The MOD (DEBBIE) assisted myself and my sister she was not rude or mean but her deliverance was in question to me, my sister arrived first and she felt she was awesome. I do know she loves her job and seniority! I could have just pulled up at a bad time. Other than that the location is clean, friendly, and always happy!!! The other staff was very happy and working hard!!! If Im misinterpreting then I will correct my rating...

The inside staff was rude. I walked in to pick-up my online order, which wasn’t ready, and the gentleman at the counter decided to sit there and finish his conversation with this co-worker. I wasn’t greeted or anything. He looks at me and says, “Yes?” SoI tell him I’m there to pick up my order. It took him 10 mins to pull up my order and he dragged his feet to collect the 14 boxes I ordered. WOW. He set them all next to the door and said, “there you go” and walked away. I’d recommend going to a different uhaul location. TERRIBLE customer service.

I give 4-stars because of my overall experience but I felt compelled to write an honest review for the person who went above and beyond throughout my participation in their Ubox service. Full disclosure: the entire service delivered my box 13-days late (but I received the $50 per day reimbursement no problem).Christina, the GM and clearly the most knowledgable at this location, is a superb manager who was able to explain to me the delays I was experiencing with my Ubox delivery. Let me go through my journey:- Dropped off and had a 3rd party movers come and package my stuff into the Ubox container: 5 stars- Went to pick-up the Ubox day it was supposed to arrive but they did not know where it was, but this is where Christina explained the entire process of how Uhaul works with a 3rd party shipper who did not report a drop it off yet: 5 star service, 2-stars for anxiety- I called back 1, 2 and 5 days apart (actually) and each time, Christina picked up and was super patient and simply explained it was out of her hands but that my box would not be lost: 5-star service, 2-stars for anxiety still- The day it arrived, I received an email and Christina called VERY shortly after I got the email and said she was going to deliver it to my house, the SAME DAY, and it came, as promised! 5-stars- Reimbursement was a cinch for late delivery: 5-starsAll-in-all, I would do this service again because I now have a better understanding of expectations, especially during COVID where theres a lack of workers and delivery delays across all industries. Christina was the reason I even decided to write a review and if you went into the office to see how she operates and how her colleagues rely on her for answering phones, questions and problems, you would easily know she runs the show. Thanks for keeping my anxiety to a minimum and getting my Ubox to me, with my refund as promised!

A long line greeted me and the other customers once we arrived on a Sunday morning in July. However, once I got to the front of the line a very nice lady (just got her 5 year pin) made me forget about the line. She even apologized for the wait multiple times. She was very helpful!Once I got outside to pickup my equipment, there was an incredibly helpful gentleman (Renee) that went above and beyond helping me with the trailer and moving supplies I had preordered. He realized I didn’t have the right wiring adapter and helped me get the right one. Then he noticed some grass in my trailer so he swept it out and even mopped it! This guy was awesome. This is the cleanest trailer I have ever rented. In spite of their stressful, busy day and 100+ temps the uhaul crew at Spring Cypress and I-45 were at the top of their game. The wait to checkin was the only draw back, but I think it’s just a very busy time of year for moving. I would also recommend this location because they seemed to have the most equipment to chose from.

Absolutely a nightmare to deal with. We were suppose to receive our boxes on 6/10, we called around 1pm to see where our boxes were. We were told they would arrive by 4pm. After 4pm we called again to find out they have been calling a number that was not on our reservation number. They were finally delivered on 6/11. Since 6/12, the boxes have been sitting at this site and our gaurenteed delivery date keeps continually getting pushed back from 6/26 to 6/30 to 7/1 to 7/2 to 7/4. We have spoken to the Customer Service representative manager. No improvements in our situation.

Never ship a ubox here, they keep billing you monthly even after youve returned the unit empty and ended the service agreement. They also fight the bank when you try to have the charge refunded causing nothing but headaches. Would leave 0 star review if it was possible

I waited in line to get propane, then waited in a much longer line to pay. The person who filled my tanks should have brought me inside to pay as soon as the tanks were filled rather than putting me to the back of rhe line. Also, when its busy, have at least one person working on retail items to help clear out customers. Rentals take time and when you have all 3 cashiers working on rentals you have customers like me waiting 30+ minutes to pay for something I already waited in line to get. I saw people buying hitches, boxes and misc stuff waiting as 3 cashiers worked on rentals and the associated paperwork and questions that go with that. Propane is good, at least they fill the tanks but I have better things to do rather than be here for an hour to get a tank filled.

On 2/6 around 9am I spoke to Deputy Pegam and was informed that my storage unit was broken into. She then asked me to describe some items (military uniforms) and confirmed it was my property.I arrived at the facility around 330pm where I spoke to the manager Milton. He informed me that 2 people were living in 2 separate units, they were climbing over the walls into the adjoining units and taking items.The manager and I walked to my unit to take inventory of my items. We then found that the lock on my unit had been switched and I was no longer able to access it. He then proceeded to cut the locking mechanism of my unit so I could access it. Once I accessed my unit I realized the following items were missing:Entertainment center - $150Breakfast table/chairs - $65Coffee maker - $40Toaster - $20Memory chest - $75Sewing machine - $120These are just the larger items I could easily notice were missing. I have several boxes filled with kitchen supplies/utensils, art supplies and other personal effects.Most of these items are no small enough to fit through the 10-12 gap that the manager is claiming they were getting through.I have also given a copy of the missing items to Deputy Pegam and Deputy Bloomfield.Before I left the property the manager asked me to wait so he could fix my locking mechanism, so I waited at the office for 10-15 before he brought me the keys to my new lock stating everything was taken care of.When I returned on 2/9 to take inventory of my unit, I found that my locking mechanism had not been fixed. The same one that he cut was still on, sharp corners and all. I cut myself trying to lock and force the lock open. When I went to the office to speak to him he simply replied I geuss we should get that lock changed huh?After he brought the wrong lock, it took him 30 minutes to get the new lock on. Where he then told me that everyone on the floor would get a there next month free.When my boyfriend started asking questions, the manager changed the story and said only one person was living there, and had been checking in/out with other peoples codes. He states that the system automatically checks someone out after an hour....then whats the point of the check in/out?

Good location however the staff must’ve been as hot and tired as we were because the energy was super low. One of the guys did take the extra effort to walk us over to the unit to make sure the codes worked.UHaul can be a bit frustrating itself in that they are masters of knowing your pain points and charge outlandish fees to make that go away. Think locks, cotter pins, etc. they are sometimes a necessary evil though.Interesting location where they’re taking over an old shopping center.

I reserved eight days in advance, I filled everything online, and when I arrived it took them more than 45 minutes to figure everything out!When someone who was in the line after me complained, the person in charge said:”it is my last day here I don’t care!”They are slow ! Plan before going in there!

Don’t rent trucks from this company, they will call you last minute and say they no longer have the truck you wanted. This happened twice now in 2 weeks, they book it then call you later to offer an alternative. They have the worst reliability when it comes to having the vehicle you booked, and are more concerned with baiting and switching when needed. I’m done with Uhaul!

I would stay away from this place. They lied about the odometer reading and charged for 131 miles when the move was only 44.Update - The manager of Houston Uhaul reached out and got this sorted out. He assured me he would work with the team on this in the future. Either way... take a pic of your odometer!

Bad Service, wont call back, stole money!! I used Uboxes to move from Seattle to Houston. No problem until I get to Houston. The houston location called saying they were ready to deliver my empty boxes!! I said, I had 5 full boxes. They replied let me find them and call you back. Several days later I had to call back to find out where they where. Still did not know, they said they would call back. Again no call back. They found them, and got them delivered 13 days late, asked for the guarantee $50 per day refund. Manager, I believe Milton, said he would need to research it and call me back in a couple days. No call back. I called, got the assistant manager, he started talking to me for 2 seconds then handed the phone to the desk agent. She said he would need to call me back. Never did. Then I get charged $350 for nothing and cant get an answer from them why I was charged. Then when they deliver the boxes, their fork lift falls through my driveway into a hole. If they had shown up on time that day, it would not have rained yet. Drive was cool and let me know what was up and handled it very well, but management did not even bother checking in with me or return my calls about anything. this Uhaul sucks!!!!!

Ordered a hitch through them and received the wrong hitch. Then they didnt tell me it was the wrong hitch and said they couldnt put it on because they were missing some tool which was fine I would of got it done elsewhere. But couldnt even do that because I got home and it wasnt what I ordered. Lastly Im now driving around and hearing a rattling metal sound because they took out literally one bolt that held up my exhaust and didnt put it back so now I have to go and get one from the dealership. So ya.

I needed a trailer hitch for my Honda Pilot 2016 two days before leaving on vacation. Called and asked if I could buy and install myself. They said yes! Online only gives their included installation price. Fletcher was very helpful on the phone and located the trailer hitch on site and set it aside for me to pick up. Was greeted by Josh when I came into the lobby, very helpful and informative...gave me options. Well run location and looks clean and professional. Mentioned an online price I found that was much cheaper. They couldnt match online price but gave me a helpful discount. Great customer service. Thanks!

The GM Christinia is an extremely rude person. I made a reservation with her, but she didn’t have the vehicle that I needed so instead she sent me halfway across town to pick up another vehicle. The truck broke down on me twice, and the mirror kept vibrating towards the ground marking it hard to see behind me. When i dropped off the truck, she assured me that i wouldn’t be charged, yet I was charged... when I spoke with the corporate office they assured me that I wouldn’t be charged, and when I was I talked to the regional manager, and he told me that she told him I was “hard to deal with” when in reality I was nothing but nice to her. They promised me a refund, and I have yet to receive it. If that’s not enough. She messaged me on Facebook, and was extremely rude. Buyer beware!!!!!!! Do not do business with her, or uhaul in general.

If you like your time being wasted and don’t mind spending half a day here despite having an appointment then you’ll likely be pleased with the service here. While being helped, the general manager started a personal side conversation with one of her peers. This location is unorganized and poorly managed. Go elsewhere. It’s not worth the frustration.Update: 8/8/19We picked up a trailer at a different location. Upon hook up we realized that the wiring on the tow hitch was done incorrectly. The lights were not connected to the blinkers. You’d turn the right blinkers on and the left one would come on etc.Fortunately, we were able to get it re-done that day.8/15I take my car in for an oil change at a shop and am told by the mechanics that U-Haul placed the wires directly under the exhaust of my vehicle and had started to develop burn marks.DO NOT GO TO THIS U-HAUL!

Are you protecting your employees and customers Uhaul? I visited this location. Not one employee or customer for that matter, had on a mask. It is a choice we can all make but I now wont go back and that is my personal choice. I wasnt comfortable with having boxes put into my car by a worker not even wearing gloves. I hope that Uhaul employees at this location are offered PPE if they want it.

No one greeted me at the return equipment area. Waited for a good ten minutes in the rental before I decided to ask for help. Young lady ordered me to step back in the truck to check the lights, check the fuel gage level, etc. I have never in 5 years was ever instructed to do uhaul job. You might as well pay me for my time and labor. This location is straight up garbage!

These people do not respect your time. I had an appointment scheduled for 12 to have them install a hitch on my van. I got there a little before 12 and they said it’d be about a 45 min- 1 hour. No problem. 35 min go by and they hadn’t even started on my car and people are just walking around in circles talking. I decided to ask when they’d get started because they said 45 min to an hour and obviously that wasn’t going to happen. There is one seat inside to wait. Someone working said they were in a manager meeting and the installer was a manager. Why was my appointment scheduled at the same time as a meeting and why wasn’t I told them when they gave me my wait time? She said they’d get started right away. It took 2.5 hours and I had to entertain my 3 year old the whole time.

Picked up truck today in Katy and drove one way to my new place in Spring and they told me to drop off at the 1609 Spring Cypress location. When I arrived, the guy that checks the vehicles in was rude, acted like a thug! He told me if I check this truck in, you will be charged $200, telling me I’m not suppose to drop off here. It clearly states in my contract to drop off at this location. I stood inside for over 30 minutes before the one person working would finally help me. Plus, they closed the doors 15 minutes before they actually closed. As one self employed person to another, I would clean house here because these employees are horrible that were working this evening shift on 7/25/19!

I had a confirmed appointment to install a trailer hitch. When I arrived the store didn’t have it. They kept promising it would arrive soon, either by delivery or from another location. I was forced to wait for hours - again for an appointment that they confirmed via email & text on 3 occasions. If you choose to disregard this email and take a chance on their services, at least call before you go. That might save you many hours and a lot of frustration.

They messed up my reservation. Took 30 minutes to get it straightened out. While lady was working on it, she stopped in the middle to help another customer. On returning the truck, they overcharge me by $320. Luckily I had the quote in writing. Took forever for them to figure out how to issue the credit back to my card. Did they apologize for the mistake? Just the opposite. They acted put out that I had said something about it.... People make mistakes, I understand that. Acting like you do not care when you make a mistake does not make a customer very happy.

Booked my reservation on line from Minnesota. We were moving my daughter from Spring to Fort Worth memorial weekend. I was a little concerned because of some of the reviews. They had the van I reserved and we were in and out in about 10 minutes. Because of storms in the area, power was out the next morning when we returned the van. They were very helpful and gave me a choice of leaving the van and they would bill to my card and email me once they processed the return or we could come back later. I left the van and everything was processed correctly within a couple of hours. They were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them!

My wife is a local mobile groomer with a 2012 wag n tail grooming van. We have done business at this location many times in the past 9 years for various rentals and a recurring propane business. Today, we were treated very badly by some some guy who apparently just started, and has never seen a mobile grooming van before. He says he is certified ( and proudly mentioned that to us about half dozen times). Not sure about his certification, but he first did not know where the tank was located, then told us his nozzle would not fit the tank (though we filled up there many times before), and then finally, told us he could not locate a manufactured date on the tank, so could not fill our tank. He then went into the store and got on the computer for a long time...very strange....I finally came in and asked him what was the delay in getting our tank filled. H said a tank more than 10 years old could not be filled. I told him our van was factory built less than two years ago, and this tank is almost new. He said he could not do it (yeah,no kidding). He and the other staff told us he was the only one who was certified to fill our tank. Big joke.IMO, this was obviously to cover up his incompetence, lack of experience, and knowledge...so RV OWNERS/ GROOMING VANS BEWARE....dont waste your time (as he did ours).....

After a debacle at the 16405 I-45 location (review posted), this location stepped up and provided good service. Fast check out and return and fast filling of propane bottle. Very nice!It seems, by reading the reviews, that UHaul has a big problem with customer service.The customers are speaking UHaul... you need to get your employees trained... Yeah, you are the only game in town but one day, you will wake up and there will be a better alternative.

Wish I could give zero. Everyone that works here is grossly incompetent. You may get the displeasure of speaking to one of them on the phone if you can get them to pick up. Be prepared to hold over 20 minutes any time or any day you call, then be told theyll call you back which is about 50/50 if that actually happens. If it does, its several hours later.

2 weeks ago I spent 20 minutes in line to make an appointment to have a hitch installed at 10:00 today. After arriving 45 minutes early, I had to wait another 15 minutes to simply drop off the keys for the 1:00 to 2:00 hour install. I returned at 2:15 to find NOTHING DONE. First they told me they did not know where my car was (it was just outside the door, on clear view between the entrance and the install bay). Then they said they did not know where the keys were (they were on the Tuesday key holder easily within reach). Then they did not know what they were supposed to do (the work instructions were with they key). Then they made more lame excusses basically blaming the early crew (reportedly this entire crew came on at noon). No apology just excuses and directions to leave the keys and they would get to it (eventually implied with no commitment).

I called to let this company know that they had a driver in one of their vans driving wrecklessly in Tomball. Cutting people off and traveling at a high rate of speed. I offered them the license plate and reported how dangerous it was. I was told they didnt want to know and that I should call the police. I told them that I thought it was best to notify the company. The young lady had absolutely NO INTEREST at all in the situation.

There is a reason why this u-haul has such a low rating on Google. They accidentally charged me for a second day on my rental and refused to correct the mistake. In fact, their communication on the matter was slow and very unprofessional. I recommend looking elsewhere if you need to rent a truck.

Went to get two propane tanks filled, they told they would be right there. Finally came out and proceeded to tell me they dont have anyone on staff licensed to fill tanks so it is against the law for them to do it. I suggest they quit advertising that they do it then.

It Should be no stars if I could rate them that low. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!I had two reservations, one for this weekend, one for next weekend. MY wife and I got there about 9:30, 30 mins after their opening, and there were 8 people in front of me trying to get our Trucks. One person working and it was taking a very long time. About 10:00am three more employees finally showed up to work to start helping. After standing in line for ONE HOUR, I finally was able to get to a counter for service. The representative was not happy with her job and didnt even ask or apologize for us waiting so long.She got my information, (which should have already been done online,) was almost ready to get my truck then come to find out she looked up the wrong reservation after I told her from the start that I had TWO DIFFERENT RESERVATIONS!THEN, the only reason that I was renting the truck in the first place was to move appliances and hopefully use one of their furniture dollys that was on my reservation. THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY MORE FURNITURE DOLLYS.My wife and I, just cancelled both fo our reservations and found another option. This is the worst place to go to in spring. Go to a smaller uhaul rental place you may have better luck.

Absolutely the Worst racial encounter I have had. Over the phone I asked for the uhaul set it up and was told to come at 2pm . Upon arrival I say to my husband wow they have a lot of trucks all sizes. There were two ladies (white) talking but once we came in one lady went out a side door and the other lady sat down. I waited 10 mins with out being acknowledge that its customer. So I walked up to a short older blonde with a look of anger on her face and said hello my name is....... And Im here for my 2pm pick up. She looks at me and says who you... I said yes and repeated my name she being typing then said we dont have any trucks now. And said she would call me when the trucks got back... Keep in mind the lot is FULL OF VEHICLES. SO I KEEP CALLING AND THEY ANSWER THEN HANG UP. IM SO FURIOUS AND WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT BEING RACIST IS EQUAL TO STUPIDITY.

Furthermore, I am currently on hold with UHaul for an extension to our trip and was told that would be for no charge, but they are now charging us $60 for the extension. Terrible service

General Manager Rebecca Hippley did an awesome job overcoming some system problem with their credit card readers. She knew I was in a hurry and effectively solved the problem quickly. She didnt waste time trying to up-sell me on other things. She got me out of there as quickly as she could. Rebecca and her staff are very professional and efficient.I wont use anyone else!

Trailer was ok. After checking in, somebody was supposed to help us hook up trailer. Nobody ever showed up, so we had to do it ourselves. Same thing with the return. Not a huge deal, just dont tell me to wait for somebody to help, and then nobody show up.

I have been fraudulently charged 3 times for the same amount by this location after returning a truck and nobody has made any attempt to answer why or contact me regarding this. The one person that answered put me on hold for 45 min before being hung up on. Going inside the store they can’t help they direct you to a phone number that nobody answered after 2 hours of waiting.

This was the drop off location I used for Uhal, and I wish I would have never rented it and moved everything myself, but I was in an urgent situation and needed a truck to move all of my belongings. I paid cash for the entire rental at the pick up location in League City. I used the truck and returned it to Spring the following Monday.The manager at the location said I would not be charged anything further since I brought it back before a certain time (except for tolls). They checked the truck, everything was fine.3 weeks later, I was charged the same for my rental, PLUS a $30.00 late fee, on the credit card I used to hold my reservation. I contacted Uhauls call center, they said someone would contact me. Another manager from Spring, Milton Rivera, contacted me and said he would look into it. I emailed him a copy of my receipt (which was just the reservation hold, come to find out). He emailed me back, stating that I was lying, and that I never paid cash, and there was nothing he could do.First of all, I know what I did, and I know I paid cash. I found my receipts, and emailed him back in detail what happened the day I picked up my Uhaul, proving that I paid cash.He returned my email, stating I was still lying, and there was nothing they could do. I called Uhauls corporate number and spoke with Ed and Jennifer (who were both very friendly), and told them how upset I was, and not only did I want my overcharge refunded back to me of $178.50, I now want my initial $137.00 refunded back to me, and I will never use Uhaul again, nor will I recommend them.I hadnt heard anything in 5 days, so I call the corporate number again. An hour later, Mr. Rivera calls me. I inform him that I told the representatives that I did not want to speak with him. He told me that he can give me $30.00 back, or nothing at all.This has gotten out of hand and ridiculous. I will call the corporate number everyday, continue to post and update on social media (including my business page that has over 23,000 followers), until this matter is resolved. All I initially wanted was the overcharged returned to me. One month later, Im still dealing with this mess.

Pickup appointment was delayed by two hours and they charged us twice incorrectly for a non cleared unit that we cleared on the day it arrived. They also lied to us about not keeping our credit card information on file. The issue was only resolved after corporate reached out to the location.

I rented a 26 truck here in July of 2017. Everything was done online. There was some issue with this location honoring the my way my reservation waa made, but ultimately I received the truck.Upon returning the truck and key, the attendant that received and inspected the truck misplaced the key. The next few minutes were both frustrating and comical as first the attendant, then the manager took turns claiming that I had lost the keys and would be responsible for having new keys made.Eventually, the keys were found under a newspaper the attendant had been reading when I arrived.No harm, no foul. We are all human, right?Fast forward to this past week. I rent (online) another 26 truck this week from a different location. Great communication with facility.I was utilizing the self check in when an error message showed up: Theres a problem with you reservation, please contact xXxX xXxX.No worries. I call and after some research, Im told that uhual moving and storage of spring had flagged me! I was flagged because I was a danger to uhual employees and the facility. LOL! Really?Infinitely, this too was resolved.However, how petty, spiteful and juvenile do you have to be to attempt to block someone from renting from a company you represent? U-hual moving & storage, you made made a mistake and like too many other people nowadays, you attempted to punish someone else.Bravo! Well played!Ill rent again from u-hual, but never again from this location.

Rented a cargo trailer from this location for one day. Returned it early and was told I would get an email receipt. Now, days later I’m being told I never returned the trailer and I’m being billed accordingly. Having to call multiple times to try and address but still not resolved. Terrible process.

Picked up a truck and car hauler from the Kingwood Uhaul with no trouble whatsoever. I dropped off the truck and trailer later that evening at this Uhaul location. The following day I was charged almost $80 extra. When I called and asked why they said that I was way over on my mileage and I brought it back with no gas in it which was a lie. I may have went over a little on mileage, But I definitely filled it up with as much if not more gas than what I picked it up with. I told them that i put enough gas in it and they pretty much said that I was SOL. I will definitely not be doing any business with this particular location ever again.

I had a trailer hitch and wiring installed on my car. I dropped my car off at 7am when they open and was only suppose to take 3 hours. Then the GM rebecca said that our hitch guy doesnt come in till 11. So i dropped rhe car off anyways knowing that it was going to take a few extra hours but it wasnt even done until 330. The guy who installed the hitch and wiring is a very nice guy but did not do a good job at all. Within 2 days of getting the wiring put on, the power wire was dragging the ground causing a short in the system. After some more research into where the power cable was run, I realized that in the front it was hanging across the steering column where the gear turns and in the back it was sitting on the exhaust pipe. After driving nearly 2000 miles on my road trip, I went to a different uhaul and were very understanding but none of this should of happened in the first place if it was done properly in the first place.

Absolutely horrific experience just trying to get through on the phone to this business. They have some kind of call center re-routing. The people at the call center have no clue what is going on locally. One told me they were closed and hung up on me - this during listed business hours. Next, I was re-routed to some auto repair shop in Indiana. Then the next person told me that the General Manager at the business is unavailable because he isnt on IM.This on top of them royally screwing up my move. Total crap business model.

Awful.. They didnt have the 17 truck I reserved.. Without asking me they moved my location to Porter,TX and said its very close. When I asked them to check they said its only 30 miles!! And the reservation was also reduced to 4hrs from the desired 12hr requirement.
