I just happen to see Auto Star Body Shop while shopping in the Springfield, VA area, and decided to get a quote to have my front and rear bumpers re-painted. The Shop was very clean from the door to the customer business office. The Staff(Everyone), I encountered while there was extremely professional and warm. I was taken care of immediately, and on my way with estimate in hand within 15 minutes.I returned 2 weeks later to drop my car off, to have the work done. Again I was met with the same exceptional customer service.I was promised to have my car back in two days. The body shop deliver my car as promised. I was surprised by the turn around, but even more impressed by the level of attention to detail in the work they did on my car. Outstanding!I highly recommend this shop based on their benchmark customer service, price, and attention to detail!

Mike and Harry have this body shop dialed! Very professional, timely, and detail oriented work. Mike went out of his way to buff off some headlight haze that wasnt even part of the repair. They returned my car in better condition than before it was hit.

Dropped off Tahoe to have rear tail gate repainted around the lock as the paint was peeling...went to pick up the vehicle and the rear tailgate open light was on and would not go off...this had Never been an issue prior to this...took the vehicle back for them to look at...said the rear tailgate light relay was bad and needed replacing to the tune of $350.00. Tried to tell us we would be getting a bargain as the Real price of the part was over $400...hmmm...a bargain to fix something that was not broken before they worked on it... Now will need a trip to our regular mechanic...would NOT recommend them to anyone!!!

I came here with my friend to buff out a scratch on her car. The two mechanics that came out were absolutely wonderful people. They buffed it out in under 5 minutes and were very friendly the entire time. I would highly recommend Auto Star to anyone.

Very strong work! I had another person attempt the repair and it was totally done wrong. Mike not only made the car good as new, but did it at a fair price. I am taking my wifes car back next week for bumper repair. They also did some paint touch-ups just because they noticed them. This shop is good, use it!

I took my car to Auto Star for an estimate after a small accident. I had the opportunity to talk to Mike and Mike was very understanding and he was able to work within my budget to provide a great service. His team completed the job within the timeframe. Mike was able to go out of his way to fix other issues, like I had a foggy headlight @ no charge and also took care of small dents and scratches. I was really pleased with the way Mike handled the whole transaction. I was confident that I was in good hands and I trusted Mike all the way through. Brought my fleet vehicle in and they were very helpful and on time. They work closely with the local enterprise rental car which made it much easier for me once I dropped off the car. The car got worked on for one day and went in to pick it up the next day. This is a small business that is worth supporting as the owner is passionate about customer service from the first phone call to the last.

I just had a minor front end collision repaired at this shop. They were quick, very friendly, did a great job, and all of this at a very good price. I am not sure what else one could ask for. I would definitely go back again...if I have another accident that is.

I had small scratches on the front bumper of my new car. I wanted it to be repaired by a professional. I went to Auto Star Auto Body and met with Mike. He quoted a reasonable price and said that the job would take a day. The job was completed in a day as promised and it looked very good. That same day that I picked up my car, I asked Mike to take a look at one of my relatives car where it had scratches on the door. He said all the door needed was to be cleaned and touched up paint which was done in five minutes. I really appreciate Mikes honesty and willing to fix a very minor problem free of charge. Other auto body shops would have likely quoted a high price to repair the door and not offer to touch it up. If anyone needs body work done to their car, I recommend taking it to Auto Star Auto Body. Just ask for Mike.

Auto Star is a very approachable shop; we had two fenders realigned.Dropped it off after hours on a Sunday, picked it up Monday afternoon.Mike was very helpful and accommodating, cant recommend him highly enough. Love giving business to family-owned shops, labor rates were reasonable and very happy with the result. Slight problem with billing due to use of a Groupon, but Mike followed up and resolved the problem on his own time.Highly recommend.

Buyer beware- I took my car here for a full paint job, Mike convinced me to only do the front end and get the rest of the vehicle detailed- cool, save me some $$$. I drop the car off with necessary repair parts, two days later I get a call that somehow a new part qas broken out of the box... sounds fishy but whatever.. Day 5 I go to pick the vehicle up, the owner isnt there- they did not repair the dents on the passenger fender, they simply repainted over it, next- they didnt realign the front bumper back to factory specs, lastly- they didnt align the new headlights that were replaced, so now the beam is pointing to the sky... Spoke with owner on the phone, he says he was unaware of any body work to be done, nothing to say about the headlights or misalignment on the bumper. I chose this place based off of the reviews, perhaps they are excellent for insurance work where they HAVE to repair to certain standard, but if you self-pay as I did, please think twice and ask about any assumptions you have regarding the repair of your vehicle. Needless to say, Im back at square one; going to the dealership to get it done right. I would not reccomend anyone to this business, nor will I be returning.

Great shop helped me when I shared paint with another vehicle.

I had a problem with the bumper on a Saturn L-300. Basically poor design and damage from an old accident that was repaired by another shop in the Springfield area. Took it into Auto Star. Repaired in four days for a lot less than the other shop did under insurance. Family owner an one of the family is always on site. Im getting ready to have them do more work, this time under insurance. Their initial estimate is lower and faster than the official estimator shop of the insurance company.

The service was great and Mike was a delight to work with. It was well worth the travel!!!

I have a worst experience taking my car for body and paint work to Auto Star autobody. The management who work their are all unreliable, lier and fraud. The manager Mike Balian assured me that he will fixed my car for all scratches and repairs for an agreed price. When I went there to pick my car non of the scratches was fixed only the major repair was done. I ask Mike why you didnt fix the scratches you told me you will fix for me. He told me if you want to fix the scratches you will have to pay another $500.00. He lyed to me just to get the business, this is how they get their business. I will never go to this shop again they are lier and hussler. I will never recomend to any one to take thier car to this shop for any kind of work. The management dont care about customers satisfaction. They are so mean that they were holding my car keys till they forced me to sign credit card receipt.
