The sales rep was in a rush or just didnt care about what I saying regarding the computer I wanted. She was a bit combative. She just over talked me and proceeded to insult me by telling me how one was going to cost more or that the color of the computer I made a comparison with was different without attempting to find out what I wanted. The color, the cost? Why did she make those immediate assumptions I wonder? The GM was manning the check in desk. When I went back to him to ask for a different Sales rep, he immediately told me how great the girl I had was. He asked without caring why, but that figures because I watched as they quickly had a quick exchange and celebrated with a high five before I got back to him. I left feeling awful and honestly confused.I had a great experience a week or so before purchasing a computer for my daughter for school. The young man was patient and helpful.He too had others to help but didnt rush us with our questions. He is why I decided to go back the next weekend to buy a second laptop for myself. I left empty handed. I am very disappointed in Best Buy they used to do better.

Great staff, always clean but dont go in here expecting to actually walk out with anything. Their inventory is always empty, just stick with only retailers, and at that point just purchase direct.Update: Avoid purchasing anything here without researching the product, Best Buy is just a reseller after all so when they sell you a piece of junk like they did me. Youll be given just enough time to figure out youre not doing something wrong the product is just cheap marked up trash and Best Buy sells it. Id honestly just avoid going here for things when you can order direct. 0-2

The employees at this location are very nice and helpful, but if Corporate would not redirect your call to an 800 number, then you could call and see if they had what you want in stock. But because they do not have a direct number, and they keep you on hold for a half an hour, you end up driving all the way over only to find out they dont have what you want. 😬

I have been visiting this location for many years. The staff is always a toss up of who you get and what you are looking for. I used to always visit to get movies and electronics however after recently downgraded their stock on movies to one shelf and three separate box caps which as an avid film collector I found this disappointing however I still recommend if you are in the area this location for any quick electronic needs.

Got sniped on a popular graphics card at the Greenville location by one minute so we checked online inventory and hoofed it over to the Spartanburg location. With ten minutes to spare until closing, we got the card we wanted and the staff were super friendly. Painless to shop here, we will be back, worth the trip!

Very bad costly experience with the Spartanburg.SC Best BuyBought cell phone based on getting it in 2 days. Time was important because I was going out of town. UPS say they dont have it and Best buy says its shipped. Tracking says a label was printed. Still being at warehouse and not refunding my money and being told to take it up with UPS is no way to treat a customer that has spent hundreds of dollars is no way to treat people. Ups says they dont have it and Best Buy says they dont have it. They wont even make a phone call to UPS. They have taken my money and as of today they refuse to help in the smallest way. If you read this and still want to buy from them good luck with them but I am finished with people that treat me like this.

I really do love visiting Best Buy. Theyve been doing internet price matching for a while now, and ever since then, I love making purchases at Best Buy. I hope they are able to still turn a profit, even while price matching competitors like Amazon. I would REALLY hate to lose the ability to browse and buy locally. Theres a lot to be said for buying locally and the instant gratification of getting what I want, NOW!LoL. Besides all of the above, theyve got pretty good selection, quite a few sales associates, and clean stores. A worthwhile stop for electronics and household items.

Store is nice and well organized. The issue I have is I have came in the store on two separate occasions looking for earphones. On both occasions no associates are in the area to help customers. Since some items are locked and there was no around to help I ended up leaving. Not sure whats going on at this location but the customer service could definitely be better.

Customer service was just not good.I bought a 75” TV as Open-Box in excellent condition. When I saw that “Open-Box” actually meant no box, I got a little concerned. I was especially concerned since I was supposed to travel 45 minutes in rush hour traffic back home with a TV in the back on my van with no protection at all.When I asked the guys who helped load it into the car if they had any boxes or bubble wrap to help protect my new purchase, they proceeded to tell me no. One employee (Geek Squad, I believe) even started to get an attitude with me while I was trying to figure out how to get it home safe. He angrily told me that it I laid it down, it would void the warranty and they could not take it back. When I asked why there was no box, he said all “Open-Box” merchandise had no box. I knew this was a lie since I have seen boxes of TVs at the Greenville store with an Open-Box label on them.After this he and a woman, who had been working the pick-up desk and carried the remote bag, just walked back into the store without saying another word. Leaving the last employee there alone with me. He was trying to be helpful, but his best piece of advice was for me to just buy straps from the Lowes across the parking lot.I had also asked if it was a display model or a return. I saw a small scuff on the back, and it was completely covered in dust, but other than that there was no visible damage. I was told it “Probably wasnt a display. When I got home, I noticed the sticker on the remote bag said, shelf display.My suggestion to anyone looking to buy “Open-Box” merchandise is to make sure you bring your own microfiber cloth, moving blanket, and straps from home. Either that, or just buy a new one in the box. Dont expect any helpful advice from the staff at this Best Buy.

If I could give a negative star I would. Inventory was really sad for computer and phone accessories. When searching for what I needed, no one offered any assistance. There were at least 6 people I passed and none even acknowledged my existence. Checkout was ok. And then finally, a customer beeped going out and set off the alarm. She came back in with her receipt, the security guy didnt acknowledge or even look at her just stuck a thumbs up in the air towards her direction. Customer service...you guys nailed it.

I normally dont have a great experience at Best Buy but today was different. I walked into the electronic tv area looking for a specific tv and an associate, who was masked thank you, reached out to see if he could help. He immediately found the tv and went the extra mile to find the associated Echo gift. He then checked me out right there at the electronics counter. It was refreshing to see such outstanding service. And to boot the exit process was improved. I walked by the security desk and asked if he needed to see my receipt, he just asked my name and said he already had my information to exit. I wish I had gotten the gentlemans name but I purchased at 1:28 today.

Had a TV break that was caused by a faulty leg. The top right corner cracked. I tried explaining to them that the only reason that it cracked was that it was faulty when I bought it but even though I bought purchase protection it couldnt be repaired. They told me to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer told me to call Best Buy and that there was nothing they could do. Was on the phone for hours back and forth. Unfortunately, I didnt get a new TV but the staff at Best Buy was very empathetic with me but I know they have to stick to their policies. I even talked with the manager of the store and he said there was nothing he could do, but he displayed genuine empathy for me, despite the fact that there was nothing that could be done. I never got a new TV (lost $300) but the Best But staff treated me very well and listened carefully and kindly to my case. They tried everything they could. Corporate policies are impossible to circumvent, unfortunately. But the manager said he tried everything he could to get me a new TV. I believed him and despite my breaking down in the store (who wouldnt if they just found out they lost $300) he was again very empathetic to my situation. Im still going to shop here because despite their policies. The staff was incredibly helpful and spent over an hour trying to get me a new TV. This is a great Best Buy if you needed to go to one, even despite my sad situation. I dont blame the owners or the managers, I know they have policies they have to follow that cant be changed no matter what due to corporate.

I went there to buy a gaming headset that they had on a shelf for a lower price than what was in the system and they didn’t honor it and instead tried arguing with me about the prices. This is a terrible place to shop. There are a few good associates, but the people at the counters are rude.

AwesomeTook care of me. As had a broken portable air conditioner and it was 4 months past the 15 day return cut off day.I could not get the manufacturer. They never answered their phone or email. After a week trying I called Bestbuy they tried calling the manufacturer and got no answer . They said they would call them and I would have to call back. They arranged for me to come to my Bestbuy spartanburg and then I walked in and looked at it and told me pick out another new unit, which I did.The one I picked was a better one. A GE it was on sale and 50.00 less . And this time I got 2 year warranty geek squad and $10.00 back to my card.They made a bad experience, a good one!Thank you BestbuyLoren Vickers

Its the same every time . Sales associates simply dont care. Not knowledgeable at all. Will tell you something is not in stock without even checking and certainly dont bother to make sure they understand what you want. Horrible and I have shopped other Best Buy locations. They are all about the same. I miss Circuit City.

I went in, asked the guy at the front door if someone could help me at the watches and he told me someone would be there. I waited 15 mins before going to him again when he said someone would be there shortly. I waited another 10-15 min before I just finally left. I really dont want to buy a smart watch off Amazon but I couldnt get help there and dont know where else to go.

Dawson was awesome he checked me out. A little bit of an issue with replacing a defective Arlo pro 2 combo purchased last year with 2 yr warranty. They no linger sell that combo, but I was able to get a 3 camera combo unit - paid the additional cost and am happy.

TERRIBLE!!? 3 (over 3 hrs combined!) trips to BB to buy a cell phone and a tablet. Started an order with clerk to discover 3 different cell phones and 1 tablet, none of the 4 items were in stock. Only the tablet can be ordered (myself). Staff dont know what they have or details about those items! Sales person had to ask for additional help from other staff multiple times and frustration was evident in attitude of staff, even more frustration on my part and multiple customers behind me!Have purchased multiple items and times, but this was the absolute worst experience ever with BB and will likely lessen my purchases with BB

Longest hold time for someone to answer phones. Its pathetic that its a good store with good everything, but try to get help over the phone and you are screwed! 1.5 hours the first day, 63 minutes the second day, 1.2 hours the third. If I had an alternative, I would go. Its a good thing the people in there are nice and very helpful.

However I was looking for a particular type of USB cable and they were at various places in the store so I did a lot of looking.
