AAMCO was great to work with. I was having issues with my 85 Chevy truck and they went to great lengths to diagnose the issue. They kept it over a week at my request, drove it and tried to find the issue. The transmission ended up being fine and they put more than a couple hours into this. Never charged me for any of the work. I am not rating them 5 starts because they did not charge me. Every person i have talked to there has been pleasant and very helpful. Been other other Transmission places in Rogers with horrible experiences. Highly recommend them for their honesty and helpfulness.

Beware....These people are not very professional. I rented a uhall trailer just so I could take my sons truck to this place to have the transmission timed after installing a rebuilt one. We dropped it off, the man at the front desk said that they were busy and that it would take a few days till they could get it in and he said that they would call me when it was finished.1 week passes and I never heard back from the people so I called them back. I was told that they still had not been able to looked at it and that it would be looked at the next day and They promised that when they fixed it they would call me and let me know. Another week went by so I called them again. I was told again that they still have not got to look at it. This time they promised me big time that it would be in the shop the next morning.This time I called two days later only then to be told that they still have not put the truck in the mechanics bay because the mechanics broke his tool that is required to time the transmission and it would be a week before he would get a new tool.So I told them to forget it and Id be down to pick up the truck.Now I Had to rent another u haul trailer to pick it up.The story continues!I show up to pick up the truck just to find out they lost the keys to the truck. I had to wait over an hour for the people to figure out were the keys to the truck was.But what ticked me off was....Not one of them really apologized, and during the whole time they were somewhat rude, like I was putting them out.Dont take your car to these people!....their morons!

Heard these guys were ethical and honest and they lived up to the hype. I asked three locals and all three referred me to this business. Took our high mileage, teen driven car to them for diagnostic work. They had a great opportunity to take advantage of us, but instead they did the opposite. No charge for work they did! Unbelievable customer service experience. This team and this location will be getting my business moving forward. We were so impressed, we bought them lunch. Felt it was the right thing to do. I would strongly suggest you work with these guys. I do not work for them. I didnt know them prior to our recent acquisition.

Way over priced call around I got same work done for half the price and got a 2 day turn around instead of a week

I had a truck that had a bad torque converter and needed one ASAP. I called Aamco in Springdale and was able to get a stock converter immediately. I called two other places without luck. Grateful! Will recommend to others. Thank you!

I had been having a terrible, horrible, rotten, very bad day. I had waited at Walmart four hours and they didn’t even check my transmission, even though I was assured that they were capable. I was referred here. I called and Shelby was a doll. Andrew checked out my tranny and a/c and I was treated so graciously! I’m coming back here every time. Awesome service! A1.

So far, not so good. Took my 2005 Accord in for a tranny rebuild on Monday, 6/18. Was told that it would most likely be an all week job, but may be ready on Thursday. I communicated throughout the week to get updates. When I went to pick up the car on Friday the 22nd it was not ready. I was told that the part supplier did not send some of the needed parts because the individual who normally puts together the re-build package was out. The fill in person did not send some of the components that AAMCO needed. That added some of the delay. Then, when taking the car for a test drive at around 5 PM on Friday, the tech discovered it wouldnt shift into gear. They discovered the wrong torque converter was sent by the parts supplier. The wrong converter fit fine, it just didnt work. So I would be leaving the car over the weekend. Fast forward to today - AAMCO has ordered the correct torque converter, which arrives 6/26, but now they have noticed a noise that they need to investigate. Basically, they will need to open up the re-built tranny to inspect it. If something got messed up due to the wrong converter being installed, then additional parts may be needed. They wont know until tomorrow. Very best case scenario is that it will be ready tomorrow or Wednesday. Worst case is the end of the week or later. 2 weeks for a tranny rebuild makes me reluctant to recommend this shop.
