This location is huge and well stocked. Fast and convenient, no line in the evening. No complaints.

Nice store to shop. They have a huge Variety of items.. Especially in the meat and seafood, they were all very helpful.

It’s big and has good selections of products, but the only complaint I have is since you have such big space, why you makes the self checkout area so small with such bad flow? The self checkout area probably can only fit three shopping carts at once!!!

The Westborough Safeway is clean, large enough to move around in. The staff is friendly and the have a great produce section.

Evelyn from the deli was very friendly and accommodating. This Safeway location has been a preferred one for me, and people like her contribute to why its such a solid Safeway to do my weekly groceries in.

Well, unfortunately, my delivery didnt go so well, as the driver (Non-Safeway) just left my groceries, including perishables, on my porch (In the sun), and never made contact with me. Gruhub policy clearly states that the driver shall see your face, and get your name, prior to leaving your purchase. But, that didnt happen (And, I left specific instructions to text me an ETA prior to the delivery. And, that didnt happen either). Anyway, I called Safeway, after my neighbor informed me that my groceries had been sitting in the sun on my porch for 2 hours, and I spoke to a young man (Marcus) that took care of everything. So, I still give Safeway a 5-star rating (Its not Safeways fault that Grubhub isnt keeping up with their employees customer service, and knowledge of their policies). Ill continue to be a loyal Safeway delivery customer, as long as I never have to deal with an incompetent individual like that driver again...

One of the better Safeways - definitely or go-to for Friday shopping. Baked goods are always delicious and fresh. The deli staff are nice and super helpful (some can be a little slow but they are super nice). Always have items in stock and the butchers are always great.

It was good overall, the self checkout could have been designed slightly different to avoid a bottle neck of customers attempting to get to the next available checkout. The dairy section had the eggs also in a kind of bottle neck zone in a corner where as popular items that are likely to have a high volume of foot traffic would better be left in locations that have a thoroughfare.

People selling counterfeit and stolen goods outside of the store but store management ignores them or perhaps scared to confront them.Update: Safeway, I dont see any reason to chat with you in private to get assistance. You need to assist your stores and remove thieves, frauds and panhandlers from your storefront so customers can come in to shop without being hassled to purchase stolen items or give handouts. The other big grocery store on the other side of the parking lot doesnt allow these thieves to sell stolen items so please learn from them.

They keep the store stocked and faced properly and well. The mixture of products on the main floor displays actually make sense and they stay in tune with all holidays

A larger Safeway with helpful staff in meat section. Wasnt too busy on a Saturday afternoon. Prime rib roast was on sale for $7.99 per lbs.

Safeways got some all right stuff but Id rather go to an Asian supermarket they got produce like you wouldnt believe

Talk about discrimination and profiling people I walked in there to use their coinstar machine I am disabled and at times you need a cane to walk but this time I decided to use the cart itself of course when I walked into the store theres no problem and of course the coinstar machine didnt work and as I was watching out its when I noticed a cashier and the security guard looking me up and down with my empty cart and no jacket on were looking me up and down like stealing something that I did not appreciate and I didnt appreciate the fact that their coinstar machine was out of order just Safeway sucks if I were you or anybody stay away from it in Westlake Mall

My go to store. Their commodities meets all my needs. Everything is clean and in order. During this pandemic they follow restriction orders disenfect the shopping carts good parking space workers are very good.

Had to go get my cart from the parking lot. Almost no glutin free breads. Only workers were at the checkout, but they were working well.

Love this store. Clean, organized, great selection, lots of sales and a variety of each item so you can choose whats best for you. There are closer big name grocery stores to where I live but I gladly go 10 minutes out of my way for their shopping experience

Gianna and Slava made my day! There was no one in the floral department when I came in to get balloons for my sons 5th birthday today, but Gianna and Slava went out of their way to help fulfill my order. The helium tanks were all empty, so Slava went to get another tank and Gianna was so kind, and apologetic, though it was not her fault and I did the rest of my shopping. Their efforts really were so touching to help me make my sons second quarantine birthday special.

No freakin products to clean your cart when you go in! They say the ones on the left of the cart corral are clean but Ive seen people put their used ones there. It would be better to be able to also clean it yourself. Aaaannndd.....whos the genius that decided to move the disabled spots FURTHER from the entrance??!! Smart move...😒

Things are place too high on new refrigerators systems to be reached..and milk stock was not pushed forward to reach to purchase.. items have been discontinued ie.mccormicks country gravy

Great service, location is convenient, customer service is friendly. They are helpful, a lot of different varieties, I get good deal in produce and meat. Just for you coupon reward system is a enormous bargain and save me a greater sum of money, recommend the just for you coupon and personalized deal in the account. Safeway provides free item and discount regularly. There is weekly deal and free reward to redeem. The check out line is ok, still need to wait a bit. Self service line is also busy. A long wait.

Prices have gone up but. They have stepped their game up and kept the place well stocked and very clean! Thank you to all that work so that I can feed my family!!

Oh my goodness Cherry in the floral department was just so very helpful and made the most lovely arrangement for me within 15 minutes. Well I understand this is not normally something that can happen during these rather hurried times, Im greatly appreciative of her help and expertise. What a gentle lovely lady. I had been to your other Safeway store in South San Francisco and a floral shop when I came to this location. My friend could use some uplifting and I believe I believe I believe this beautiful bouquet arrangement will lift his spirits and put a smile on his face.

Glad they revamped this spot. It was starting to look a bit old. Other than the look, I love going to this Safeway whenever were on this side of the Bay.

For you that are familiar with the area this location was formally a K-Mart then became a Pak-n-Save supermarket.Great convenient location with lots of parking and also has a Starbucks inside. Store is always well stocked and very clean.Would’ve given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that you have to bag your own groceries. This was common when the store was a Pak-n-Save, as per their previous name. You pack your own groceries and save. LoL This has got to be the only Safeway that has their customers pick their own groceries.Did I mention they got cup holders on their shopping carts? For that, this is the only place I do grocery!

Big store. Good thing about coming here is that they have a DMV kiosk were you could register you car and receive your sticker without actually having to go to DMV.

I really enjoy shopping at this Safeway. The only reason for the 4 stars is that there is a remodel going on in the store and some shoppers might find this uncomfortable. I do not, but if my landlady was shopping with me, she might.The produce is fresh and top quality, with local products too. They have a nice herb display.The meat market is well appointed, with lovely fresh meats and fishes.I appreciate that in addition to the fresh bakery, there is also a large gluten free section.As a matter of fact, foods for those with allergies are in abundance.The handicapped carts work and I have always been able to find one.The employees are knowledgeable and courteous. I had a nice chat with the manager and then found out he was the manager.This was a good shopping experience and worth the few extra miles.

$5 deals that I was looking forward to all sold out. Maybe they could try to space it out throughout the day for working people to enjoy $5 deals as well? Just my 2 cents.

During COVID I have been using the Drive-and-Go options for groceries. The staff here has always been super responsive and made our grocery pick-ups so easy!

I love it because they sell food and they dont charge soda tax.

The check out system is a bit confusing and sometimes can be chaotic. Nonetheless, the price overall is held steady, even though the supplies and selections are limited. They might need to reorganize their entire check out system to adapt to the new norm.

I went to your store and was tired to go around and ask one of the customer service lady Ave Ann who directed me to where to find what im asking for, she is very friendly and helpful. You should have more employees like her not like what i experience last week when the lady told me she was not the manger and could not help me that was a rude approach to customers. Her name was Cecilia and seems she doesnt care at all. You dont need employees like her.!!! No personally no customer service ..

Its a quieter safeway that has everything Im looking for. The people I talked to were friendly and knowledgable.

This Safeway had pretty much everything I needed that was on my list. Although it wasnt always the easiest to find whenever I needed help there usually was someone on the floor to help me. And even when I couldnt find an item, i approached the gal at the counter and then in a moments time she would come and help me find the items I needed. Good staff very accommodating.

I called the store this morning and after numerous tries, Sandy answered the phone. I asked to speak to a mgr or person in charge and she puts me on hold. Well, as many callers may know, when a call is put on hold and the phone is not answered in an appropriate amount of time, the call cycles back to the operator and choices of extensions are given again. In the same call with sandy, my call was cycled back 5 times before I gave up. Maybe they knew the caller wanted to speak to a mgr and nobody wanted to answer. It doesn’t matter why. What kind of business is that? So disappointed in the store and it’s employees, especially sandy for not following through.

Flies all over produce. Bought some snacks for the dog and when we got home it was all moldy and disgusting. Very disappointing at the store. This door should be the best out of the mall and its the worst. Id rather go to the Manor Safeway

For such a large store variety is lacking. Less than 1/3 aisle for all canned fruits and veggies.

Lines always long and usually there isnt many registers open.

Saturday 9:45pm and around 30 people are staying in ONE LANE! Have to spend 20 min in a lane to buy food.

Pretty standard they do have some nice cuts of meat in the meat area.

One of the smaller, older Safeways. Been around for a long time and you can tell by the looks of the place.

Worse experience ever. Went in to grab a few things for dinner and when I was checking out one of the items wasnt registering so the lady asks someone to do a price check. I was patiently waiting but after about 15 min or so and multiple trips to the back from the young gentleman assisting they still were unable to figure out how much the item was. At this point the assistant brought me to the front desk to try and resolve the issue of which I said I was done and expressed my disapproval.My suggestion, dont make things more difficult than they are and if not able to figure it out in a timely fashion opt to give said items for free, basically a simple honest gesture for the inopportune moment and the (my) customers inconvenience!

TWICE now we have been over charged by 5 dollars or more. Today was the second time and we caught it so we went to go get it fixed. Not only did the woman who was supposed to be helping us walk away rudely but we ended up wasting 15 minutes waiting for someone to help. The prices are completely out of control here more than what most grocery chains have changed! Next time Im going to another location or grocery chain all together

They are open till 1 a.m. and not many people there. They do restock around that time . But for the most part they dont get in the way. The last hour or so I notice there is only one cash register open. Whick is not cool when Im shopping for 2 homes and there is a line .I feel bad .but I cant let everyone go ahead of me.parking is very easy. .
