I like this store mostly due to its close proximity to home and its friendly staff. Its very clean & always has good parking.It has most of the same things as other Smart & Finals but lacks many of the meats and produce the other stores have.Due to health issues, My family and I use Gluten Free & Organic products and they stopped stocking many of the products they had stocked when they opened. The other S&F stores still have them and more.I will continue to shop here but go to the Avocado or other S&F for larger shopping.Its still a great store.

The store is clean well stocked, fruit is fresh, I love smart and final for excellent customer service and giving the customer products that are club size and priced without buying quantity. They also offer the small food vendors and restaurants the option of small quantity of paper supplies. Plus last but not least the roasted chickens are awesome they are family size and always fresh. Sadly they are missing from my store this week due to a break down of the oven. Im sure they are working on it and soon a favorite item here in Spring Valley will be available.

Smart and final being a bulk sales grocery store has most everything in commodities. The prices to most are high. But when you factor that you are paying for and buying bulk, its reasonable with pricing. Also, most of their stores offer plenty of parking, and occasionally, samples of the wares.

I like this location the best even though I have a S&F near my house. They seen to be fully stocked every time I shop there.

Quick service. I went for tea but the selection of black tea is limited but thats okay.

The staff needs a bit more training on working as a team, they seem to always have an issue when im there at the registers waiting to check out can take a very long time but the prices are good and they have alot of options

Managers need to be aware of their business levels& try to move their service.

We went to buy items for a BBQ because they were on sale. We were told the stores ran the sale and never got the shipment and they were told to say they ran out and would get some tomorrow. Should not advertise items you do not have to sell.

I love Smart & Final...Sweetwater store clean, adheres to Covid19 rules for sanitizing. Every staff that noticed me greeted me with positive vibes. Everything I needed was in stock...im a customer for life!!!

Just happened across this location on the way home, usually go to the H street location. This was during Covid-19 shelter order and most stores have been out of quite a few of the items I was looking for. Multiple times Ive had to go to multiple stores to get what I needed, even then I would come up an item or two short of what I was looking for. Shockingly, I actually found everything I was looking for here, even a bottle of syrup I had been trying to find for a couple months. Well stocked and clean.

Store was somewhat crowded for 6am Sunday morning. Maybe 2 other customers practiced social distancing. Every other customer was an A-hole crowding aisles abd walking back and forth past me. The aisles are wide enough for people to walk past one another and still keep social distancing. It was horrendous. I told the checkout person. Before I finished bagging my groceries the next customer was practically on top of me. The clerk acknowledged the too close distance. Normally on an early Sunday morning there are no problems. Not today.

Its a great place to shop most of the time. Good customer service and they are moving the huge lines fast most of the time. Overall a good store to go to and dont have anything to complain about.

Not as cheap as costco or Sams Club, but they carry a big selection of items, not only for home, but also for restaurants and coffee shops.

Conveniently located in the heart of Spring Valley next to the new Target. They are 100% compliant with social distancing and keep the checkout process well in-check.As with all other grocery stores, they did suffer from shortages on essentials at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown, but have since kept stock to almost normal levels.Did I mention that they are keeping normal store hours? So if you cant make it to Target by 9pm, dont worry, S&F is open till 10pm!Their prices are better than the Sons of Albert and their staff is friendly; throw in the convenient hours. What more could you ask for?

The line was somewhat long before 5pm, but was moving at a decent pace. Plus side, is that they had fresh Tecate beer, and plenty of meats here.

Not a huge selection of items since its not like a regular supermarket nor quite like a Costco either, but better than expected and bulk prices are good. It is quicker and closer than going to Costco and no membership fees although the prices arent as cheap as Costco but not off by a whole lot. Good quality of bulk foods and good prices too. Their gummy bears are so good and the best Ive ever had. Btw, this is coming from an amateur gummy bear/ candy connoisseur. 🐹🐶

Good morning,Im a local pastor in the local community and born and raised. Sixty eight Years to be exact. I appreciate the fact that smart and final took the step to occupy a store in the spring valley area. I understand the challenges of doing so without declaring them.Often times, one or two times a week I visit your store. And as I stand in line I notice the cashiers would greet some clients and others they would racial profile them. I didnt want to rush to judgment so for weeks I just observed different cashiers. I get it! Sign of the times. BUT REALLY? Some baskets scanned for forgotten items others never! I understand lost prevention is a big concern. BUT as I continue to observe the nearsightedness of your employees these acts of racial profiling must discontinue! Smart and Final is a great store but the unkind acts of your employees STINK.Thank you for allowing me to share.Pastor Michael Bruce

The back of the line was a bit crowded at first, but then spaced out to 6 toward the front. Otherwise, store is clean and service was fast.

Smart & Final in Spring Valley is a nice place to shop. Many good fresh vegetables & fruit. Fresh meat and. many frozen choices. Soft drinks alcohol. The dairy section provides many selections. Great place for candy ready made baked goods and coffee. Large selection of many products.😊

My wife and I are liking it so far. Its fairly new to the neighborhood. About 2 years old. It replaced a run down grocery store. Its a pleasure to come to this new and clean store. Friendly employees and good stocked items

I just went to Sprim Valley store #725... you have special corona 12 case when you buy 25 five dls or more...but theres no cases on the fridge...I ask to the cashier y she ask to some one ...I dont now if was the manager ..but he dont even check back he just check.on the fridge obviously there no more .and only said No no more....I buy 71 dls on merchandice ...I ask if I can come back when they have some o if they do rain checks ...he was to rude ..he said No no more why you put that special if you dont have the product or you dont want to go check on the back I dont think you rain off is only 2 days thath you start the special..

Went shopping with my daughter oh by the way she works there. Hahaha

Better prices than Albertsons. Large variety of produce. But they dont carry a lot of items like a regular grocery store would. Never enough resisters open.

Terrible scam, not remotely cheaper than any nicer store. If you need value just keep driving to the Lemon Grove Food 4 Less or the Grocery Outlet in Spring Valley. No deals exist here, all the same price or more as Albertsons down the. Pretending to be a value store in a very poor area is disgusting. Please go out of business so we can get a real store. Id rather go to the awful k-mart next door. Good in a pinch but thats IT.

Its new and Im hopeful it stays as clean and sharp as it is. The lines could use a little work as people get bunched up pretty quickly. Otherwise this place is awesome.

I do most of my shopping at this store. Its clean. Most of the staff very helpful. The prices and products reasonable.

Normally I would give location a 5 star rating but the last few incidents have left very bad tastes in my mouth...i attempted to order on line for home delivery after hours literally I was ready to check out...it asked for a delivery date and time and just sit there it would go no farther ...so after attempting to purchase $230.00 of groceries I could go no farther...understanding the situation right now I got in my car to go physically into the store...i am an older adult with a health issue that does not allow me to wear a mask ...i was told I had to wear a mask to shop....masj are not mandatory for anyone but an essential worker...needless to say another failure and a forever lost customer

If cashiers cannot wear masks appropriately why should I, On several visits the same cashier (who tends to be in Lane 1 in the evenings cannot seem to get that his mask needs to cover his nose.

Close to Jamacha-Lomita. Next to Kmart. Fresh Vegetables, a variety of food items, fresh meat, some specialty frozen. Good variety of canned foods. A nice selection of professional/home kitchen items. We visit there often.

I go to this S/F about 2-3 times per month. The clerks are not friendly..no hellos..how r yous..goodbyes...have a nice day...think I might find another place to shop. Today I was told to slide the case of eggs down so she could reach them to put them in my cart..not asked with a please and thank you but slide the eggs down so I can reach them! Lots of them are young but they should learn from the beginning.
