Great store for good deals. The inventory changes a lot. There are many things they always have. Produce is inexpensive but needs to be consumed soon. Your dollar goes a long way here and employees are friendly.

Weve shopped at the Grocery Outlet before the store became a public name. The employees are amazing and helpful. The food options are amazing and cost half of that in other grocery stores.

I like gross out, but this one was awful!

Its a smaller store, but nearest La Mesa. One can find some gluten/wheat free items here. The wine prices are good. Can find ocassional things that are a great find. Other times the items you liked, may not be there. I can typically find something and not leave empty handed. My puppy and I have enjoyed the various types of plain yogurt found at this store. The Redhill farms goat yogurt was pretty good. The sheep yogurt was enjoyed as well. Thanks for stocking what you might have thought to be odd, but thats what gets people to try it and possibly like it.

This location is always well stocked, lots of keto/low carb specialty items and usually has the weekly deals on display. Their produce section seems fresher or at least better curated than the other locations nearby. They also have a single line for all check stands which is so streamlined I hope they keep after social distancing is relaxed.

Great prices my only issue is that it doesnt always have everything I need. It definitely has the basics but sometimes my recipes need something that the store doesnt have or doesnt have at the moment.

My daughters shopped there. The dried cranberries were best by 4 17 17. They were purchased towards the end of the month. They should most likely not be for sale after the data. And the Vanilla bean almond milk were to expire in 2 days. 5 02 17. And was already sour. Bad experience. Due to having to return.

Thats why we have so much food waste in this country! A lot of the expiration dates is merely a suggested time frame. So if you see an item thats a great deal, and close to expiration, you better use it right away.This particular Grocery Outlet has friendly workers and all their employees seem to be invested in being there. All seem to be constantly working—whether its manning the cash register or restocking shelves. They dont stand/sit around much here!You can find great deals on organic products, dairy and some produce. The company, as a whole, realizes that they cant consistently carry certain products so thats why they say, shop here first and save — which is what we do. We shop at GO for the shelf-stable and some refrigerated items then go to Sprouts or some other store for produce and stuff we cant find at GO.

3 months ago I was in this store and saw a man with no cart who was carrying his scroungy dog. The man was sniffing pieces of fruit and vegetables, then pressing these food items up against the dogs mouth where the dog began licking each piece. The man then put the food items back onto the shelf, one by one. I caught the owner, who told me he wasnt willing to put a stop to it. It has been 3 months ago that this happened, so I thought Id give it another chance. What did I see yesterday? Another dog riding in the front of the cart, and employees petting the dog!! These were not service dogs, just family pets. I am a private chef who spends approximately $800. a month in this store to shop for my clients. If they knew I was buying their food in a store that allows this to happen, they would fire me on the spot!! Apparently the owners would rather lose me as a customer than to curb or stop their dog-friendly stance in a food environment.

I have been to several GOBM in east county and this is seemingly least well run. Merchandising is hap hazard, pricing is spotty, shopping carts are simply filthy and falling apart and you have to check the expiration date on everything. Plus, they no longer give customers access to bathrooms. It is all about attention to detail, they dont have it here.

I love that they have an organic/natural section and some organic produce. Their prices are great and everyone is friendly. Store is clean and has become one of my weekly stops for groceries!
