I had a stereo installed that never worked correctly but I stopped by (without an appointment) and Lauren was AMAZING in helping to switch it out on warranty. Many people will grumble and complain about things going wrong but won’t mention positive experiences. He also mentioned his lovely wife and is a proud father of girls! Lauren thank you man and I hope these props get you an atta boy!!! I also mentioned this to Zach. Great job helping my frustrations!!!!!!

Came in with a problem and they fixed it. Needed someone to do all the wiring for my rear bumper and the lights that went with it. The person that was going to do it had to bail and I needed it done so I could legally drive my truck after dark for the trip I was taking the very next day. I showed up when they opened and explained my problem and they squeezed me in. Zack attack was the gentleman I was dealing with throughout my ordeal at Aspen Sound. I keep going back there because of the customer service. Other businesses could learn a thing or two from Zack. Just my humble opinion though.

The sales staff was very good. But how ever I was not happy at all with the installation. They did not do the things I asked for and gave me a very lame reason why. I spent $3000 dollars they getting what I was asking for. So I will never go back or recommended you. The installation extra that I pay for was a simple job. When I got home I did it and it took two srews to remove and a clip. He tried to tell me he would have to remove the hole back set and would not do that much work. Witch was not true tge part I needed removed was only two screws and a clip that I showed him and he just walked away. So do your self a favor and dont go there.

Couldn’t be happier with the service I recently received at Aspen Sound in Spokane. If you go, ask for Ryan! He is extremely knowledgeable, and will make sure you get the best sound system for your vehicle that fits your budget.Ryan put a new sound system in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler which included a 15” sub in the back and 10” sub under the passenger front seat. He also replaced every single speaker and the front dashboard unit. Since I live out of town, he completed a 2 day job in just 1 day and offered to stay extra hours into the night to get everything done. Ryan kept me updated throughout the entire process and I really appreciated his communication and enthusiasm.The sound is amazing, crystal clear and perfectly balanced...I can’t imagine it being any better. I’ve been dreaming of getting this sound system for years and Ryan was the guy to make it a reality.Ryan also installed a 12” sub into my girl’s Subaru Crosstrek as well, and she was happy with the sound and impressed by how clean the installation was (she especially liked how the amp knob was perfectly placed).Overall, Aspen Sound and Ryan get a 10/10 from me and I highly recommend this company for all of your sound system needs!

Aspen sound maybe one of the worst for customer service. I had a new stereo and four speakers put in my truck. The owner before me had put in an inexpensive hands-free system for his phone. It was not done professionally but was not a mess either. When I set up my appointment I asked if they would make sure and take all the old stuff out. I need to say that I am not a car electronics installer, with that, how would I know what that stuff is so I could specify each thing that needs to come out. So, one day I have break light issue, and first I checked my fuse to make sure that was not the problem. When I opened that up, I see all this extra stuff and see that one of the boxes was marked Motorola and had a number on it. Googled the number to find what it was. I was not happy but figured they would make things wright. UM NOPE! I spoke with someone that gave me an appointment didn’t mention I would be paying for anything. When I show up for my appointment one of the installers is talking to the guy at the counter. When I told him my name, I am sure the account being discussed was mine as the didn’t even touch the computer when he told me that I would have to pay. As those words left his mouth the installer walked away with a smirk on his face. So, I explain to the guy it was supposed to be done when the stereo and speakers were installed. He said ya not noted you will have to pay. I know that I spent too much on install but I wanted a good job done. My takeaway, the rest of the stereo that I am going to put into my truck will not be done there. BTW my stereo is not working correctly, and I will not take it to them as I am sure they would want to charge me.So got a reply back to the first review, but I did have someone come out and look, and I did tell them in the first place when stereo was being put in to take that stuff out. I am not looking for anything other then what was agreed on in the beginning. Anyway kind of a waste of time at this point, something so easy to fix. Buyer be ware!!!!

It was great they helped me out right away unlike car toys as soon as I told car toys that I was not going to spend a 100$ the worker walked away and left me standing there so I left and went over to Aspen sound and got my power wire for my amp and I will go back again when I need more stuff for my system

Absolutely Amazing !!!! Excellent staff, service, installation.05/15/20I really felt the need to update my review.I had many different things done to my car at the same, sound system, remote start and HID headlights. Keep in mind my car is a 98 so they had some unique challenges. I cant tell you enough what an amazing job they did, I could live in my car now. My key fob quit working the other day so I took my car in yesterday because it is guaranteed for life. They ended up having to replace the brain. The installer happened to be the same smiling and extremely professional installer that did the original install, recently made store manager. Congratulations !!!!! Anyway, my key fob is doing the same thing today and I have no doubt I will receive the same professional attitude and smiles while they search for the cause. Thank you again for everything !!!!! Especially this day and age, it is so rare.

Fantastic experience this week with Aspen Sound. Zack and David from the North Division store went above and beyond my expectations. David started the process off with figuring out what I needed and when I could get the work done. Super friendly guy and smart! He remembered my first name and last name... four days later! Zack was also very friendly and informative. He showed me how the system worked and answered all my questions. Zack was enthusiastic when he was showing me about the product that was installed in my car. They believe in and are passionate about the products they sell and the work that they do. I worked here for 16 years before moving on to something different. I loved working here and can tell you they truly care about the customer and doing what is right. They wont suggest or sell you on something that wouldnt be best for you. There is one consistent that makes this place knowledgable and that is Brian Lombardi. He is a great salesman and beacon of knowledge in the entire car audio and home audio industry. If you ever need a home system designed, he is the guy. Kirk Payne the owner cares about his employees and is a very active owner, in the stores pretty consistently. They have actually good sales when they come around, not just a fluff way of calling something a sale to get more attention. They probably have the only true working example of a home audio set up to listen to and try out with home automation. Jeff Harper, their longest tenured installer of 17 years is a custom install genius. His fiberglass work and his ability to solve troubleshooting issues is by far the best in the region if not the entire state or country. Ryan Parke their second tenured installer is always very excited to try something the customer wants that they havent seen done before.Finding a locally owned place with this much talent and knowledge is hard to come by. Yes nobody is perfect, but when they do make a mistake, they always go above and beyond to take great care of the customer.

I worked with Brian at the Division store. He helped me pick out a deck and some speakers. He later gave me a call asking me why I wanted to replace my speakers. He told me that the speakers I already had in my truck were of higher quality.He went out of his way to save me over over $250. Im very grateful for the guys at Aspen Sound. Had a compustar alarm put in to get rid of the factory system in my forester. Manually locked my doors and the for some reason the factory alarm armed itself and went off. The compustar remote wouldnt shut it off and I had to stand there with my horn going off. The car wouldnt even start. What was the point paying 400+ dollars to get a new alarm if the factory one was still in the car. Looked up on YouTube to fix it myself and now it works like its supposed to.

We have purchased headphones for our car DVD player twice from Aspen Sound on Division and both times we have been blown away with how helpful and outgoing the staff and crew are at the store. They go above and beyond to make sure we are getting what we are looking for and to make sure we are happy with our decision. Ok so I just transferred my subs and amp from my old car to my new. However, there was a lot between this task and its completion. My new car had 2 10 stock subs already and the installation professional walked me through scenarios that we could accomplish and potential snags. In the end I bought a 12 sub had it installed and went home.But the magic really happened the next morning.I woke up the next day opened up the trunk and HATED how much space was now taking up. I called them up and they said; just bring it on over well take care of you.They took the 12 sub right back and hooked my 10s back up and ate just awesome all the way. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting anything from a stereo, to a after market remote start (WITHOUT needing an extra key fob), or anything!Truly great local business.

Ive worked with some if the Aspen sound crew on a few custom homes my company has built and got to know them. Then I had them put a full stereo in my 2013 gmc sierra, got the Alpine Halo9 and all 4 door speakers, and the jl stealthbox under the front seat. Other then a few technical problems with the Halo9 unit itself Ive had no problems with them. Great crew, always very friendly and honest.

Ive used Aspen Sound on North Division now for two different vehicles and products and I am very impressed. Ive used a few competitors in the past and one was awful another was also good but the product they installed was cheap (that was likely the dealer choice). Our first interaction was with the owner and he was wonderful to work with. Most recently we worked with Jose and he was amazing as well. I even went back in right after I picked it up as I had a small concern about my bluetooth radio audio. Even though they didnt do anything with my radio they still took the time to listen to it and double check nothing they installed could have caused the issue. I am very pleased with the quality of the work as well as the customer service! Every employee we interacted with at all was polite and helpful even if it was simply a helpful comment or greeting us. We will continue to take our business to them! Thank you all!

A while back I bought a car stereo online to install it myself. However, the wiring was trickier than car audio sites made it out to be. The wiring harness that sites said would work, did not work. Since Car Toys installed my last stereo, I called them first. They said they had the part, and I said that I would come get it. Got there and they tell me sorry, we dont sell parts without installation. Fine. Thats their decision. However, they could have told me that before I went all the way out there. So, desperately trying to find another option, I came across Aspen Sound. Ive driven past the store numerous times, but never stopped in. These guys had the part, they were knowledgable, easy to talk to, had no problem selling me the part or helping me with the rest of the installation even though I did not buy it from them, and made me feel like they actually wanted my business.Ive recommended Aspen Sound to everyone I know, whenever car audio comes up. My experience was awesome, at least at this store, and I have little reason to believe it will change. Before you go to a big chain store, give a more local business a shot, and I think youll be impressed!

I had a few issues, but David at Aspen Sound called me first thing this morning and has worked tirelessly all day to resolve them. The issues were with the financing company, not with the sound. The amp install was clean and it sounds better than I thought it would.I am very impressed with the fact that they actually care about the customers after we are gone. Aspen sound is amazing I have been to all the leading sound places and no one compares! I have used them on my custom truck as well as on my fiances car for his Christmas present. Jose is always a pleasure to work with and our installer was so amazing the car was giving him trouble and instead of throwing in the towel as other companies would have done they took the extra time to figure out the problem and my fiance is so excited to have his Christmas present complete! I shopped around for an IPhone integrated head unit and backup camera at; Car Toys, Sounds on Wheels and Aspen sound. Aspen sound had 2015 models that were on sale ($100 off), winning my business. The only price differential between them and the competitors was the discounted head-unit; which all in it was $1,180 at Aspen. I scheduled an appointment for 12-4 that ended up going till after 7 due to “the car in front of me” so I had to wait in town. I arrived to find just the manager left inside and the tech taking my car out. The tech did a good job on wiring in the car but there was grease left all over the outside after (and some on the inside panels he worked on), fortunately the grease was not hard to clean up. Also, they needed to charge me another $20 for a longer cable to run. It wasnt a big deal because they assured me that I got “such a good deal” because the assistant included tax on my invoice but not in the actual price (it would’ve been around $1,280). Aspen’s “great deal” would have been a rip-off if they had included tax, then it would have been the exact same price as their competitors but for a year older head unit. I enjoy the stereo after installation but the backup camera is pointed directly out like looking out your back window, not right behind you. It makes it so I am unable to actually tell the closing distance while backing up, exactly what I need for my parking garage. I brought my car back a week later and asked for it to be adjusted but their response was “They would have to custom make some plastic to adjust the angle of the camera. It will take two hours (but they cant do it now) and will cost $70”. I asked why $70 to actually do it right and why it wasnt covered by their guarantee, they responded “because of making the piece of plastic and fitting it to get the right angle after backing the screws out”. I know the plastic will be cut off a sheet and they use a Phillips head to back the camera screws out, then when they screw it back the angle will change. The toughest part of the process is making sure the camera adjusts to be pointed at the right angle, something I figured a backup camera installer would do initially. In the end I figure it is something that I can do for free and hopefully relatively easy. It is unfortunate that they dont stand by their work while they are a premium priced shop with a “guarantee”. I have brought three cars to Aspen Sound in the past and I do not plan on doing it again or recommending them to friends.A week after bringing my car in to have the camera fixed and posting a review I received a follow up phone call from Jose at Aspen sound. He explained that although their tech had said it was incorrectly installed and tried to bill me for it, they would stand by their installation and fix it for free. Jose also mentioned using this as a learning opportunity for the tech and store employees to understand how they stand by their work. When I was able to I brought my car back and they installed a new camera. The new camera is now angled down and is exactly what I wanted when I started looking for one. It may have taken three trips in, a brutally honest public review and 2 hours past their estimated time each visit but they made sure I was happy. I would recommend Aspen sound, just be sure to price shop with their competitors and if you ever have a problem, talk to the manager about it.

Early February I came in looking to have a remote start installed on my Ram 1500. I worked with a few of the guys on getting to know what each system had to offer. I knew that I wanted one of the higher end ones and when I picked one out we went through the process of setting up install times and payment. This all went flawlessly. Come install date and install happened in less than an hour. A few days later I started to notice the system was not strong enough to reach the truck from a lot of my locations. I went back in and talked to Jose and after some discussion we came to a ageeement to step me up to the highest end Compustar remote start system. At this time I also decided to replace my front door speakers. I spent a large amount of money on this and was expecting only the best, and thats what I got. Now I am working with the guys designing my sound system. As usual its been a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do anything from just some new speakers to a full vehicle overhaul.

I came from another shop that had incorrectly installed my audio system. The head unit had fused the wiring harness to the back of the unit making it unusable. Thanks to their connections with the manufacturer they were able to get it warrantied. There work is immaculate and professional. They treated me well that ended up upgrading my subwoofer with their help.

Amazing customer service. I recently purchased a Double Din Kenwood and it has stopped producing sound. I called them and they were able to get me in the same day. After looking at the radio, they replaced and got me on my way in less than an hour.When selecting a place to purchase and install, I called around and found that Aspen was not necessarily the cheapest, but they thankfully have been the best.Recommendation, call around and see for yourself.

My first time in the store. The sales rep I had was awesome. He led me to exactly what I wanted. And it was on sale. I ended up buying a ported box for a good price. And Ive been bumping with it for the past three months no issue. Though one guy behind the counter was rude and pushy. I didnt like that mich and we argued a little bit. Nothing big. So I ended up blowing my voice coil on my sub. I went in and got a rocker fosgate p2 the upgrade of what i blew. And in a week. The new sub blew. I ended up returning the sub. And the rude guy from 3 months before actually helped me out a lot this time around. Showed me what I did wrong. And honored the warranty. He was very professional. This store is a good one. Some guys might seem rude from time to time. But its a business in the end. And they do business very well. Ill definitely go back for things needed in the future.

These guys were great. I bought an electric start for my 2010 Chevy. 4 months later cruise control wasnt working. We were advised to take back to Aspen Sound to check the wiring. They troubleshooted with no problem and found out it was burnt bulbs.They replaced them. I was out the door for cost.Thank you again for your dedication to customer service. All was well during the initial consultation. I went in looking for tower speakers and a 12 sub for my boat and the salesman helping me promised me all sorts is free goodies. I ended up buying 2 10 tower speakers, two subs, a new deck and 2 amps which was all well and good. The issue I have was with the salesman. He promised me he would throw in a free dial to adjust my tower speaker sound and my sub level because as he put it we like to throw in free gifts. My tower was previously wired for tower speakers and the salesman said the wires may not work so charged me for a new wiring harness to go up my tower. This is where the issues arouse:I get a call around 10 pm stating I have to come down and pick my boat up because it was done and they had to put other vehicles on the bay. How inconvenient. When I get there I pay $5200 bucks and take my boat home. I read the receipt a few days ago and I was charged for the dial adjustment the salesman promised me was free and for new wires to go up my tower even though they used the existing harness and connections! What a joke. If you have a big project go elsewhere because this place promises but does not deliver. Also, I am not sure if my tower speakers are supposed to hum loudly when the sound is not to load but they do badly. Could be the old existing wires they decided to use and charge me for? Im not sure but Ill be taking it back in for them to take a look at it soon. I was going to have them put in a couple more 6 inch tower speakers and another 12 inch sub this fall but they lost my business. I will be going elsewhere.

I came in needing some help with custom headlights that I bought in Seattle. Even though I didnt buy them at Aspen Sound they still said they will help! They went out to look at my lights and said I needed this bulb and said even how to replace it. The bulb Orellys wanted me to buy was twice as much and even a cheaper bulb than my car called for. I tried the new bulb and still didnt work. They said the next thing would be my ballast box. So they had one in stock and it worked!!! They gave me a refund of the bulb. They said shop time would cost more money but I could do it myself. So I drove away shaking my head in awe of getting that much help, especially now days.

Ive been a customer of aspen sound for over 10 years now. Started after I had my car stolen and had to replace my stereo system, started at a competitor down the street and they wanted to charge an extreme amount of labor and cheap components since it was an insurance claim. Aspen for the same price as the other guys quoted was able to put in a high end system and arranged everything with the insurance company. The thing I am most impressed with is anytime I have any issues they are more then willing to help out and not charge for it. They stand behind their installation and products. Great service during and after the sale, I highly recommend them to anyone. The dealings with all the employees has been great and the manager Brian makes sure everything goes well.

Was having an issue after trying to install a used kenwood nav stereo but no sound. Called them and was asked to come in so I came in planning to pay for their diagnosis and was happy to pay just wanted it to work. The staff immediately came out and gave good advice to which I could have left and tried their advice at home but planned to leave the vehicle over night when another very knowledgeable and friendly staff member came out and found it was a simple fix and gave me the answer I needed to which the problem was resolved immediately and at no cost to myself. If I had money at the time I would have given the largest tip I’ve ever given. I will certainly be back and am extremely pleased with the guys at aspen

Horrible customer service. They gave me two different estimates on how much it would cost to hook up my subs and my CD player the first estimate was $100 the second one was $210. Then they try to tell me that they would never hook it up for hundred dollars. I would NOT recommend going to Aspen sound! From what I experience they just try to squeeze money out of you. That called me back and explained why the estimates were so different apparently the first guy that gave me the estimate didnt realize how much work needed to be done and the second guy that gave me an estimate saw what needed to be done. I give them props for calling me back and explaining this to me👌🏽

I went in because my amp was cutting out and restarting itself, I waited a solid 30 minutes before anyone even realized I needed help. When they cant out to my car all they did was point out things I need to upgrade, criticize my car, and tell me to do ridiculous things. He went back inside, brought out another sub at 2ohms, wired it up and got it to work. He told me my amp isnt rated for 1 ohm, which it is, and that I would be better off buying 2 4 ohm subs and getting rid of the one I have now. All I wanted was a diagnosis on what was wrong. Turns out they were all wrong. Its a battery and alternator issue because my car was not made to handle things like this. I refuse to buy anymore stereo upgrades here, except for wire, harnesses, or dash kits.

The owners after the bad experience I had, did call me and try to make things right. That does say alot for there management. I will see how it goes in the future. Obviously the owners care about customer service and as a business owner that shows they do try and keep there employees well trained. If you have a problem there the management will try and fix it.

I had an excellent experience working with the manager Jose and briefly with a couple of his staff a few weeks ago. I know they stand behind their product and will take the extra effort if needed to make a customer happy. I purchased a premium compustar Alarm system from them probably 6 or 7 years ago. Is been acting up recently and I needed help turning on passive arming. Despite not having my receipt, Jose hag his techs work on it for me anyway. They went above and beyond and spent Im sure more time on this than they wanted, but they got it all working. Its now been several weeks and no random problems anymore. I also went back a second time for another issue, which he helped me with as well. Any shop that treats a passing customer like this will earn my business every time. Buy with confidence.

This is a high end audio store...That being said I am a disabled poor person that loves car audio. I have only bought one stereo item from Aspen sound I get most my deals online but they are always happy to help me even though I have never used there install service and only one sub was bought from Aspen sound. to me that is class the other 2 stores in town dont want their people to help you unless u bought the entire setup from them but aspen sound has made money from me on wires and fuse boxes ect and when i needed a sub replaced I chose them and always get the best service period

👎👎👎 WORST car-installation EXPERIENCE EVER!!!😩👎👎👎 My initial appointment with Aspen Sound was a huge ❌ RED FLAG ❌I was initially told a price-match quote for remote start/keyless entry. When arriving to my appointment last week I was informed that they would not be able to honor the quote that was given to me and I would have to pay another $170 because of my car type. I said that has to be wrong because upon making this appointment, my vehicle make and model was searched and I was told 2 different times it would only be a certain amount. When I was about to leave, he said he could do it for another $130. At this point, I felt like I was trying to get up-selled and I asked for the General Managers info and left.We spoke to the GM later that day, Brian Lombardi, he agreed with the initial quote.I came back for my 2nd appt at 1:00pm on 12/19/2018 and ONCE AGAIN... an employee of Aspen Sound told me that it is going to be MORE MONEY. I told him to speak to the GM. While I was walking away from the counter the worker said sarcastically, Man I love my F$%^ing job. 😒 I cannot believe the level of horrible customer service these employees of the North Division Aspen Sound. THE WORST PART IS... they never completed the installation I was paying for!!! THEY SAID MY CAR WOULD BE DONE BY 5:00PM. I finally showed up around 6:15 after receiving no calls that my car was completed/that they would need more time. They kept my car until 7:30pm and I was told to SHUT UP twice by the General Manager, Brian Lombardi, after I made contact with him while I was awaiting for my car outside the closed store. There was 1 worker, Ryan, who was taking my car apart according to Brian Lombardi. It was well over 6 and half hours they were working on my car with NO COMMUNICATION. I received a call around 7:30pm that Ryan took my car out of the garage, left it unlocked and my keys on the floor and DID NOT DO THE JOB!!! I had left the store after sitting outside for 45 minutes on and off the phone with GM Brian Lombardi as he was highly disrespectful and very vulgar. He also said we are doing you a favor and that Ryan is missing his employee Christmas party because of me. 😳My car was sitting unlocked at night in North Spokane with the keys in plain view. I am floored at the unprofessionalism, disrespect and the chaos of the whole entire staff--- mainly the General Manager.

I just wanted to say I came in Tue April 17th to get a quote for remote start on my Honda Fit and Zach A. Provided amazing customer servic. As soon as I walked through the door he looked up with a smile and greated me, he then walked around the counter and asked how he could help me... I told him what I was looking for and he immediately went to talk to the install guys do to the fact that I drive a manual, he came back explained everything that would need to be done and why, he even wrote all the prices down on the back of his card. He shook my hand, thanked me for coming in and told me To call if I had any more questions.... that right there is customer service, he should be in charge of training your sales guys on proper customer interaction... unfortunately you guys were almost $200 more expensive then a quote I got later that afternoon wich makes me a little sad because he really won me over... I might come back in just because of his service though.

Darion,Jose, and Dimitri helped me find a new deck and install an amp. I asked darion about competitor prices and he shopped for me at the register to make sure I was getting the best deal possible. Dimitri gave me a ride to work in the morning and Jose gave me a full tutorial and configured the settings for me. Could not ask for a better customer experience. Thanks a lot aspen sound.

Was very disapointed in them. Orgionally we were going to buy from car toys but the sells rep stunk and wasnt very knowledgeable so we went to aspen sound. Everything went great and we were quoted an hour on our prious and was told $400. Then an hpur went by and they said it would be the next day at noon. We get another call saying it wont be ready till when they close and also they raised the price from $400 to over $1000. They didnt even know that it had a backup camera on the pruis and an amp that come stock with it. I have to say we will never go back again.

Too bad zero stars are not an option. I bought a new car stereo with blue tooth for the phone. Returning for my installation, they told me if I still wanted my steering wheel controls to work, it would be $150 in parts plus installation. The guy treated me like it was my fault I didnt realize my original quote was not correct. I had no idea it was not included in the original quote. No apology, just an arrogance. He even asked if the salesman talked to me about it and I replied no expecting he might apologize for him. I asked for a refund and left and plan to go to Car Toys. Should have gone there first. No time for piss poor customer service.

I have had an issue with my after market power locks and windows since I have had my truck. The previous owner had a mickey mouse way of installing the actuators and such that they give me trouble every winter. I had taken it to an installation business in the Valley, of which I live, and experienced the WORST customer service in 15 years. I resorted to trying to diagnose and fix the issue myself. I took the time to take both doors apart and went to Spaldings to get a replacement part. They couldnt order it for me, but (Adam) referred me to the NORTH SPOKANE ASPEN SOUND. I walked in, explained my situation and the store manager himself came out and looked at my doors. DARIAN JORDEN (store manager) was able to order me part, and grouped it with other items to SAVE me money on shipping. He called me to let me know that the part had been ordered and called when it came in. When I went in to pick up the part, the Assistant Manager JOSE ALEXANDER completed the transaction with humor and respect; and it turns out, its worth driving way out of your way to receive EXCELLENT customer service! I not only would recommend this location to do business with, but I will continue to use the ASPEN SOUND on North Division for my future installation needs. Not only was my issue resolved, but I was treated as a paying customer should be. Thank you so so much for the outstanding customer service and the good laughs guys!!!!

I cant rate Aspen Sound off Division on installation or service. I can only rate them based on my experience with their sales staff from earlier today.I went in because of their positive Google reviews. I have a 2005 pickup truck with stock deck and speakers. I had done my research on prices and features Im looking for: Bluetooth; Voice; 1.5a USB; 2 vs. 4; Etc.When I got there my experience was less than stellar. I received the cliched Used Car Salesman service. I told them what I was interested in, that I had a budget, what features I wanted, and my usage in the truck. At first it was okay with some decent options shown but none of my semi-technical questions could be clearly answered. It was clear the salesman was searching for and coming up with answers that were vague and, in some cases, not-an-answer. Plus, he instantly started selling me speakers. I was okay with this at first because I did say Im interested in speakers but not if it takes me over my budget. He attempted to upsell and stick with a single unit and when asked why he was sticking with the one deck was unable to give any clear or solid answers/reasons why. It wasnt because he totally believes in the unit or it has all these features that suit my needs or even because its a solid and best bang for my buck. It seemed like it was because it was on sale and they wanted to move them - like restaurant specials.Even after I had already said I wasnt buying today, just information/option gathering I was still pressured into Installation slots fill up fast or The deal ends... I think in two days... I even experienced two salesmen half-way arguing about warranty, cost, and coverages. It was not just a little embarrassing. Plus they wouldnt drop the speakers when I let them know this deck sounds great and is an option but that means no speakers this time.The nail in the coffin was the open box sales pitch. Oh, we have this AWESOME deck that normally goes for $700-$750 but if you dont mind a 90 day warranty we have it here for only $500! He went on about how awesome the deck is, how a long standing customer returned it for blah blah blah reason and only used it for 8 months and how, if he hadnt just bought a different model, hed so buy it himself.The open box deck is a Kenwood DDX9903S which retails, brand new, most places both internet (Amazon) or local (Best Buy) for... $500-$550. As an added insult and pricing out the actually total cost after tax, installation, and expected parts for installation we were looking at an additional $181.50. Oh! And thats not including the extra installation cost for the speakers. Not unreasonable but also adds, at least, another $81.50 for the $179 + tax speakers he kept pushing/assuming I WAS going to buy. Additionally, as a consumer, all this speakers now pushing wasnt even for any benefit to me. Its not like I was going to get any type of deal or discount on installation of the deck and speakers together at the same time.Some might think this isnt much but when youre on a budget, just trying to get some enjoyable music in your truck for your daily commute, and not trying to enter into some car audio bling competition.. thats a lot. And even then he still continued to make a paper note in anticipation of following up with me or me returning tomorrow that said blah blah blah in-dash deck with front speakers and maybe rear.No, good Sir. That deck, at that price, and all the additional fees and costs, it was clear that speakers are not an option this time! I feel dirty just recalling my experience there today.Going to try another place tomorrow and hope to get some really knowledgeable, passionate (about the gear, equipment, and customer needs instead of how much can I sucker this poor sap into spending), and honest folks. Aspen Sound is clearly not in those categories.

THE BEST PLACE EVER TO GO FOR CAR AUDIO HOOK UPS!!!!!!! Exilent serves the guys at aspen are really cool and fun to talk too!! The got the best brands for a great price and outstanding installations fast, easy, and look absolutely amazing!!!! I will alway and forever go to aspen sound on north division in spokane for any aftermarket install and i would suggest everyone else go to aspen too!!! I had a great experience with the guys at that store they do what ever it takes to make sure there customers are 110% satisfied before they leave the store!!

Great service. I had trouble with my subs(2 jl 10). One was working and one was not. They were both fine and not blown but couldnt figure out what was wrong with the subwoofer. I went in and got set up with 2 r2 12s and a rockford r500-1. Helped me out quite a bit. Will be going to aspen for everything now. Go to them for anything even if its just a question like mine. Worth it!

This place is bad. I had them install a car alarm it cost me $500. The car alarm drained and ruined my battery, I had to have my battery replaced. I called them and told them that they may have fried the wiring in my car. They want to charge me $200-300 (labor charges?!?) to remove the alarm system. So it will cost me $700-800 dollars for an alarm system that will no longer be in my car. I will have paid them $700-800 for absolutely nothing!! I think that when they were installing in older cars in the 80s and early 90s they were an ok shop, but with todays newer cars and technology, they became obsolete. If youve got money to burn, go in here, for the rest of us, you better avoid this place. Theyre rip-offs. And Im afraid to let them touch my car again too. What will they screw up next? They have me between a rock and a hard place.

Well I had a problem hooking up my dvd player in my ride, the techs got the problem fix, the dude at the front counter either didnt want to be there or he had a problem with me in general, he was kind of rude and really direct when I asked him a question like I was stupid or something and then when I drop my keys off he said he would call me when its done he never called me I had to go there 10 minutes before they closed to get my car but my honest opinion I wouldnt let one dude stop it its a good place to be get your car and home audio equipment
