Courteous, knowledgeable, interested in my car and doing a proper job. Good continued contact and follow up.Not inexpensive but you get what you pay for . Wouldn’t take a higher profile foreign vehicle anywhere else.

I’d heard good things about this Springfield shop and brought my Mercedes there. They are quite competent and cost maybe 25% less than a dealer for labor. Of course, you’re not getting that new car loaner here. In their parking lot, I did see Range Rovers, Mercedes, a Rolls Royce, a late model Bentley (being backed out of service bay), a Porsche Cayenne, and other pricey exotics, which implies they know what they’re doing.

They were great. They made a traumatic experience while on vacation a little less stressful. Im grateful. And highly recommend them. I just wish they were in the area in which I live!

We were on vacation (from Chicago) with our Corniche and developed a troubling noise. John immediately got us in, took a look and assured us that we would be OK for the rest of the trip. A HUGE relief and we drove another 1,500 miles to enjoy our vacation. He identified some maintenance work that hell do for us when we ship the car back to him in the winter.

I had been given a Mini Cooper that had some issues, and I had previously read a book by JE Robison in which he mentioned having an independent specialty shop, and it turned out Mini was one of the brands they service, so yay. I was confident it would be worthwhile to drive all the way to Springfield, and it was. My experience of JE Robison Auto Service is that they are very focused on my Mini Cooper Bubbles and take a sincere interest in her long-term wellbeing. I am very picky about who I will interact with, especially about cars, because I communicate differently. Maribeth is attentive, thoughtful, and respectful, and was very capable in communicating my concerns with the shop. Every concern I had about Bubbles was carefully and thoroughly addressed, and they gave me very helpful advice about being especially diligent in checking her oil regularly. I am very confident in the operating condition of my vehicle, and that I will have ongoing support from JE Robison Auto Service in getting the best for and from Bubbles.

I was referred to JE Robison Service to look at my 2005 Bentley Arnage R by Mike with JB Automotive, another Bosch Auto Repair shop I use in St. Petersburg, FL for my Rolls and Jags in the winter months.I talked to John on the telephone and explained that I needed rear suspension work, full 10 year service, gas springs, brakes, windows, etc. He seamed very knowledgeable on the phone, so I had my Bentley towed to his shop in MA from my summer place in RI.John and his team did not let me down! Amazing detailed report of my car, along with pictures.He personally updated on the progress each week, along with photos of the repairs and other areas which needed to be addressed. Robison correctly diagnosed an engine coolant leak on my 2004 Jaguar s-.type as a leak in the radiator.Replaced the radiator successfully.This is the first time I used this service company who treated me in a respectful manner - as they should - and provided reasonable explanation for details on the billing.Probably will go there again if the need arises.

I went there to get a oil leak I had seen when I went to change my oil. So I waited to fix the leak before changing. I told them to fix the oil leak before changing the oil. The reason is because god for bid it was a rear main seal I would have to drain out the oil once again anyways. I get a call that my car is all set I asked if the oil leak was taking care of. I was told to come in for a chat about it. I get there only to be let down. The oil leak was still there and they changed my oil and charged me 790$ lol. So the fact that they took my oil and filter out the car and changed it without fixing my leak and charging me 790$ for a oil change. Will never never never ever go there again. He likes to take advantage of other people that don’t know how to work on vehicles

Had to tow my 2001 Jaguar XKR convertible in because of a no start condition. John (owner) was there when the car was brought in and spoke to me in person about the issue. They found the issue with a corroded / bad connector. It was replaced and I had the car for a couple of days and the same problem happened again. I had it towed in again, and John was very apologetic that he felt the problem was diagnosed correctly, and fixed. It turned out the fuel pumps were pulling slightly elevated current - enough to have the wire go bad in the plug again. They soldered the wire and kept the car for testing for a few more days. All seems good so far. Thanks to John and the Jaguar mechanics for their dilligence.

Very nice shop good people and very well versed in foreign automobile repairs. Took my X5 here after a really torturous run in with dealing with BMW of West Springfields service department and everything has been fine ever sense. The owner is always on site the staff here are pleasant. I had an excellent experience with J. Robison! Even during this pandemic, the owner communicated with me during a lengthy repair. I brought my Range Rover Evoque two three different mechanics, none of which could figure out what was wrong with it. The issue was discovered in one day at this location and although a very difficult electrical fix, it was fixed promptly considering the amount of work it needed.One thing that I really want to vocalize in this review is that John himself would call me and explain everything to me. I find it extremely difficult to understand the mechanisms of a car but he had patience and communicated with me through the entire process. The J. E. Robison staff and John have made this an effortless ordeal for me. While it’s difficult enough to have issues with a car, adding a pandemic only could make things more stressful. They are fairly ok on servicing foreign cars but I believe mercedes isnt their focus. After a bill of over eight thousand dollars I still had a few glitches with the diagnostics and dash lights, after engine swap. Took it to the dealer and the dealer was more pleasant and capable of handling the module programing of the vehicles software. They sell bosch parts not mercedes factory parts. Would recommend for basic service but anything beyond that I go to the dealer.
