Maybe it is just me, but when I take a vehicle to a shop for work to be done I expect the service technicians to be well talented in meeting the task. It is very disappointing to be notified at the time of picking up the vehicle that the shop could not do an alignment because they could not free the adjustable parts. Without presenting an option and cost for them to provide a solution to correct the issue, they stated “ maybe someone else can get it free”So what are they implying? What is the impression that they left me with?I got the message, instead of taking the time to assist the client, send him down the road so we can focus on the simple jobs.I will say appointment time to drop the vehicle off was met

I had the best experience here!! Everyone who works there helped me fix my brakes and gave me the best deal I could find. They explained everything to me which I really appreciated as I am in no way well versed in cars. Everything went so well and I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Alex was great, gave me a quote for exactly what I needed. He needs help though. Store was busy and he was doing great working the front and helping in the shop to keep cars moving. Also recommend staying open one more hour due to traffic in Houston. Hard to get there after work in this town. Alex helped again by setting up an appointment so when I got there it was no waiting and out in 45 minutes good as new.

So i would like to share my experience at brake check.so i went in for a wheel alignment under special circumstances that my car has 24 inch rims on it, they told me it would be no problem to align.so i had great hopes that i would get good service. Dillon the store director was working on it. So he comes and brings me out in the shop saying my bolt on my left tie rod was seized and i needed to change both of them for a price around 400 dollars.automatically i became suspicious about the trust and integrity of the shop. So he aligns it the best he said he could which was with my steering wheel at the 11 oclock position and he dinged up my inner rim that i guess he thought i wouldnt catch. Fast forward 2 days later i take it to another shop and they align with no problems. So if your considering getting work done here think twice about it. This is my first step in getting reimbursed for my inconvenience. The next step is contacting the store directors supervisor Eddie guy...but dont take it from me see for yourself!!

Well this time Id have to say Im very displeased. My friend needed her caliber replaced along with rotor and pads. $706 she drove 53 miles and had to stop at the next brake check to get her brakes done. What happened was they put them on backwards can you imagine that? A brake company doing a brake job doing it backwards.

Alex and the crew took care of my car and had great customer service not just with me but every customer that came in for service.... Alex goes above and beyond to make sure you are pleased... Diagnostic took a bit but I would rather be safe than quick with diagnostics on my brakes. Dillon did a good job of explaining what was needed, and quoted a fair price. Work was completed in the time quoted and I love that I dont get a massage with the press of my brakes. Good job guys.

Excellent service at a fair price. I will use them again. The only criticism is that they forgot to reset the service module in the car and put a reminder sticker on the windshield. I had to go back in and ask them to do this. Would have given a 5 had they not forgotten this. Otherwise, it was an excellent experience.

So for starters my history with brake check (DIFFERENT LOCATION) wasn’t the best. They wrecked my car and in the last year I’ve replaced my brakes 4x. That location kept giving me the run around and i was over it. I recently moved out to the woodlands and decided to try a different location. After explaining everything to Dylan, he was a little apprehensive about touching my car, (i don’t blame him lol). but he helped me. He found major issues that the other store did not address and he fixed them all. I’m so appreciative he even called me later that day to check in to make sure my car was still working properly. If you’re like me and cars aren’t your thing,or you’re just sick of your time and money wasted take it to Dylan and his team. He’s blunt and took the time to explain everything to me concerning my car. His kindness towards my situation is one that I’ll never forget.

I arrived at Brake Check mid-morning and had my brakes inspected. I was told I needed almost a complete brake job. The service advisor showed me all of the damage and I approved the work to be done. I was told the work would take 3 to 3 1/2 hours to complete. I approved the work as I didnt have to pick up my granddaughter from school until 3:30 pm. The estimate should complete the work by 1:00 to 1:30 pm. At 1:30 I checked on the progress and was told it should be done by 2:00pm. That became 2:30 and then 3:00. I got out with my car about 3:00 pm. As I was driving to get my granddaughter I was surprised that the braking was very soft with the pedal going even with the accelerator pedal. I took the pick-up back the next day and they adjusted it properly.

Took car in for basic oil change. They take you out to the garage to inspect under your car and point out other issues that may need fixing. All I was told was that, for the age and mileage on my car, it looked amazingly clean...ZERO leaks. This was on a Wednesday. Saturday morning I noticed oils stains under where the car is parked normally. Took back, sure enough, they stripped the drain plug putting it back in. I can only imagine what underneath the car looks like now, AND wonder if the drain pain is stripped as well. They changes the oil again, and installed new drain plug, and assured me.....I owed them nothing! I didn’t even know that had to be mentioned. They also gave me a card for a free oil change. I’ll see if I can trade it to the pressure washer guy, that’s going to charge me $300 for cleaning the stains off my driveway 🤔

We had an appointment for new breaks and rotors turned. Got new wipers on too. They were very helpful with no BS. Didn’t try to charge me for things I didn’t want or need. Very friendly and we got our car back in a timely manner. Will be a returning customer.

Amazing service called last minute for an alignment on a Sunday after already scheduling with another company who later decided to cancel. The staff was great and finished within the hour on such short notice. Truck drives 1000%/better

Appointment time was at 10am so when they were trying to do alignment there system went down so I asked ok can I jus get my breaks check and also was trying 2 replace a stud on my wheels but they said that something about there system they couldnt do it cuz they dnt knw about the appointment that they have well I had a 10 am appointment n I was there for about a hour and they didnt do anything to my truck jus feel like they were trying 2 give me a runaround

Came in Sunday morning (5/9/2021) for an alignment at 8:30am . Door stated Sunday hours were from 9am-5pm. Waited around until 9:15am but no one every showed up. Drove by several times during the day while running errands and business was still closed. DONT LIST HOURS YOU ARE OPEN IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE OPEN.

Excellent service! They were quick and very professional. Did not pressure me into service and were very knowledgeable. Also much better prices than the competition! The brake job cost me $100 less than what firestone quoted, and alignment was $30 cheaper too! Save yourself some money and headache and go here.

As always a great place to get your oil changed, and get your vehicle aligned correctly. I didnt have an appointment but was able to get right in. Every 4th oil change is free, so I bring all of my vehicles to these folks.

They did a good job. Did not oversell or upsell. Sensor warning did not go away, though. But we discussed options, took it back in and they fixed it immediately as the sensor wire was not seated well enough. I will go back.

Dylan and his crew did well resolving my brake issue having to switch from another location to his. They spent more than an hour just to properly bleed my brakes after having pads and rotors redone from the other place. Everything working well. Thank you and will visit again soon

Brake check is terrible!!!!!So my wife’s SUV had been makin squeaking noises and she had recently changed the front brake pads and resurfaced the rotors. So process of elimination we concluded that the back needed new pads and a resurfacing…. Sounds easy. My wife took her vehicle on June 10th @2pm as her appt. My wife’s vehicle was still there by the end of the day and their excuse was “we had to do a “inspection” first to see what’s goin on”…. Mind you we know what we need done. Took them all day just to tell us what we told them. So Saturday comes and we take the truck back up there around 7:45am this is June 11th. It took them until 1-1:30pm to have the truck done and when we arrived they ordered pads for the front (which we already had done), but we needed rear so the truck sat there until almost 1:30pm for them to finish something simple we asked the day before! Later that day we hear squeaking again so i call and ask why is it squeaking after all that wasted time and buying Ubers to get back home. (MIND YOU MY WIFE IS 7 MONTHS PREGNANT) and i work so she had no ride! The manager stated the front rotor needed a resurfacing again. So my wife takes the truck again June 15th for a resurfacing after the shenanigans over the weekend, again my wife had to take a Uber home due to the wait time and she does work from home. I call from work and ask what’s goin on and the manager says the truck is done as my wife left but that was a lie because no one called my wife back. WE WILL NO LONGER USE THIS LOCATION, as the events we witnessed were ridiculous. Never was compensation stated or anything. So imagine still having to pay a couple hundred after all that! This brake check is Terrible and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!!!!

Diagnosed the real problem with my brakes which was not what I thought it was. Saved me the expense of replacing brake pads, and replaced the front wheel hubs. Fantastic place and great people.

They did my brake job and yesterday my car locked up on me in 5oclock traffic no less. My car guy said the caliper pin came loose causing my car to lock up and screw up my new rotor I just bought from brake check too. He checked all other tires and said ALL FOUR tires caliper pins were loose too! Everyone should beware!

All I came in for was an oil change. Faster and cheaper than my previous place! Store clerk Juan was very straightforward and pretty funny. I think he might practice his jokes at home! The mechanic who serviced my vehicle was also very friendly, I didn’t catch his name though. He had no time for jokes. Waiting room was clean and kept at a comfortable temperature as well. Overall, I would recommend this location for oil changes.

They dont have the tool to do the rear wheel alignment on my car! thats what they told me, even so they charged me the full price for half the work !!

I had Brake Check service my brakes in December 2019. My brakes started a mild pulsation in August of this year so I decided to have them look at the problem. The store manager claimed that my pads were warn because of mechanical problem with the caliper and “heat ring”, and I would need to spend another +$500 to fix the issue. This was total BS as I looked at the pads before taking it in and there was at least a quarter of an inch on all pads.This combined with zero enforcement of mask rules made me leave immediately and I will never use Brake Check again. By the way, I gave it 2 stars only because they got me in reasonably fast.

Do not recommend going here they had my truck for 3 days couldnt find my parts I ended up telling them to put it back together an went to another shop then they charged me 180 my truck still has no brakes save your time an money

My son took his car here for brakes and they did not do the job properly and he took it back over 5 times for them to correct it and they say they fixed it but the problems still persist, corporate has given us the run around for over 3 months now with no solution, I dont want to write bad reviews but people should be made aware that business is not done properly here.

The work was quick and the manager friendly and honest about the work they dont do. My windshield fluid sprayer wasnt working, and they couldnt figure out why. A customer knew the fix, and they let him show them how to fix it for future customers.
