from work. They also let me know if that wasnt available they could get me there themselves. Although I dont live in town, I do believe I will use their services again. This is a great friendly family-owned business. If you love dogs youll love If you love dogs youll love the fact that they have theirs with them in the office !

It took me a long time to find a trustworthy mechanic, but Im so glad I finally did. Kevin Johnson and his crew have integrity and wont try to sell you on things you dont need. Been taking my vehicles there for years and recommend them to everyone. Cant say enough good things about them.

Highly recommend!I called this evening to inquire about availability regarding appointments or walk ins. They are appointment only but asked what issues I was having. I’ve been filling up my tire every day for the past 5 days or so and it goes flat each day. They told me to come by and they’d see me. I was in and out in no time and the owners were so kind and welcoming! Military friendly as well! Definitely coming back here if I need any other work done while in Springfield.

My car broke down in Springfield IL and I had it towed to Johnson & Johnson Auto Services. They were able to work it into their schedule and get it back up and running that day. The price was very fair (they could have taken advantage of the situation since I dont live in the area). If I did live in Springfield, this would be my car repair shop based on my experience. Thank you very much for helping out a stranded motorist.

Kevin and his crew were fantastic! They took me home after I dropped my car off and picked me up when it was done. Kevin called to get an OK before starting any work and to keep me updated on the progress. The charges for the amount of work they did was more than fair. Great experience, i went in there and they showed me up front everything that was wrong with my car. showed me the parts i needed. fair price for how long the mechanic actually had to put into it. people dont understand you dont just pay for the part. they have to order it, get it, and then they put hours into putting the part on. not easy stuff. very reliable place.

I would like to thank the help we got from everyone there at Johnson & johnson during untimely situation with our car. Though they weren’t able to “fix” the issue due to the situation everyone there was extremely helpful. I would like to give a special shout out to the young lady at the front desk who went out of her way to help us during our untimely stop to Chicago.

Really rude people

I was road tripping my way back to Texas when my car died on me on Interstate 55. The tow truck driver was kind enough to take me to 2 other repair shops, that were too busy to help, before Kevin agreed to wait for us and take a look at my Stratus (it was past normal hours). I was able to leave my car there overnight and they got to it first thing in the morning. Turns out it was my my timing belt, which is what I was afraid of. Not having a lot of time or money, I asked if they would be able to get to it and get it fixed by the next day. They were very understanding of the situation and were more than happy to accommodate us. Thankfully they were able to fix it and it only delayed my road trip by a day and a half. They even sent somebody to pick us up from the hotel we were at and brought us back to the shop when the car was ready! For as unfortunate and inconvenient it is to break down in an unfamiliar area, breaking down a few miles from Johnson & Johnson turned out to be best case scenario. Great work and top notch service!

I was driving with my buddy down to Missouri from Champaign IL and we heard a pop and then got some major drag on our rear right tire. We took it here and within 20 minutes they took care of us and found out the back plate of the wheel rusted off and was grinding on the axel so he fixed it and we were on our way. He insisted on no charge since we were a couple of college kids. Amazing service, great atmosphere, friendly helpful service!

Knowledge base or ethics of the place is extremely low.. let me explainwent with my 04 kia cinco with starting hesitation during cold and wet weather. they charged me 50 for diagnosis and said vacuum hose came off .problem persisted and then another $500 for changing plugs, wires and upper gasket. difficult to say whether they did change the gasket.problem persisted and they said probably the injectors need to be replaced.i was tired and took it to kia showroom, where they asked me to drop off it off overnight to check for cold start and they diagnosed instantly that the problem for the ignition coils all along and that solved the year long problem..ON a different note there was a scraping noise from passenger side and they diagnosed it a bearing problem with a 500 estimate.took it CARX next lane and they diagnosed that it was rotor cover that was bent and straightened it before even reporting the issue with me...so its either the lack of knowledge or to fleece customers
