I have been using British 4x4 for 7 years and 100,000 miles. They perform all the work on my 2006 Land Rover LR3 and have kept it going on and off the road. I use my Rover as an off road adventure vehicle as well as a daily driver. They are wonderful to work with and are experts on every possible piece of every Land Rover. Their prices are amazing compared to the dealer. Above and Beyond.

We thought our Land Rover was a goner because of the engine. George was very helpful in receiving the new we had found and sent to their shop. This was our first experience with British 4x4 and we are very happy. We took our Land Rover back for an oil change and they were very helpful. They are patient in explaining any issues that may come up in an older vehicle. Its nice to have a shop for a such a special car that you can trust. We are also going to take our 2005 Jaguar there to get serviced.

Dropped my LR4 off after 6 months of ownership. After a bad experience at a dealer in Chantilly, I was looking for an independent LR shop. I was so pleased to find British 4x4 only 5 minutes drive away from my home. They assessed my LR4, and gave me a detailed readout of required work, rationale and pricing. Had a big 75K service done (transfer case/differentials), brake vacuum pump replaced, coolant flush replaced and crossover pipes checked. Parts are under a 12 months or 12K miles warranty. Prices were very reasonable. I can already feel the improvements driving home. Very happy with the excellent experience at British 4x4. Will definitely recommended them and make entrust my LR4 to them again in future.

This business is nothing but a scam. George will tell you they changed whatever it is needed, and your car has never been touched.

The most unprofessional shop I’ve ever been to. I have a Range Rover 2016 that has a water leak (which is very common on 75k miles) because the hose is plastic. I met George and he recommended to change the water pump which I did (June 2021) costed 1500$ after two weeks the coolant level went low again, I went back to him and he changed another coolant outlet pipe and intake Manifold Gask with oil change costed me 1k exactly . After two days from this, coolant level went low again . I went there thought it’s under warranty . He told me we just found out that there is another leak and need to change the following :Coolant outline pipe (2)Intake Plenum Gasket (2)Water outlet plugCoolant (2)Which will cost me another 1500$ . Of course I declined to do this as it ripping off people and took the car for another shop.I also met an old man (Jaguar owner) who experienced the same thing as he visited them 4 times in one month and problem is not solved.I highly don’t don’t recommend anyone to go there.I have all the proofs and documents from them where I share with anyone upon request.

If you want your vehicle fixed right the first time at a reasonable price. I recommended you giving them your business. I had my engine replaced and my steering column replaced and my truck runs like it did when I first bought it. Its a 2004 full size hse range rover. Also the customer service was great also.

Way overpriced and always seems to find 20 things wrong that have nothing to do with why you brought your vehicle in for.

Many experiences with my 2003 Rover bought used and British 4 x 4 has been outstanding and diagnosing problems and future problems. Cost is reasonable and they have an 20 year experienced rover mechanic. Would recommend to any rover owners as a place to build a long lasting relationship for you and your rover.

Outstanding work at very reasonable prices. I will never go to my (now former) Range Rover dealer again. Jace and his team saved me much money and spared me the aggravation of dealing with the dealers service writers who knew very little about Rovers except to say a mechanic had to diagnose the problem. Great service, communications and courtesy. Highly recommended.

July 2018 - I brought in my 2012 RR HSE and got it back the same day. Royce and Coco (technician) called me by the afternoon to walk me through what they had tested and were honest about their diagnosis and automatically and shared what they could to save me from investing too much time and money. Their information was honest and above and beyond. Both are very knowledgeable and experienced with LR, I learned so much about my vehicle. I will definitely trust British 4x4 to service my RR again.

I brought in my 2008 Range Rover to British 4x4 to have a trailer wiring harness kit installed. This required not only the install but also for the computer to be re-programmed. British 4x4 had the job done within a few hours. Drop off at 1PM pickup at 6PM. After hooking it up to a trailer, the wiring kit was installed flawlessly. I was most impressed by the customer service. The staff was friendly and they go above and beyond to reach out afterwards to make sure everything went well with the service. Ill be taking my Range Rover to British 4x4 for everything!

This is my second time visiting British 4X4. The first visit was great but my last experience was not enjoyable and in fact was the worst service that Ive experienced ever in my life and Ill explain why in this review. Over 2 months ago I picked up my 1992 Land Rover Defender from British 4x4. My Defender has been completely restored including a premium paint job. Im a federal law enforcement agent and military veteran. I lived in South Africa for three years serving as a U.S. Diplomat providing security for our U.S. government officials and facilities. I purchased my Defender and it was exported to the U.S. with an appraisal over $75,000.When my vehicle was completed, I paid George and he drove the vehicle to me. Before I departed, I did an full inspection of the vehicle and noticed that there were dirt and greasy smug marks on the drivers door and hood. I asked George why was my vehicle returned to me in that condition as I was given completely clean. George said that because of COVID the companys policy was not to wash the vehicles. I told him that doesnt make any sense as how washing a vehicle could be a COVID concern. Then George lifted up his shirt and was about to wipe the vehicle with his t-shirt. I told him not to do that as that is not the proper way to remove the dirty grease. Then I noticed a large scratch on my hood. I told that I know my vehicle inside out and its always garage kept with a cover. He told me that it was already there prior to the service and as a policy he takes pictures once he accepts vehicles for service. I asked him to show me the pictures and he said that he was busy and he would send them the next day. Which he did not. Also, on the inside of the vehicle was a service tag left inside.George never called and I began calling him. About two weeks later he sent the photo of my vehicle in the shop. The photo clearly showed no scratches on the hood, so therefore I was correct. George then said that he was going to get an estimate from his auto painter. After I called numerous times and he told me to bring the vehicle to the shop so it could be painted. I told him that I lived an hour away and he should make arrangements to pick it up. George didnt call me, so a few days later I called for an update. He then said that he would send a check in the mail the next day. Two weeks passed and no check, so I called again and he said now I needed to fill out a form. I told him why didnt you ever call to inform me of that. Over two months passed and I said to reverse charges on my credit card or send it by Paypal. He said again I needed to complete a form. I told him that I made the obligation to pay my debt on time and the company should also. I demanded that the owner Jace contact me immediately as its apparent that George wasnt providing any solutions in a timely manner. No call from Jace so I called George the next day and he said that Jace was sick and would call me. Not acceptable. If George informed Jace, then even a simple call to me from Jace saying that he got my message would have put me at ease.Over the two months I left messages at least 15 times asking the owner to contact me. I personally asked George 9 times to have Jace to call me. I was always given the excuse that Jace wasnt in the office or busy. This is no way to treat any customer. Therefore Jace contact me immediately since I believe that George isnt providing you my request to speak with me. If he has informed you then thats another problem. Last year I asked to talk to Jace and I was connected seconds later.Jace contact me as you need to be aware of how George is treating me.Update. Jace contacted me the same day of this post. His mother promised me that she would call me on Friday, July 10th and she never did.

They really do a superb job here. As we know from owning land rovers that they can be very mysterious when it comes to needing repairs. Debbie, Jace and the rest of their team are amazing. Their master tech Juan has a lot of experience and not only knows what to look for but he can knock out the task quick and nails it. This shop guarantees their work which is something Ive never experienced with a mechanic. I highly reccomend taking your Land Rover here. I have a 2006 LR3 with 130k miles. This shop lives up to the Land Rover credo of going above and beyond.

I took my 07 Range Rover into British 4x4 to do the brakes. I told Juan the mechanic to call me if its over $2000. When I came to pick it up my entire bill was only $715. Turns out I did not need the rear brakes that I was told by another place I needed, just the front. I trust these guys. I have never had service this good and will be a returning customer!

The professionalism I encountered when I first contacted George at British 4 x 4 was refreshing! He was cordial & attentive to my concerns. Upon delivering my Range Rover Sport to the facility, I was greeted by George where we further discussed potential repairs! The work started and I was very delighted with the results. I am very familiar with my vehicle and I could immediately tell the difference upon driving it home that same day. I also discovered that Jace Harrill was the technician who serviced my vehicle ( new rotors & pads for front & rear brakes). The small gift bag with 2 homemade chocolate chip cookies & a small note from Jace was an unexpected delight & a very classy touch to my overall experience! Thank you for doing such an outstanding job on my brakes!Myrna Meshew
