By far the best buying experience I have had buying a car. Hannah Carney was amazing start to finish. She didnt beat around the bush about price like some other Mazda dealers I have dealt with. She kept me up to date on when the model/color car I wanted, was going to be ready for me to pick up. I reached out on line early June to Vic Bailey Subaru regarding an Outback I was interested in. Rick Veit contacted me and coordinated everything quickly. I ended up trusting Rick and buying a different Outback he recommended and I decided to buy sight unseen - I just had a gut feeing I could trust Rick and I was struggling to find time to drive over to the dealership to handle this. He had the vehicle sitting in my driveway within 1 business day. I was in disbelief that this went so easy and have been waiting to see what would go wrong. It has been over 45 days, the car and everything has been great! I literally didnt have to leave my house for any part of this...even to get tags. Im still in shock that I found this place and Rick. It is so hard to find people and businesses you can fully trust to start and finish the job timely and with such openness and honesty. Vic Bailey Subaru has been there every time we have needed them. If was to buy a new Outback, have body work done because of a hit and run, or to do routine service, they have been there each and every time to meet our need and with excellence.There is another Subaru dealer so much closer to home but they unlike Vic Bailey Subaru do not seem motivated to offer the same level of service as Vic Bailey Subaru. They do not return phone calls or follow-up on messages left. It is well worth the extra miles to go to Vic Bailey Subaru. They do what they do and they do it extremely well.

Had the pleasure of working with Rick on a used Subaru Outback. It was by far the least painless car purchase Ive experienced to date. No high pressure sales from Rick or the Finance guy. I was able to complete everything online, via text message and over the phone, and have my vehicle delivered to my door 2 hours away. As far as I could tell they had the lowest doc fee around on top of low prices. Pleasant experience all around. Next time were in the market for another Subaru well check back in with Vic Bailey Subaru.

I went for a test drive and negotiation of a car. The salesman Jeremy had a lot of patience and did an excellent job, by giving me all the details.Two days later I decided for the acquisition of the vehicle. I called the dealer to have mye-mail address corrected and also to set up an appointment with the salesperson.At this point the nightmare started. There was more than one person who did not show an interest, to provide a decent customer service. Out of frustration Ive just decided to hang up and take my business somewhere else.

Do not do any kind of business with this collision center. The main business for oil changes and normal maintenance is completely different than the collision part. Maintenance area does an outstanding job but the collision center does false or 0 communication on repairs. They tell you they are going to call you back and dont. 2 day repairs turn into 6 day repairs because they dont do the estimates correctly and prepare for all parts needed. I will be going on many social media platforms to discuss how poorly the collision center is ran. If I could give 0 stars for a revie, I would

Customer service, customer service, customer service!!!!!! My wife bought a 2017 Outback, and a few days later, the bumper popped loose on the drivers side. I was able to push it back in, but a week or so later, it popped back out. I took the car back to the dealership and spoke to the people in the collision center. The only permanent fix was to replace the bumper. (Around $800.00) I went and spoke to the Finance Manager, who in turn spoke to the sales manager. They agreed to replace the bumper for me. I cannot say enough about the impression this made on me, and they have likely gained a customer for life!

Got a good deal on a used Forester that was a trade in. Bailey had records on the car and included a comprehensive service fixing all the open maintenance issues. My 2017 Outback got T-boned by a deer yesterday. Vic Bailey Collision Center handled my claim with insurance, Joe got the estimate done right away, and my insurance approved the claim. There were other Mazda dealers closer to me but I went here because it had better reviews than the others in the area. I recommend coming here if you are interested in purchasing a Mazda. When we decided to take the drive to see the car in person we were met by the same salesperson we were dealing with via email and found the car to be exactly as stated. Wasted 4 hours of my time.Placed $500 deposit down on a used outback that was flawless, not a scratch on it. I drove down from the north side of charlotte to find the multiple dings and scratches and well as an entire hood that had 20+ spots w here the clear coat was eroded completely. Sales rep was apologetic and offered to fill my tank with gas, but no replacement for time and the manager just said maybe this is not the car for you after having completely misrepresented the condition of the car.

Service and maintenance department has always been on top of it. I take my wifes car as well as mine here every 5k miles for inspections and oil changes if I dont have time myself. The service experts are always so kind and have never been pushy on services. I am always afraid I will get that person that says I need x, y, and z replaced, etc. Never had that problem here.

I have been a fan of Vic Bailey Mazda since purchasing a 2015 CX-5 and so from that time I have driven the extra miles for service, bypassing a closer Mazda dealer. Yesterdays visit was a little different. Just needed an oil change and reset of ABS. In the past I presented any coupons when paying, but this time I was told that the coupon could not be used because I didnt present it before service. (When I checked the fine print on the coupon it did not indicate that it must be presented prior to service. It did say please present coupon prior to write-up...) Instead of the discount I was given a handwritten statement on a card for the discount at a future visit, despite the fact that this discount supposedly ended in less than 30 days. So I would need to drive out of my way again to use the card. (After returning home I checked with the local Mazda dealer and found that an oil change would have cost the same as I paid. So,, was it a waste of my time to show loyalty to Vic Bailey?)In addition, when I double-checked about the ABS being reset I was assured that it was done and there were no problems. So I also asked how it could be reset in the future if it acted up again because this has been an ongoing problem. The service person showed me what to do and I told her I had tried that for months and it did not work. So she took the car for another look by a mechanic and soon returned to say that I probably needed a new part which costs $700. Normally I would have the repair done immediately, but I was wondering why this had not been mentioned prior to check out as it would have been in the past. (I felt that I was getting the bums rush and began to wonder if I could believe the new information I was getting. I was the only customer at the time so I could not understand why my questions about the ABS or coupon were a problem. The answer about the coupon was because it takes too much time to re-print the bill. No reason given why I was not informed about the ABS, as would have happened in the past.)So I do not know whether there have been changes when it comes to customer relations, how much COVID is adding extra stress on employees, or whether this was merely an unusual occurrence. In the meantime I plan to seek a second opinion about the ABS problem before getting it repaired and evaluate whether driving the extra miles to show loyalty to Vic Bailey is worth my time. I still think Vic Bailey offered the best deal when I purchased my CX-5.

You can begin the process online and get a specific quote nearly immediately on the vehicle you want. The purchase day itself was painless and prompt. This was one of the best car buying experiences I can ever recall. Jeremy was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very accessible for questions via cell, phone, email, etc-always quick to return your call or reply to a text but was never pushy or made me feel any pressure to make a purchase. You can tell that customer satisfaction is his top priority. This is our first Subaru and after this experience and how well our 2020 Crosstrek drives, our next vehicle will be another Subaru and will return to Jeremy at Vic Bailey to do business.

Typically my service is great at this location. I usually have the same representative do the intake for my car and they update me as I wait. I was told 45 minutes for my oil change I made with an appointment. It took 1.5 hours for the oil change and they didnt update my cars software. I really needed this service done because my cars system is freezing constantly. I didnt have time at that point to wait another 45 minutes for the update and will need to make another appointment.

While researching the internet for a 2020 Outback/Ascent I received assistance from Jonathan at Vic Bailey Subaru. Jonathan was very helpful in a no-nonsense, no pressure way. We communicated via email (a lot!) and he was always very prompt and thorough in the info he provided. That, combined with the dealerships very aggressive, best deal up front policy, made me feel that I would be receiving a extremely fair price.In the end, we bought a 2020 Ascent Touring from a dealer closer to home but I wanted to leave this review on Jonathan. Hes an excellent, very professional sales person. I highly recommend him!

Im still blown away by the quality and easy of service I received from shopping at Vic Bailey. Ive been hunting for a MX5 for over a year and every dealership just tacked on useless fees and random add ons. I reached out to Vic Bailey Subaru/Mazda and got a response from Rick almost instantly. Rick was great over e-mail and text and presented me with the price for the car OTD without any surprises. The price worked for me and I was on the lot the next day. Once there, Rick was super supportive and guided us through the whole process. I just cannot stress enough how amazing it was to not have any surprise fees added or bs once we got there! (drove almost 3 hours from Atlanta). The only downside to the whole experience was the wait to get into the finance office, which was almost 2 hrs.

We had a great experience with Anthony! Thank you so much! However my son had initially dealt with Fredrick Veit & he was very pushy with my 16 year old son. He sent him numerous text messages to the point my son came to me & said mom this guy is making me uncomfortable. He also didnt present the car that my son was looking at properly. Called to schedule an appointment for a recall issue with hatchback. And asked if they could look at my transmission cos I wasnt getting acceleration. They called back and said it was good but recommended a tune up. Just change spark plugs and labor $400+ and a fuel system flush and clean$200+. I said that is very expensive, and just do the fuel flush. Go pick it up and with a coupon they had applied final cost was $306. I was upset but just paid my bill and thanked them for taking care of my car.If you give people a fair price first time you will get their money every time, instead of one time like a stick-up job. I got a text from service manager and I said I will not be coming back here for service again. I can do things cheaper or find someone to do it for less.

Let me to start off by saying that I live in Greenville. Ive worked with another Subaru dealership down the road that didnt quite want to earn my business. It rhymes with Fairway Subaru...I digress, I have worked with Hannah on two vehicles at Vic Bailey and she is outstanding! I highly recommend Vic Bailey if youre in/around Spartanburg. We just bought our 1st Subaru! It is a 2020 Subaru Ascent! Love this vehicle! But our purchase experience was amazing. This dealership is low pressure and does everything right to win your business.
