I like Caffè Nero for the ambiance, their coffee, their big muffins and scones. These are not products taken out of a plastic bag and put in a paper bag, like other large coffee chains. Just moved to Assembly and have really enjoyed this Caffe Nero! The food and drinks are obviously good, but Ive been most impressed by the friendly service. Even if it is a bit on the pricier side, I keep coming back for the convenience and atmosphere.

This is my favorite Coffee Shop in the Boston metro area. It’s in my favorite neighborhood-Assembly Square. I had a delicious Chamomile Tea with a piece of fresh Cheesecake

This place was always my go-to for coffee/tea and a sandwich, but they recently got rid of their tuna sandwich (one of their few meatless/pescatarian options) and the air conditioning is cranked up so high that I was shivering in a long-sleeved shirt. I tried working outside for warmth but none of the available power outlets outside were functioning. Disappointed that I had to go down the street to the CapitalOne Cafe to be able to work at a reasonable temperature (and with a better tasting green tea even)

Had coffee and banana bread.. liked the place and taste of coffee. Banana bread was subtle and good to taste

Barista was friendly and insisted that I give him the full list of items rather than pausing between each one. Coincidentally, he forgot a drink order and misheard a sandwich order. A friendly reminder led to a desirable result (free drink) and the incorrect sandwich was still delicious. Typically Ive had more smooth encounters at this location in the past. But this time wasnt awful.

I usually love Cafe Nero, but I wasnt a fan of this location. There was only two people behind the counter. One of them seemed to be doing the bare minimum while the other was rushing around to pick up his slack. It was also very messy. There was a bunch milk containers out on the counter. Thats a huge no for me. I can see leaving the one youre using out, but dont leave so many out. The area where they have the sugar packets and coffee stirs was also very messy with coffee and sugar spilled all over. It couldve been that they were short staffed, but the store was a mess.

Vanilla latte was sweet and the mocha latte my wife ordered was excellent. I tried the macarons and the chocolate flavor was the one that melted in my mouth.The ambience at this location was one of the best from the past locations I have tried.

This place was super cute.. i love coffee shops so when we stumble across this one at assembly row we were happy to stop in for a cup.. the atmosphere was very inviting.. and looks like a great place to grab a cup of coffee and catch up with friends..

The espresso was good we got some breakfast food it was ok. Dont think the food is worth the money but the drinks were worth it.

Everything I have gotten from caffe Nero has been wonderful! They have coffee, tea, smoothies and sandwiches with Italian meats!

I had to wait about 20 min for a coffee because the staff which was a young heavyset guy going on and on in a conversation when they were not even busy I was the only one in line other then them taking a half hour for a coffee the rest was fine but I will probably never come here again because people even walked out because of the rediculousness. You guys should really have a manager that cares on

Interior design is comfortable and welcoming. Drinks are pretty good, but the food is a bit overpriced.

The staff was very friendly. But the inside seating situation was unacceptable. About half the tables and chairs were taken up by people with laptops and no food or drink just taking up space. I had to go outside and sit in the cold to eat and drink. The staff should be more diligent keeping the tables free for new customers.

I wish I had one of these in my area, the coffee was some of the best Ive had anywhere, and I travel a good bit.The vibe was solid, very relaxed, from decor to background music; I couldnt help but feel reminded about how nice Starbucks used to be when they opened up in a similar fashion. I hope Nero doesnt veer from its setup and craft

The atmosphere here is lovely. The seats are very far apart. And protected with plexiglass barriers. We ordered avocado toast. They didnt ask us which kind we wanted egg or the other but they just gave us the egg. The bread was very good. The avocado was okay not good it needed more salt. The egg was disgusting. The price was ridiculously high over $7. The presentation was ugly.

Nice and pleasant cafe that we frequent often. We’ve visited this Caffe Nero location often since its opening and will continue to do so. It gets busy on the weekends and seating can be hard to find but this location (as well as most other Caffe Nero locations) has a nice and cozy atmosphere. I ordered a vanilla latte and a regular coffee and they were up to par. The service is always good as the workers are nice. The pricing is on par with other coffee shops. I’d say this is a good place to grab a treat like a cookie or a cake as opposed to Paul, down the street, which is probably a better place for tart-like sweets. See you soon Caffe Nero!

Found this coffee shop while wandering around the area, and it was awesome. The place is so comfy, offer free WiFi, along with variety coffee and sandwiches. Would highly recommend to visit this coffee shop if youre in the area.

Really liked the espresso which was quite smooth and not burnt. The service was good and the baristras seemed to take care in making the espressos and lattes that we ordered. We also enjoyed the decor, classical music, and that the tables were not too close to each other.

I hope when Covid is over the guys who works there can get rid of his beard . Not professional and not sanitary with that hair and that beard .Otherwise I love this place !

The coziest interior--lots of seating, outlets, and tables. The coffee is good (not great--a little too tangy), but what I like best is that they dont charge extra for alternative milk. Baristas are very friendly and fast. Great wifi too--perfect for studying/working. Even better, there are so many shops around, so youll have something to do once youre done.

I heard so much about this place and I was curious and excited to try it. It was my first and last time over there. Very dirty place. I know it’s winter and snow time, but nothing justifies them not having someone to keep the place clean during the day. For me was clear it wasn’t clean before open this morning, because I got there 11 am and I was pretty dirty. I am very disappointed. I was expecting more about the foods as well.

To the young guy who is always there and is very upset all the time and gives attitude change your attitude no one wants to come in to a grumpy young man. I know you dont make enough money, but still stop being mean and rude to people. Its very upsetting every time I go there youre so unhappy.

The barista that helped us was very friendly and made a delicious decaf caramel latte with almond milk for me. The cafe was really nice, and the wall to ceiling windows were nice to sit by. I bet itll be even nicer in the summer when theres outdoor seating too. I also got a Greek salad that was pretty good for a prepackaged salad. I liked that the chicken was seperated in a plastic tray so I didnt have to pick it out, and the lettuce didnt get soggy.

The smoothie was very watery and tasteless. However, the worst part of the visit was the rudeness of the older gentleman behind the counter. He is an overly aggressive man who should not be allowed to deal with customers.

Awesome little spot, right in the middle of everything! The atmosphere is chill, and the variety of beverages is great!

They’re typically busy and sometimes short staffed which can cause a delay in the ordering process. There have also been times where my orders have been incorrect. They do however get the job done with a caffeine boost if you don’t want to walk to the other end of Assembly Row.

Wish they had more space

This is a nice place, unfortunately the service was way slower than necessary. The guy who took my order had dark hair and ran the expresso machine. I ordered a small hot green tea simple right? This guy takes my order and vanishes.....I honestly think he couldve just finished such a simple order on the spot and another staff member agreed. He promptly prepared the tea for me😊

I like Caffe Nero in general so this is a review on the location in particular. Service is good but the venue is crowded.It seems like a lot of people go in as individuals but the chairs arent quite set up to match how people use it. People were standing around a bit (granted it was a cold day when I visited).I would suggest ordering to-go or securing your seat ahead of ordering because you might not find a seat for a while, and walking around with an open hot mug of coffee or tea can be a little stressful

Loved the location. Caffe Nero had a lot of food options. And they show their daily food too. It would be great if they just did a real smoothie instead of the pre-made ones. The employees are very kind too, discarding the fact that the Cafe is right next to a construction site. In my opinion, this place is good for studying and a place for a quick breakfast.

Delicious, cozy experience

This is my absolute favorite cafe in Boston. I used to come here almost every day when i worked across the street, and I would always order the black iced coffee. It was always brewed perfectly and never failed to make me shake. I assumed it was from excitement, but it was probably just the caffeine.

3 people in line ahead of me each ordering a single coffee and it was a 52 minute wait to be able to make my order..the worker crawled around repeatedly destroying people’s orders..if it wasn’t freezing outside I would have left ..but needed the warmth to continue hunting ice sculptures

Wonderful casual ambience and delicate music with beautiful lighting and charming, stacked books. Excellent service, great variety of food and beverage, delicious food, and uniquely delicious coffee and teas. Limited but fresh and tasty vegan and vegetarian options. Whether conversing, alone, reflecting, or working, this is a spectacular gem to visit.

Came in at 4pm on a Tuesday. The workers are rude, yes both of them. The customer service changed my mood from happy to unpleasant.

3 hours of wifi. Usually pretty busy on the weekends with most seating taken. Usually people dont stay very long so you can get seating if you hang around. Service from behind the counter is adequate.

Compassionate staff. Just got off the train and needed to use the bathroom and wait for my ride. In light of recent events, as a person of color I felt pressure to buy something I didnt want to buy so I may use the bathroom. I offered to buy but the cashier said, You dont need to buy anything to use the restroom. All are welcome here. ... I really appreciate this.

Great design and good coffee. However the classical music they play on Sunday morning is too loud! I sat down trying to do some studying but have a hard time focusing.

Delicious sandwiches

Overpriced and pretty low quality. The sandwiches are small, on not great bread, and premade, so they sit around getting stale all day. Hot chocolate was lukewarm, milky and gritty. Fairly busy somehow, so seating is also hard to find. The style/decor seems interesting on first glance, but unfortunately it turns out to be just another implementation of a corporate strategy and carefully crafted image, rather than anything actually interesting.
