I called ahead to see if they were taking walk ins, got transferred to the wrong department after being on a 10 minute hold, was on another 10 minute hold, I just hung up and decided to take my chances, used the bus to make it all the way over here. Then I got told they couldn’t take me in because there was two patients ahead and the doctor wanted to leave early???? Since when did they make their own schedules???? I asked how long do exams take and they told me 10-15 min. I came in at 5 when their hours said they closed at 8, this makes no sense and I see no reason why they couldn’t take me in since the exams are oh so short. What a waste of my time.

Originally I went into this Walmart to purchase a glasses repair kit and found out there was an optometrist on site. The hours were a bit different from Walmarts hours due to it being an independent office. The price for the exam was very reasonable compared to other optical offices. The staff from the doctors office to the vision center were extremely nice and knowledgeable. I was able to repair my frames and order new glasses in a timely manner all in one visit. I cant wait to rock my new glasses in 5-10 business days! Patience is key when purchasing eyewear which should NEVER be rushed. Will come back for contacts later this year!!

239/5000In March 25 I bought some glasses for my wife and for two weeks they were scratched, but we were in quarantine and the vision center was closed, today I went and they told me that the guarantee had already passed. dont shop at vision center they are not reliable

So unprofessional! It was like walking into a circus! The staff was messing around, talking about how much they drank the past weekend, the manager was sitting there laughing at them. The worker Sonia and another by the name of Yolanda were ignoring the fact that my husband and I had not been helped, they had very poor etiquette, cursing the whole time! The manager, which it stated on his name tag was not professional himself for allowing such disgust! Everyone needs to be fired from that place! Ive never ever seen such poor customer service. Someone please assist this South Gate vision center and replace this staff!

Optometrist doctor was good but receptionist in that small office RUDE. I dont know why she there with that nasty attitude with no manners.

I waited 3weeks for my glasses something they said would only take 3-5 days completely dissatisfied.
