Called on a Tuesday, went there on Friday to see the options and had 4 tons of rock on Saturday! Very good service, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The sales ladies were super efficient too. On Saturday the man who delivered the stone was a friendly and courteous fellow! So everyone from sales to delivery was great.

Started a backyard project with my kids last week and visited rock solid a few times for pickups. Katie helped us with our purchase each time and we were always greeted with a welcoming smile. She was very helpful and patient with both my daughter and I. A+ for the friendliest customer service! (Plus she let my daughter pick out a cute dino toy for my son. :-)Steve helped load our items each visit and always made us feel welcomed, comfortable and the fact he remembered us and asked about our project progress, really added a personal touch! My daughter said “ I want him to help us every-time!” She said bye to him about 10 times and he seemed more than happy to say bye right back to her each time.Thank you both for providing such a great experience on our first landscaping project in our new home. Good news, Rock Solid came through and made all necessary repairs to my property. It took some time to get this resolved but at end, true to their word!!A delivery was made where the driver cracked my driveway and tore up my lawn pretty bad. Lawn was a lush special shade tolerant grass (Seville). His truck broke down upon entering my property and had to be towed out. One person (Peter) came out to evaluate damage, approved sod replacement but still hasnt followed up on driveway repairs. Im hoping to see this company take responsibility for the damages they made to my property. Ill update review accordingly.

My family and I went to the Spring Hill location to look for some aquarium rock. Steve (I believe that was his name) assisted us. He was very knowledgeable and he took the time to actually teach my kids! He was very kind. As a mom, it meant the world to me. My kids said they had fun at the rock center!The entire place is very clean and well organized. I think it’s adorable that the building is modeled after the Flintstones and that they have fish and birds inside! Their prices are very reasonable as well.Very happy experience. We will be back! :)

Rock-solid is a really cool place to bring the kids! The store looks like Fred flintstones house! They have a bird sanctuary in the building with a ton of colorful birds. Outside, they have a lot of stones, mulch, sand, and gravel. They also have a fish pond with a waterfall and a giant dinosaur!

I couldnt be more pleased with their service. I called yesterday for information, and Katie was more than helpful. I received product and pricing information, and placed my order. Today I received 3 tons of beautiful paver sand for my dogs, the driver was very helpful in placement.. They are truely Rock Solid!

We ordered a ton of rocks, rented a hopper and they give you a wheelbarrow to use! Great deal, better than just getting rocks at a big box store: you get way more, and more convenience for your $. Better bang for your buck-Win. But, the first round didnt work out so well as the hopper chute didnt stop (huge pile of rocks) and the wheelbarrow tire broke off (missing a screw)-Lose. Project ended until the next a.m., they brought new hopper & wheelbarrow- Win. But, they left it on the grass not the dirt as instructed and didnt clean up the rock pile mess left as they stated they would-Lose, Lose.

I ordered 6 yards of soil for my raised beds. I was delivered good, black, organic topsoil. The delivery was on time. The driver, Steve, was courteous, and did me the favor of driving through my property as far as he could to dump the soil as close as possible to my beds to spare me a lot of trips with the wheelbarrow. I will use them again when I need rocks for my landscaping.

He was very helpful and said he would make it right which he did no problems at all.The driver was very friendly and on time. Excellent customer service from this company.. They have a lot of stone, gravel, rock, etc. We needed some people sized gravel for a decorative part of our yard. They have many items in easy to handle bags so you do not need to worry about having to have a truck. If you want large quantities they can handle that also. Great friendly staff that are very helpful.

While the Hoppers are great and we have used them in the past this time I wasn’t as impressed. It’s time to get new wheelbarrows. First off when you pay for 2 hoppers you should get 2 wheelbarrows since there isn’t a discount for more then one. Second the wheelbarrow should work. The one delivered was useless. When we mentioned it nobody seemed to care. This is the third delivery using the Hoppers and may be the last unless new wheelbarrows are supplied. Also the office doesn’t communicate with each other. We were told around noon for delivery. We called at 2 and were told truck was broke down so go to lunch. Before we were done with lunch we were called and they were upset because the driver was at the house waiting. We didn’t take a 2 hour lunch, lol. They had to be on the way when she told us to go to lunch. Disappointed.

Promise delivery time same day great. Topsoil was aerator with mulch I was told. So I didnt get what I have considered to be topsoil they told me that I will be ok. Really ok you have no idea as to how I am to use this. So I will have to screen to remove unwanted mulch in the so called top soil. Not happy

I wasnt referring to lime rock I was referring to river rock and a cubic yard weight is 2400 pounds, you are selling by weight on a scale I have spent thousands at your location because of your location but will be going the extra mile not to anymore because of your response and lack of accountability. I also will refer every contractor and or landscaper that I know the spots I use now are the best because they are honest. Its a shame that I had to leave a bad review even gave you the opportunity to be decent about the situation. I am referring to countyline rd location. I was extremely disappointed with this business.I called in advance to see if they had a certain rock. They said that they did have a rock but it was called something different. I asked them if the rock was the same as the other rock, and just went by a different name, or if it was a different rock altogether. I told her that I was asking this because I was coming from clear across the other side of the county. The lady that I spoke with said that they were the same, just a different name. I went, borrowed my buddys trailer, I drove over there to find out that they WERE DIFFERENT ROCK. We all know the price of gas, and was EXTREMELY unhappy (as one can imagine).The business itself was laid out nice, and was overall a really great looking place, but am disappointed with this response, since I feel I was duped into coming down there and hoping I would buy that rock.

This is not a rate of their performance of a company or anything, but their drivers leaving the exit without looking and almost hitting me almost every morning as Im leaving work is getting real old

I would Never recommend rock solid after attempting to deliver the Wrong stone to my home to replace missing stone they delivered Without my observance a Different stone then denied it might be from another job and that wed have to shovel in a trailer and bring it back anyone that buys the rock from them needs to shop around theyre also higher priced than other places in the area.....i did purchase the stone there Peter Shnitznagel told me to get it there he does business with them so I took his word for it would be a good source for the rock but am very disappointed and Wont recommend them.

Professional landscaper I own my business 4 round 7 years now I normally work and Hillsborough County very rarely do work in Hernando but I had a pretty large job and Hernando County required 3 & a quarter ton of Rock White marble rock to be exact I wasnt aware that there was another company to get rock in bulk and Hernando County the way I usually so my jobs as I tell my customer the price the materials are going to cost with the discount I get for being a landscaper and then I had on my labor fees well this is where everything went wrong I gave my customer the price on the rock they said it seemed a bit huh but they known me for years and no I wasnt doing it wrong because I was showing them proof of receipt then her brother in law showed up and he had just got done putting the same exact Rock and his flower beds but he had done it himself when he found out how much I paid for the Rock he thought I was ripping her off so she showed him the receipt come to find out there is our company five miles down the road thats cell the exact same Rock for $30 less per ton thats after they gave me a landscaper discount I cant imagine how much cheaper would have been with my discount also the ladies at the front desk but not the friendliest Im saying theyre mean but theyre just really not friendly dont get me wrong the facility is very nice and they have a pretty good selection of Rock Sand and Gravel but its just extremely overpriced me being an out-of-towner and not realizing that there was another company to buy wholesale from so I was just in a bind Im not going to drive to complete different County to get three and a quarter ton of rocks I just wish I would have done my due diligence and found out that there was another company in town charging so much less the companys name is Hildreth I believe they are located off of Mariner and northcliffe I just feel like its my civil Duty to let all my other hard working landscape guys know that theres another company out there selling products much cheaper its just pretty crappy that were the ones doing all the hard work and the companies that are selling the products are the ones making so much more money I guess Rock Solid doesnt care about repeat business with a mark of this High all they need to do is there get you to buy once and they made as much money as another company has with you coming three times
