Theres hundreds of items that are NOT priced AT ALL!!!I had to ask regarding 7 out of 10 items I purchased if they can inform me of the price.Above all...there are 4 shelves of EXPIRED SANDWICH BREAD. I was informed they are sold as is and that is WHY they are so cheap.I get it if they expired TODAY or maybe TOMORROW...but its 9/15/21 and they expired on 09/07/21, 09/08/21 and 09/09/21. THAT is a week ago!!!Come on!!!Health Department must NOT know about this...🤔🤷🤦

As soon as I walked in I can already feel the stares. The Chinese lady I don’t know if she’s the owner, before I walked up she was yelling at the employees in a very rude manner. As I payed for my items she wanted to say she didn’t charge me right but then checked the receipt and realized it was her mistake I guess she felt embarrassed and whispered Mexican monkey under her breath. I could have commented something but that is beneath me. She threw one of my items to the floor and tried to pretend she dropped them accidentally. I would have left without the items but as you can see I had already payed for them. Finally this is out of kindness I feel as she should be evaluated mentally she is a danger and will get someone hurt.Kind Regards.

I like this store because it has a lot of cute things. The only thing I dont like is that some of the stuff thats food or drinks are expired at times and they mark it down so people can buy it without them even knowing its expired so just check your expiration dates before purchasing.

This place is pretty good they have lots of little knick knacks just remember if you pay from the front entrance you must also exit from the front and vise versa.

Reasonable discounts. Good variety of every day items. Experience is as good as can be. Staff are helpful in the since of verbal direction as to where things are. Browsing and finding things is on your own.Been around for awhile so I think its safe to say will be there when you need it. Can be worth the visit.

Too messy, parking lot messy, to many people not being respectful about the cleanliness just grabbing stuff and tossing products where ever they feel like. Come on people this isnt a ranch were you can do whatever you please like the animals do..oh and the lines take too long, I mean you figure the register is doing all the work whats so hard to have the lines flowing smoothly.

After years of not being to South Gate I came here again. Still in very good shape and more inventory. Though not everything is a $1. Some items are $5 and up depending on the product. But is still cheaper than brand name stores.Security and staff still lack that Customer Service that should be provided but hey.... U get what you pay for.

Been coming here for years. They let me bring my dog in as long as i carry him. Also the service is good.

Great deals! Name brand breads, Sara Lee, Home Pride, bagels....all for $1.00. Large bar dove soap, some scents are2 for $1.29. Cans of coco- cola 3 for $1.00.Some of their items are like the ones at the .99cent store. They also have higher priced items like food, clothes, make-up.The freezer/ fridge item are higher priced.Overall I like going there. Its certain items I can get there thats higher prices elsewhere.

Yeah its good. I once bought some bubu lubu (did I spell that wrong?) here and it was like expired but yeah good store indeed.

Not everything is a dollar, most of the merchandise is not worth buying with the ridiculous price tags most items are missing things broken or opened. Staff and security are rude and watch you like a hawk as if youre going to steal something. Sometimes they do have some good stuff but its really really rare. Food dont bother, most of it is old and about to expire your better off buying in a regular grocery store. they have cheap electronics in a display case like people are going to steal it, trust me Ive seen it and nothing that is there is worth it . I only go for the seasonal decorations and merchandise but thats it.

You can find really good things here for cheap. The staff is very helpful. They do have ample parking.
