Been shopping here for years. There produce use to be good. Lately especially the apples are terrible. I bought a bag of organic potatos and when I opened them up at home they were moldy.

Great store. Had what I wanted and line went quickly. Greeted by several employees and the cashier asked if I fund what I was looking for. I did.

I found that this place is gouging on gas prices. 362 for 87% grade. The highest place Ive been to was 352. I got a 10% discount filling up which put me at 3:52. This kind of price fixing and price gouging is going on inside the store also. I was at the Safeway up on the South Hill no empty shells. This place had high prices on me. Higher than their store on the South Hill or Northwest boulevard. When is the state going to step in and stop this. They dont even deserve one star.

I love the Safeway on Wellesley, it’s close to me as of now, and it’s way cleaner than the Safeway on northwest blvd. I love the staff, some are faster than others, but either way they are pretty cool.

The customer service is better then when I was younger.

Clean facility, and the helpful staff assisted me with self checkout.One note, if you do like to use the self checkout, use the stickers on the fruits and veggies whenever available, and mentally mark which kind of each item you are purchasing. Just to save yourself the sometimes embarrassing question of can you fix this? Or explain it to me?

Shadle park Safeway has the best meat counter of Spokane area Safeways and often has great deals. 5 dollar Fridays and the clearance section on Saturdays allow us to stock our freezers for cheap. Some of the butchering is awkward, but thats probably why its cheap.

This store was well stocked and surprisingly quick at the register too.

Took a car cruise went there for lunch. Sandwich was fresh.

It was great, the sushi was fresh and the store was keeping up with the 12:30 business rush.

Brosnan security services used his truck to block us from moving forward numerous times then finally blocked us entirely from moving forward. He claimed the back lot was semis only and would not move his truck. I will NOT be using this store again until they deal with this security man.

Ive NEVER been treated so rudely by a cashier at ANY of the Safeway stores with the exception of this morning when I stopped into this store to pick up a handful of items. As I finished my checkout with a clerk by the name of Skylar I asked her why I didnt receive a monopoly ticket with my receipt. She rudely and arrogantly replies to me You did not purchase any of the required store items to qualify for a ticket nor did you spend $20.00 which is what you need to do in order to get a ticket. She then callously says The store just recently updated this policy recently! and turns away from me. Not even a thank you for shopping with us or Have a pleasant day was extended towards me...WOW! So disheartening!! At all my other shopping experiences with this monopoly game, I was always given 1 to many tickets no matter WHAT I PURCHASED. Also, many cashiers have always asked me before I left with my groceries if I wanted a ticket(s), so Id like to know what is up with this clerks detached attitude given towards me today? This type of customer service HAS NO place in Safeway or therefore any grocery store!!!

This is another of Spokanes great old supermarkets. As any other supermarket thats been around for 4+ decades, this one is well run. If youre making a tobacco purchase, go elsewhere. If youre looking for a bakery, this store has always excelled.

The Shadle Park Safeway bakery always does an incredible job with birthday cakes and they were very patient and creative in concocting a special birthday cake for my wifes 41st birthday- it turned out better than my expectations and my wife loved it!

Well i needed a mens haircut but im a woman. and they said to me ..im sorry we cant give you that hair cut you need to go to a barber as a older gentlemen is paying for his mens haircut.

Best floral department in North Spokane! Their flower arrangements are very well made and last a long time!

The store is too small and the aisles are too narrow for how busy this store can be. And like in most stores theres always someone without a mask or a few people with it mostly hanging off their face.If you have to go through a check out, the area you stand is also narrow and short. The cashiers are notoriously slow.So I only shop here when I have to and I was given a couple of gift cards so there I was.Today I went through self check out and for some reason the lady overseeing it, one of the more unusually slow paced cashiers that usually works in the express lane for some reason, was a little too interested in what I was buying.I didnt ask for her help but she wanted to give it you dont have to bag the tissue (walks around my cart points at the card area and kind of looks at whats in my cart)I was at the cash register next to where they stand so she was already close I dont know why she had to do that. At the end of the first transaction, there she was right next to me again. She quickly opened each one of my bags like she was looking for something but said something about the bags getting sticky. I told her I wasnt finished.And then when I finished the second transaction she quickly leaned over from where she was standing and looked directly at the card I used to buy the item like she wanted to see what it was.the interaction felt like she thought I was going to steal something. But also it was just weird and irritating. Self check out means self check out. If I need help, theres a question mark on the screen.

Large store, tends to be more pricy but the deli & bakery are great.

What can I say? Its Safeway! The Shadle store is usually clean and fairly well stocked. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. Like most grocery stores across the nation prices are going up while product volume or net weight is going down. I was happy to find some diet Dr. Pepper! Havent seen that in this store for several days.

This safeway public bathroom is the grossest public bathroom I have ever seen. Seeming used feminine products shoved all over the place with fresh contaminants is disgusting! I understand people dont go to a grocery to use the bathroom but during a time when everyone is expecting sanitized businesses this is not smart.

Phenomenal brands, quality food and cleanliness. With quality comes increased prices. Youre able to accumulate points to put towards gas in return. Overall a good grocery store!

The stock selection is lacking in items or choices, but the customer service makes it a place worth going anyway. I really do appreciate the staff here. The prices are a bit steep, which is annoying when you dont have a whole lot of options close by. But they still make it worth your while.

My family and I love this Safeway. We avoid the one directly across the street from us just to go to this particular Safeway. They truely go above and beyond for guest services. Tonight for instance, Jenny the customer service gal, was extremely nice and understanding when I had a particular item that needed to be exchanged because the hubby grabbed the wrong kind. She was very easy to talk to and made the exchange quick and painless. The new remodel looks amazing. Highly recommend you shop here.

Well light, some items of course differ from other safeways, but this one seems to have the best all around variety. Good customer service.

Meat is too bloody expensive, and the cuts i bought were 1/3 fat that was cleverly disguised i.e. thin strip of exposed fat on top, inch wide on bottom.

First parking is plentiful. The store is laid out well, the produce is very good quality, and the butchers at the meat counter are all quite helpful.

Useing the Safeway app I saved 25$ was they had everything the app had coupons for and the store was clean and appropriately stocked

Safeway is funny. I really go for starbucks cuz shes the best but back to safeway. Their sandwiches are like pretty rad with the boar head. Im partial to the london broil but hey what can I say. Stop by the starbucks in your local store if the premium liquor cabinet is around. Much love

Safeway has become so very frustrating, its one thing to have a loyalty card, than a phone app, but to add on top of that a third level makes shopping so stressful. Its not the issue of money but why put out signs on items telling you its for only you such as today it was dounts 2 for a dollar, which you had to dig through the app to find than download the special, now on top of that I had to reapply the app like it was the first time I have ever used it. Than hold my breath that I would indeed be changed the right price.It took me 3 tries than only with the help of the checker did I get the correct price. Like I said its not the money its just dont offer specials if they dont want to honor them.Yokes is so much easier.I do want to add most of the people who work there are very frendly and offer great service its just the way they advertise their specials that drive you crazy. If you dont care about how much you spend and that you may well be changed way more than what the item is priced at, its an OK place.

I am so fed up with this store! I shopped at 6:00 am, special Senior hours, to avoid contact. Although there were only a few shoppers, the aisles were littered with employees paying no attention to one-way aisles and boxes and carts all over the aisles blocking our way. Meats were out of date and some hard to come by at all. The butcher department (which I needed to cut spareribs into thirds to make sweet and sours) doesn’t open until 9:00 am. So what’s the point of shopping early if there are no services?

Have some items that are harder to find, but prices generally are higher than most stores.

Its Safeway lol. Overpriced, but has very good produce, and their baked goods are great. Definitely install the app and make use of their digital coupons, much better savings than youd get using the card alone. They also run some good sales, just make sure to remind the cashier when checking out as some sale items dont ring up.

I give five-star-credit to the people that work here but Im not thrilled with Safeways selection, quality or prices.
