Stopped by to take a look at a helmet. large showroom with friendly staff. Best place around for miles, though I would recommend you research the products your looking for before you stop by. Lots of options on the helmet wall but only in a few sizes so you see what you get. Ended up picking up a Bell, seems a decent helmet and am happy with it. Wont be able to find everything Im looking for there but I will be stopping by again.

Went there to grab a few things for my motorcycle. Things you would think a normal Powersport shop would have i.e. tank pads, bar ends, fork seal cleaners. They had nothing due to it being “hard to get”. Rode 20 minutes up the road and got everything I needed. Also stood at the parts counter while 4 employees goofed off and ignored me. Place is a joke.

Done trying to order parts from here.Ive had 3 orders and all three had been wrong. This last go round, ordered parts for a Honda. Complete engine rebuild kit. Well the piston that came was for a Suzuki and looks like a brake piston rebuild kit. Until parts were delivered and after Id ordered and been waiting for a month I was told the crank assembly is no longer available. Which I would have brought parts from eBay.... Going to look at different avenues for parts. The staff is polite and easy to work with on issues but just too many issues to try to work on equipment reliably and in a timely manner.

I was told by Ride 1 Powersports that my 2006 Honda was too old of a bike to work on. How is that even possible to have a service shop who cannot change tires on a bike that is a 2006 Honda. Its not like we are talking about a 1940 Indian or anything. I was told I would have to take the wheels off myself if I wanted them to change the tires. Needless to say this shop is worthless I guess unless your bike is only a year or two old because a 2006 is way to old for this shop. My God a 15 year old bike being too old is laughable.

Last spring I made a couple of accessory purchases. I had an employee who was helpful in the purchase. This purchase gave me some loyalty points and since they were going to expire soon I made a trip (80 miles one way) to the store to cash them in on a purchase of an oil change kit. I checked the price of the kit at another dealer prior to going to the store. If I did not have the loyalty points to use I would have walked out. Their price was $20 higher than the other dealer. When I brought it to the attention of the employee he could not have cared less. So, lesson learned.UPDATE: the next day after posting this review I was contacted by the dealership representative. The conversation was good with assurances that the problem is being addressed. I felt that the concern over my issue was genuine. Based upon their follow-up I would consider visiting again. Thank you M.

In the side of the tire are two washer/spacers and one I couldn’t get out so I left it in there. when my tire was picked up the spacer was gone and because they said they didn’t see one and couldn’t find one when they looked basically I was out of luck and had to replace it myself. I was not trying to get a free spacer out of them and I am sure they don’t cost so much that they couldn’t replace it. I knew it was in their I tried pulling it out myself beforehand. Greatly appreciate Chad and everything he did to keep me and make me satisfied. Made me feel welcome to come back in and shop as well. At the end of the day, I WANT to keep my money local and he definitely did everything in his power to keep it within his company. Buying from Ride 1 was an ok experience. The service department however will not do their jobs properly. My bike was in two times for a rear brake issue both were covered under my factory Ducati warrenty. However on the second time they did not completely tighten the bolts on my rear brake caliper which almost caused one of my friends to almost wreck while at 75 MPH on the highway. They did come pick up the bike and trade parts off of another bike, which is their obligation because it was their fault, but to everything else that happened their response.....oh were sorry I guess. Never ever go buy a bike or have it serviced their if you like your life or motorcycle.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life buying something. Bought a brand new unit in December a 2020 Sportsman Highlifter 850. I wanted a “fast snorkeled” quad. I was able to test drive in a 1 acre field it was a sweet bike so I took it with a $1,200 extended warranty plan. When I got home I realized it was governed to 50mph, wasn’t told to me before or I never would have bought it. I was told by a salesman it goes 70mph or faster had power steering and was one of the sweetest bikes out....I came back with the bike one week later to cancel my extended warranty (which I couldn’t do over the phone and I live an hour away) guy to cancel extended warranty wasn’t in the office that day so I left my bike and made a trip back the next day to cancel it (would have been cool if they told me he wasn’t there when I called that morning telling them I wanted to cancel it and they said I had to come in) and to figure out if I could get a different bike or make this one not slow. After arguing back and forth and basically being told to kick rocks the manager there made a reasonable offer in my opinion; they would flash the ECU and change out a component in the clutch to give me more top end better throttle response etc... This would also void my factory warranty. I didn’t even care I just wanted a quad that could go faster than my $200 Chinese pit bike, so we signed a deal basically releasing them from any liability, a month goes by and after calling back and forth my quad is finally ready. It seems more peppy top speed is now 54mph (lol) also realized the bike never had power steering which I had never been one a quad that did and it felt smooth to me so I wouldn’t know.So that sucks but whatever, guess I needed to do my research and be more knowledgeable rather than trust a salesman at a power sports dealer. Outside of that, my extended warranty that I cancelled in the middle of December a week after buying the quad which was suppose to be reimbursed “in a week or so” (according to the dude there) it is now the middle of freaking March and I am being told “the check is on the way” for the second time in mid February I was told the same thing... total nightmare I’m sure it’s an isolated situation and I just had a rough experience, but good grief literally the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life buying something never the less something brand new.Blatantly lied to multiple times from every level except the service department, service department there was super honest and actually sympathetic to my situation. They have tons of inventory and a good selection of stuff, but my advice would be to do all your own research and don’t trust what the salesman have to say about any of the units. It’s not the salesmans fault either they should be properly trained by management instead of thrown on a floor and told good luck on a commission salary. As a matter of fact the manager there actually told me “this guy is new and it’s hard to find good help” it’s like good grief dude 😂 I spent like $13,000 here I wish i knew that before getting slammed into something.

As I headed for the door wouldn’t you know, the same employee that was too busy talking approached me. His name was Codi with an i. Gave him the low down and expressed my distaste in customer service. This guy had the audacity to say I never indicated I needed help. Sales department is great. Everyone inside is very helpful, willing to make a deal, and the dont pressure you into buying things you dont want or need. If you buy a bike there, theyll give you a 10% discount on almost everything you buy for the first year (even though they claim only parts and accessories). If I change to another bike, I would definitely return to this sales team. The service department, on the other hand, is terrible. When I brought my bike in for my first service, I found that my appointment had been canceled even though I brought the bike in when I said I was going to. They squeezed me in in an attempt to right their wrong, and took much more time than they originally told me to do the service. After changing the oil for the first time myself after the original service (second time for the bike), I found that the service department had over-torqued the oil filter. I had to completely disassemble the side of the bike in order to have enough room to get enough torque from a 2 foot- long cheater bar just to make it budge. What should have been a 30 minute project ended up taking several hours due to this inconvenience.Bottom line; sales good, service bad. Id rather drive across the country to find a reputable service department than to take it to Ohio Motorcycle.

The first thing you will notice as you walk in that the bikes are very organized with some bikes having their own section, if you want a crotch rocket, aka sport and super sport bike, you go and look at that dedicated section, you want a cruising bike, you go to that dedicated section, you a touring bike, you go to that dedicated section, overall, ride 1 Powersports has a well organized area. The plus side about ride 1 Powersports, the staff there are great people to talk with about bikes even if you cant ride just yet, you kind of get to know them a little bit and be friends with the staff. I got heated grips installed here. Overall, they did an okay job. First, I was quoted for 120 (60 per hr labor rate) over the phone. Then when I finally got the chance to bring my bike in, I got quoted for 240.. of course I complained immediate and they were able to lower it to 184. Lesson learned, have them make an official quote on paper if when do it over the phone. Lastly, one of my end bar is missing an internal piece that keeps it in place and tight. I will be calling to ask about that soon and well see what they say.Update: They followed up with me and want to resolve the bar end issue. Seems like they genuinely do care about what theyre customer thinks of their services or most likely the google review. I returned to the shop and they replaced it new parts thats supposedly the OEM parts, however they were not because it didnt fit right. I still took it since I needed a quick fix.The missing internal parts wasnt this dealership fault. But it should have been addressed to me when the service department initially found out about the missing parts considering it was basically brand new. Not me finding out for myself when I was replacing the bar end.(Update: Two months after initial service) The service manager here only cares about the rating and not the actual service provided. After the last call with the manager and asking if he ordered the parts I needed, he was very hesitant to provide service because I gave them a 3/5 rating. Definitely not doing any business here in the future. Downgraded.

Even if youre from Dayton or Columbus, its worth the drive to Springfield Ohio! I had already decided on which bike I wanted... Time from walk in to walk out for the purchase... 3 hours. My one star reflects my experience with the service department.I had them pick up my bike and the driver forgot the ramp for the trailer, turns out he was the mechanic. I got the call to pick it up and rode it home. Something didnt seem right. I was not able to take it back due to multiply deaths in the family. My fault the bike sat for a while. After I recovered from the losses, I first called the shop manager and asked for him to pick up again and mentioned that it wasnt running again, and would he work with me on the repairs. For the record I did not expect he do anything for free and I said so. He was quite rude and offered no assistance. He did say he would call when there was a driver available. I never heard back from him.I started to look into the repairs myself and discovered some minor errors which led me to lose confidence in their shop. They did a carb rebuild and it just didnt seem to have any power, the battery and the seat were not installed properly. The parts guy has been helpful, buy I wont go back to the service department.

We walked in knowing what we wanted. From start to finish we were there for and hour and 15 minutes. Everyone from our sales rep, finance manager, and lot tech were knowledgable and professional. Awesome experience all around. Will definitely recommend to friends and family, and be back for future purchases.

Our salesman Brandon and the sales manager Rick were both excellent. A friend of mine and I went there looking for a couple of Groms and they made the process easy. Gave us a great deal and we were in and out in no time. Good selection of motorcycles and atvs, definitely recommend these guys.

Fleeced on a 12k Service. Told one price on phone and charged another at shop. Was charged over $400 more than what a friend paid for same service in California...seriously? It costs more in Hilliard? Shady place also lied to me about the availability of BMW gloves. Would ride 3 hours before I used this place again. Cant be trusted. $870+ for a 12k service for a BMW F bike. Can you say FLEECED!? Stay AWAY!

First time dealing with Ride 1 Powersports the other day, and it was a great experience. Walked in and was greeted by salesman Jim Addy, a very nice guy. I told him I was looking for a Polaris RZR. He showed me what he had in stock and what he could order in and all the deals they had to offer on the 2018 and 2019 RZR’s. After a short time I had one picked out and it didn’t take long after that and I was on my way home with my new RZR. I would definitely recommend Ride 1 Powersports to anyone in the market to purchase a new toy. They have a huge selection to choose from, and if they don’t have in stock they can get it. This place is fair and honest and I will definitely do future business with these guys.

Timely and exceptional high level of professional service! Worked with me on getting my Aprilia across the country - great flexibility and trust, doing the deal all via email, text, phone, and some express shipping of documents. Moreover, the Aprilia Caponord 1200 was SPOTLESS - exactly as advertised and represented, at a great deal!Would do business with Brody and the team at Ride 1 Powersports again anytime, with confidence!

I have been debating about this review. I have been searching for a new toy for my family. So I have alot of questions.. I searched online trying to stay within our budget. I found one online at a trader ATV site. When I called in I was quoted a much higher price then online. When i told the man what the price was online he acted like he didnt believe me. I gave him the web site and I felt like he was annoyed by my even calling. Yes I had many questions after he told me the price was wrong and they dont list them on the site another company lists the ads for them and must have made a mistake. I was taken back because the other stores I had called explained to me that the online pricing was competitive bottom dollar pricing. But this man insisted it was an error. (Ok fine). So when I asked what is the bottom dollar out the door I felt he didnt want to deal with me again. I asked what fees there were because I have read about other fees than tax and title. He then HUNG UP ON ME! I was beyond shocked. Yes I am asking questions because I was wanting to purchase a utv from you... its a big purchase... I did not call back.. i wish it would have worked out differently.. back to square one for me and finding something else. I wish I would have been taken seriously.

Horrible service department. Took a 2014 4-wheeler in May 31 amd were told it would be ready by June 7th. Finally went in July 26th and picked it up still broken...actually rund worse then when we brought it in.The service department NEVER called us to update us on the status. Everytime we wanted an update we had to call them and we just got the run around. Finally we were told we should call Honda ourselves to see whats wrong with it.Horrible customer service. I will never take something else here to be repaired.

$110 an hour for labor at service department....beware!Followed up 7 months from my original review just to check other reviews. ALL negative reviews (1-2 stars) come from parts and service. Heads up owners/management. these reviews are the 1st things people look for before they go spend 20k on a bike at your store. Your a 3.8 star avg theres a reason. Virtually every other motorcycle dealer in Dayton and Columbus is 4.4.-4.8 star...Take a look before u lose all your customers. Spfld needs the jobs.
