These guys are always helpful and even though the reason for my visit was a breakdown it was a pleasant experience. My truck gave them all kinds of problems and it took 6 days to fix but I live in the area and was able to stay home. Have been recently financially abused by Nate on the service dept. Issue is related to a $1,092 charge for a third party tow service they hired to bring my truck from the parking next to them. Yes, they charged me $1,092 for less than 50 yards of towing... And it was during business hours on a week day. Initially they said they didnt make money on top of the tow but now they say I cant discuss the cost with the tow company. I dont have a problem on paying for a service, but I am not taking this abuse. I am taking this all the way. Have sent an email including all managers. Lets see how far they want to take it.

Gary, the Frieghtliner front desk manager got my truck in that night. He was a little overwhelmed when I got there, but stayed calm and professional. He was very patient, as I was with him, knowing that most every business is under staffed. Kevin, a real go getter mechanic fixed my truck before they closed at 11pm, I really appreciate you guys for doing what you do. I hope all customers who come through remain patient and understanding. Frieghtliner at this location I highly recommend, everyone is friendly, and working as fast as they can to get everyone back on the road.

Good place to visit when you need some part and you driving 18 wheels. Sadly all parking spots was taken but I parked on the side. Worker was friendly and told a lot off good advices. There is a lot of items you can find here. I think they dont work on Sundays. Was not a lot customers so it was quick stop.

10-star service. Got us in right away to diagnose, Scott our service writer overnighted the part and told us exactly what to expect. We were traveling in motorhome with family of 7 and they went over the top and allowed us to stay in the parking lot. Roger (I think was technician’s name) was very kind and understanding to our situation of urgency and had us in and out faster than expected. Highly recommend this shop.

I have no idea why people put it a negative review about this place. I have not seen anything wrong, this is a great place, friendly environment and very helpful people, take cares of your warranties and many more. I strongly recommend to trucker if you broke down please go to this place and theyll take care of you and especially Ill name some people who help me a lot and very first name is TIM and Maria which in the beginning of when you go inside and they right up a job then Mr Randy and Mr Scott who helped me a lot and then the most important person yeah which is Mr. Ryan the service manager hes so humble hes a very gentle down to earth nice person and take care of your worries and I think Truckers should go there and fix the truck by timely manner they fixed my truck on time and whatever time they told me to. I dont know what else I can write about them because I dont have a more nice wording about them but at the end only thing I can say this is very great place and please dont listen to those negative reviews I dont know why they put it negative reviews, they might have a personal issues going on you know but I served as a gentleman and I took my truck they fixed and Im good to go.

Bought a 2020 Western Star from this location. DO NOT buy one from here, and Id venture to say buying a Cascadia isnt safe either.What happened: I addressed an issue with the electrical system (none of the electronics systems worked at all, one thing still does not work and everything is still iffy) before I even signed the paper. Their explanation was that it rolled off the factory line with the wrong electrical module in it. Nice, its always been true people are happier with Peterbuilts and Kenworths, and that is still very true to this day.A coolant hose to the DEF pump fell off, dumping all the coolant on the maiden voyage with less than TWO THOUSAND miles on it. The rats hid the fact the light by the fridge was broken by attaching it to the broken fitting. Drove one mile, it fell off.Now for the biggest shame of all; the power steering pump didnt work at all coming off the lot. At that point I was so exhausted and embarrassed I just rolled with it to get some money, I was already down from all of the breakdowns. A month later the bunk heater stopped working, three error lights in a pattern. The diesel gummed up and needed a cleaning. Almost froze to death when it went out, I woke up shaking and it was 15 degrees outside. It doesnt help that cold air DUMPS on you all night in the sleeper, sleeper window recall or no recall. At this point I feel like theyre trying to kill me because they know I was dumb enough to think getting a new Western Star was an acceptable idea. Recently Ive lived the expected nightmare of the gasket flanges going out on two of the drive wheels. Replaced the flange on the same wheel three times. The rear-view mirror on the right came out of adjustment, and fell off in a matter of a month. Good thing I realised before it was too late.Bottom line, didnt read it all: its hard to believe the crooks sold me the deathtrap unaware of issues with everything but the chassis and engine, and I mean that literally. Unbelievable they couldnt be bothered to run an in-depth inspection and testing of all parts before pawning it off to us. Its obvious they dont care, to the point theyd deceive me into buying something already deeply flawed and broken, and fully aware it will break down at any point in the future. Believe it or not, somehow it is worse at other locations. Ive driven 2017 Peterbuilt and Kenworth trucks, 300,000 miles with no issues whatsoever but software bugs.What did I ever do to deserve this treatment? Im not some prat who litters all over the dashboard, or throws jugs out the window. I take pride in what I own and operate, I washed this by hand the first time I went to Texas. Im eager to ditch this in the aftermarket and buy a real truck that wont keep me up at night, fighting off the strong draft. Loss or no loss, Im completely embarrassed.

Worst place, needed just to change the speed limit came here at 07.00am morning checked in the lady on cashier said its gonna take 1-2 hours until theyll be able to start working on it and said that they gonna call me whenever theyre ready! Waited for 9 hours in the the truck stop they never called me!And I called them myself (at 5.00pm same day) to check what is going on and asked about my issue the other guy told me that theyre not gonna be able to do that today the earliest time they can its tomorrow morning! JUST TO CHANGE THE SPEED LIMIT ON MY TRUCK!

Its not necessarily this location but we had the hermiston oregon branch rebuild our motor have had nothing but trouble since then we brought it to this branch still not fixed not happy the service writers are trying but the lack of quality workmanship is obvious.....update this location has fixed everything wrong with it here so far the service managers have made it right still disgusted with the Hermiston Oregon branch but this Spokane location seems good

Called and made a appointment to have oil changed in my coach told them I wanted full synthetic oil in main engine and generator. When I dropped it off I told them again full synthetic, all of a sudden the service manager came out and started telling me that was bad to use then another guy shows up and starts in on me then they drag a master cat mechanic in on it, i felt attacked and i just wanted them to do what I asked. Didnt get the synthetic!! Then I tell them theres two fuel filters on the generator that thats the way they come from the factory. 6 hours later I walk in to see where my coach is and the service manager acts like he just found out about the second fuel filter and says there waiting on it to arrive.. and to top it off my refrigerator quite working on gas so all my food is ruined.

I want to thank Jeremy and the technician that got me back on the road. They went beyond the call of duty. I am still surprised they had the part I needed. There was only one negative. I showed up at 0700 hrs. The truck was completed at 20:00 hrs. During this time I waited, I hung around the parts room sitting on tire chains and boxes of mud flaps. Also waited outside in there make shift Covid waiting area. When parts closed at 17:00hrs, I had no where to wait except outside. Yes i understand Covid rules. But not to have an area where passing through drivers can wait and relax while truck is getting serviced is just wrong. I would have expected a little more accommodation for the $3000 I spent there.ROC Enterprises

If youre near Spokane and need work on your truck, do yourself a favor and get it done here. I came in with multiple issues like a bad starter, trailer marker light out, and abs light. Tim and the staff had me out of there in about a day, one hotel night. Any trailer issues there is a great shop across st for that too. They actually come to find you for updates too instead of just leaving you sitting there praying like most repair shops. Well done Gentlemen!

Although I was very frustrated with the multiple issues and a couple roadsides breakdowns I had with my 2020 Western Star 5700XEI have to say Daimler/Freightliner and Spokane NW Freightliner did an excellent job in customer service. They covered my AGM batteries and my first PM. They understand a Western Star shouldnt have this many issues I encountered and they ensure a continuous follow-up to make sure Im satisfied as a Daimler customer.

Nice and big place but very lousy staff, I was waiting since 7am for Express check in to have them diagnose my check engine light but they took all day to check, never fixed anything. They were planning to keep me there for a couple of nights but I refused to stay, I had them cleared my codes and left. I know my def box 1 was replaced just 2 years ago but they already started to suggest changing box 1, which is extremely expensive, No Thanks!

Another typical experience with Freightliner, spotty at best. Some areas they are trying to do better but when it comes to the only reason a driver really visits these facilities Freightliner has serious failings. I feel like they are mostly interested in draining my maintenance account and to hell with competence. I actually had to show the young tech how to start my tractor. Apparently it was his first experience with a 3 point ignition. You would think that an air leak to the secondary would be not a huge problem to find. My truck is almost undrivable and worse than before I wasted 24 hours getting it serviced. Did they do a break test in discovery and did they road test it? Apparently not! They did what they always do and throw expensive parts at a problem because its not their money and theyre too lazy to learn the occupation. Lastly, dont claim to have a shuttle service when you dont have one😡

They gave many different quotes and after that, they tell me dont have part or cant fix problem, well then why give the quote if you dont have the part, it just frustrates everyone. Waited 6 days for 2 day job, job is not complete, . I feel overcharged and that wouldnt be bad if they dont keep down and not making money for 6 days.also they let batteries run dead and or shorted out system, because now my traction control light stays on, my headlight switches are out, all my dash settings need to be reset, Im not happy with this place.

Had to have parts ordered (done on a Tuesday) and was told that they would be in when I got there Saturday. I checked in first thing 7am and the guy in service department said there was no work order and that he couldnt find any parts that had come in for my truck. And that the body shop was closed on weekends. Lost 2 days of work over this! Came in again Monday morning, wasnt sure where body shop was, same guy is at service desk. He say did you get it sorted out? Just asked him where body shop was and went over there. Ladies in the office there were super helpful and got me in right away. Thanks ladies you turned my bad experience into a good one.

We brought our 2010 Freightliner Columbia to have a wiring problem fixed and a DOT inspection done. I suspected it needed some brake work done because I noticed some wear on the rear brake drums because there was a significant lip around the ID perimeter of the rear drums, after all said and done and 17K later, we pick up the truck and the check engine light came back on by the time I got to Reardon and felt like it dropped a cylinder. Got it back to the farm only to find out they only did the driver side rear brakes, didn’t hook my ELD back up, didn’t put the DOT yearly inspection sticker on the truck, more did they provide the inspection form itself. We had to call and have it mailed to us. Not a very thorough shop. Still has a side marker light out because the wiring harness is corroded, along with an intermittent ECU code 128. Very disappointing!

Took a week to diagnose one issue with truck. After 7 days and I quote “the tech skipped a few steps so we’re going to have to restart it all.” They also misdiagnosed another issue twice. They tried to charge me for multiple diagnostics even though they skipped steps. When I went to pick up the truck after two weeks I find my gps with a shattered screen. After I brought it to their attention they took responsibility and agreed to buy me a new one and have it mailed to me. 5 stars for being accountable for their actions. 1 Star for the service.UPDATE: All it took was 2 weeks for my truck to be back in a shop for the exact same issue I paid thousands for them to “fix”. This is the second time one of their “repairs” had to be fixed within a month of them doing the work. It took 27 days for my replacement GPS to arrive (Glad I don’t drive for a living, oh wait). After weeks of multiple calls, long hold times and promises of getting a call back. I received 1 callback and a voicemail during the whole ordeal. I finally just bought a new gps. I will pay thousands in tow bills before any one of their dealerships touches one of my trucks again.

We took our truck in to fix the brake system. Every time we went in to see if it was finished they gave us the run around. Said it needed a complete brake system. They quoted us $500 to put in a new brake system. Then after three weeks they said they had looked at it and all it needed was to fix a broken wire. So when we went to pick it up the bill was $1100!!!! To fix a broken wire???? We still dont know what they did. Dont trust these guys! They are incompetent crooks with horrible customer service.

We have a GSA bus which we have taken to this shop multiple times and each time it sits on the lot for weeks waiting for parts. A class B service should not take over 2 weeks. Every time the bus goes to that shop there is no communication from the shop about completion or findings. No updates on status what so ever. When you call the shop they usually give an answer of Im not sure of the status I will have the tech call you to which no call is received. Rarely is the original problem fixed, but no matter what they find a part the needs changed. I would not recommend this shop. In fact we have made other GSA operators aware of our unsatisfying experience.

My problem was I purchased the exact AC pressure switch from my local Freightliner dealer back in 2015. It was $70.50 then. The switch didnt last very long at all, less than 3 years and it was bad again..I purchased the switch from this Freightliner location and it was $92.00. It stung but I needed it and just paid it. I then called my home dealer and they quoted me $89.00 this time. Evidently, the switch price has gone up substantially in less than 3 years. As far as this freightliner location, I cant find fault with them except for the fact they are Freightliner therefore I added the 4 stars but never a 5 because like I said its Freightliner. I never really know for sure if Im getting a fair shake or not.

Shop foreman Tim was very conversative and professional and updated me on each step along the repair process. Actual bill was quite close to the estimate i was given. What can I say, they got us in very fast, but thats where it sat for 30 hours. It needed batteries before they could work on the overheating problem. The batteries were under full warranty but they were not a service center for that brand. So I ended up paying full retail for new batteries. We brought our motorhome in for overheating and they worked on it for 2 days. We left and it still overheated. We brought it back and they worked on it for 2 more days. We left there thinking it was done. Nope. On vacation no options had to take it to CATERPILLAR in spokane. Where it was fixed in under 2 hours! It was no better from the time we first brought it in untill the time we left the second time. I got some of my money back but not until the service manager tried every thing he could think of to not give me my money back. Even accusing me of Not caring about my family!! because I drove on after I knew there was an overheating problem going up big hills. I told him it didnt overheat if I stayed under 45. Besides the wife said we had to push on, we only had another week of vacation and we already spent 5 days there, at freightliner. I knew we could make it, so I drove to Caterpillar and they fixed it. Yah for Caterpillar.
