Rob Long was an excellent salesperson, he did not pressure me into purchasing a vehicle and he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle that I was interested in. Rob took his time with me in deciding which color and model vehicle I was interested in. When I arrived at the dealership to pick up my vehicle, all the paperwork was ready. Rob made the process very easy and enjoyable. Best salesperson I’ve had in a very long time. Overall my experience with the Rob and the Fullerton staff was definitely one of the best!!!

This was my very first experience shopping for a new car on my own and I also work for a premium car dealership; so I know what to expect from an excellent sales experience. I had my eyes set on an Alfa Romeo Giulia, and other dealerships were beating around the bush when I asked for numbers first in order to make sure it was in my budget. After reaching out to Fullerton Alfa Romeo in Somerville, I was put in contact with a really excellent salesperson: Chris West. Chris was able to provide me numbers on the vehicle I was interested in and took into account my trade-in, all online, while the other dealerships told me that I needed to come in first or send copies of documents that were not needed yet during early stages of a deal. I drove almost an hour away to meet with Chris and do a test drive because of how professional everything was. Once I had done the credit app and all of the rest of the necessary paperwork after coming to a deal, Jason my finance manager was also extremely professional and upfront with what I should consider in terms of warranties & protections for my new Giulia. The finance process was quick and easy, the way it should be when everything is done on-time and well.If you are considering an Alfa Romeo, definitely don’t settle for something else. I’ve had my Giulia for only a few days and it is a treat to not only drive, but for others to see and ask about as well. The driving experience is sublime, only matched by its looks. A stellar vehicle I really did not imagine I would be driving in my early 20’s. So if you want one, please bring your business to Fullerton Alfa Romeo in Somerville and ask for Chris West. Awesome experience! My sales rep Rob is a great guy. The customer service I received was above and beyond. He brings a great deal of knowledge and patience to the table. Scott is also a pleasure to do business with. This was my second Alfa purchased from Fullerton and hopefully will not be my last. Just picked up a new giulia lease to replace my outgoing lease. Had a great experience with the team here - my salesperson was Rob Long and he was knowledgeable, nice, and efficient to work with (plus clearly a car guy which I appreciate when getting a new car). I called and spoke with Rob Long, I scheduled an appt. to come in, even though his day should of ended shortly after I could get there he was happy to help me. This young man is a great employee and he serves you well. Yes, I leased the vehicle and was treated like royalty. This process could not have gone any smoother and I am thrilled at the ease of this experience. Going to a dealership can often feel intimidating; however, this was not the case at Fullerton Alfa Romeo. Chris was friendly yet professional, knowledgeable yet humble and easy to talk to, and above all, patient with my husband and I throughout the entire process. This was the fastest car leasing process either one of us experienced. I called on a Thursday evening to schedule a test drive, test drove the car on Friday and drove off the lot on Monday— we spent MAYBE a total of 2.5 hours at the dealership within the span of those 3 days. I was one of the first people to lease the Alfa Romeo Guilia in 2017 and my initial experience was great. Fast forward 3 years-My lease was up and I wanted to drop the car off Saturday as any normal person would. I was then told over the phone at this location that I cannot drop my car off on Saturday. Only Monday through Friday until 6PM. I was then notified by my leasing company that I will be charged an additional $40 a day until I bring the car in. I work in finance and am limited on when I can bring the car back. Any logical person would think that this would include Saturday. I call back again today to drop the car off and Rob the sales manager answered the phone. He tells me I cant drop the car off after 4:30PM after I tell him I bought a new BMW. I believe I got a denial of service because I wasnt giving a new sale to Alfa Romeo (aka discrimination). After I called his employee out for lying to me on Saturday, he then agrees to take my car in at 6:00PM and catches an attitude with me for telling him to stop jerking me around. I think upper management should step in to define to their employees how to treat a customer of 3 years. Second they must define actual hours for a lease return and not what is ideal on a per client situational basis. I now have to call Alfa Romeo Corporate and Ally Auto to register a complaint regarding this matter which in total will cost $200+. I understand we are all going through this pandemic, but this is not acceptable for a company trying to label themselves as an upperclass vehicle or any class for that matter. I was contemplating another Alfa Romeo in the future but this experience now defines the brand for me. I will now go to Alfa Romeo of Morris County to drop my car off.

One year ago Ive given this dealer an opportunity to earn my business at the sales department and while we could not agree on terms I did decide to service at this Alfa Romeo store.Before the holidays Ive called in and scheduled a service appointment weeks in advance and just to confirm I call on the day of just to find out that appoint has not been scheduled, as originally promised a service loaner vehicle will not be offered (first service + recall + mechanical issue) and they intend to charge me for the first service which is clearly covered by Alfa Romeo for first year and 10k miles.All their reasons not to honor manufacturer maintenance have been dismissed by other area dealer who made it not just simple but also a pleasant experience.Please dont reply to contact you, there is nothing to remedy perhaps use this situation to better customer experience at your store, or just stick to budget brands.Happy 2020

Ive bought a dozen brand new vehicles from various dealerships and have never had a single issue with any dealership. We decided to go a little unique and purchase an Alfa Romeo. Boy, what a trip. It had to be the worse experience purchasing a 4C Spider from Fullerton Alfa Romeo. Ill list out the issues below:1. Paperwork and discussions. Never have I ever had discussions with a sales person and back-end finance person in a general lobby area on the floor. All other dealerships do it at a sales persons desk and then move onto a finance office to finalize paper work -- not this time. In stead, I was signing paperwork (mind you I brought a blank check from my bank to do the deal) a long side other people waiting for their car to be serviced.2. Sales person, upon showing us the 4C and the roof that folds up re-installed the panels wrong. He didnt quite understand you had to slide the front lip inside its groove. Mind you, we had a 300 mile trek back home and was thankful the top didnt catch wind and rip off.3. Finance manager gave too much of a discount. After signing the final paperwork, cutting the check, they tried via phone to come back at me to pay more for something I had finalized the payments on. Making it seem it was my fault or something that they did that and to do the right thing and drive back up 300+ miles to pay more for something that we rightfully thought was a decent price. Thanks for making it seem we were shysters over the phone Fullerton Alfa Romeo.4. Tags and Title. WHAT A JOKE. They gave us our tags, they expired. They had to give us more tags for an additional week -- they expired. It was several weeks later before we received our plates for the car. Their response: Drive the car with expired tags and IF WE GET PULLED OVER, they will cover the ticket. What the heck?! So, youre telling me to break the law due to the fact your team were not pushing the tag broker to get things done quicker.5. Follow ups. Well call you back. Well call you back. No call back about 80% if not more. No response unless we call in, they make it abundantly clear that customer service is not their priority.6. The whole reason I decided after a year + of owning this vehicle I am writing this because this is just the last straw to break my back on this whole issue: MAINTENANCE. My 4C Spider now has an odd whistle-hum noise when you accelerate. According to the Alfa Romeo dealership in Chadds Ford, PA -- There was a crucial VERY EXPENSIVE maintenance needed which should have been done even before we owned the car. Its a complete breakdown of the car, they take the clam shell off and re-tighten EVERYTHING to factory torque specs. Fullerton Alfa Romeo failed to maintain their vehicles by ensuring theyre meeting their service requirements. Fullerton Alfa Romeo even failed to let us know this kind of maintenance was already due in any fashion or even stating that the 4C Spiders have Special Maintenance that normal sports As a result, I am now paying over 3,000 days for a several day maintenance for my vehicle because it was missed and not covered under any warranty.All in all, I am bitter about this whole experience. I thought I was done with the joke of a deal; however, stuff just keeps resurfacing on the neglect of maintenance from Fullerton Alfa Romeo that makes it hard for me to forget theyre even a dealership. For those picking an Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, please be aware and ask if those special tightening maintenance have been performed. If the vehicle is new but not properly taken care of, do not buy it run away from the deal. Ask for the maintenance schedule, According to Alfa Romeo technical support, the maintenance times are based upon the manufacturing date (inside the door) of your car and not the technical year title.

Brought my own oil. I was asked to sign a waiver that would essentially invalidate my warranty. I understand that oil specifications matter which is why I bought the specific kind that is approved and recommended by the manufacturer for my model car. I was told it had to be their stock and that they couldnt check if the oil was the right kind. This didnt make sense. Im certain the dealership knows the oil spec and can compare it to the label of unopened oil I brought. Bad oil is the achilles heel if multi air engines and a 10k interval is too long for a turbocharged motor. Im trying to do the right thing and use the best oil at shorter intervals. Its a shame Im not allowed to use my preference if Im following the manufacturers guideline. Asking me to sign a waiver puts my warranty at risk. Alfas have reliability issues as is. If something else should fail unrelated to engine oil incompatibility the waiver will be used against me.Fullerton, it would be great if you could change your policy on this regard. Its not hard to verify if an oil is the right type. If you dont make a sale on the oil and filter you still turn a profit for a simple service.

Just had to share how wonderful Fullerton Alfa Romeo is...I walked in without an appointment for an oil change at a very busy time of year. When I explained that I unexpectedly had to drive 10+ hours to visit my son, who is in the military, they stepped up and got my vehicle serviced so I could make the trip safely, without worrying about my car. Tire pressure light went on in my Giulia, and I was in the area. Had a weird encounter earlier that morning at a Mavis tire, so I figured an Alfa store would be a little better. Nope.The service department was empty / dead, and there was only one advisor there on this Saturday morning. I asked him if they had a tire pump that customers could use, and he kind of just stood there dumbfounded. I further explained that my light was on, I needed to top it off with more air, etc.He looks at me still somewhat blankly, peers outside the window at my car, back at me, and asks if I bought the car here (siiiiiiiigh). I said no.He thinks about it some more, looks at me, looks outside at my car, looks at me (yes, like the Old Spice commercial) and finally settles on: I have to write up a service order for every car I bring back there hoping Id go away.So I went away, somewhat amazed at how terrible that was for a highline make.Ive worked sales at car stores before, and you should just make the drive to Whippany for Alfa stuff, honestly.This reeks of a culture issue, and that will likely be pervasive across the enterprise.

I got my Alfa Romeo here almost 2 years ago. It was a nice experience. Sales Chris and manager Scott are very nice to deal with. I had two routine service visit after purchase, each time I have been treated professionally. The day I picked up new plate I bumped into the owner of the whole dealership. He is such a low key guy, he said the dealer will soon expend into carry Maserati, no wonder there is a nice team around him. The service manager Ed was such a nice guy. I got a ride to nearby company on time for my meeting and picked me up afterwards. This is the place to go if you want Alfa Romeo or Maserati and get good deal and service.

I live in Staten Island, but decided to take the 35 mile drive to check them out because their advertised monthly lease for a Stelvio was close to what I had been paying for my Mazda CX-5. I figured they would do a bait and switch thing, but was surprised to be offered a number of choices at the advertised price. Sales Manager Scott and Sales Specialist Jean-Pierre were personable and made the experience a pleasure. Ended up paying a few dollars more per month because I wanted an option the sale cars didnt have. Was able to trade in my car right there and drive back to Staten Island in a new Alfa.

I purchased my Guilia almost a week ago. My experience with Fullerton was exceptional. Jean-Pierre and Scott were easy to work with. Communication, whether by text or email, was prompt and easy. Negotiations took about a week. However, in the end, the price was fair and the process unstressful. This has been my best car buying experience ever. I recently leased an Alfa Romeo Stelvio from Fullerton. I live on Staten Island and decided to take the trip out to Somerville to look for my new vehicle. I was able to do most of the leg work over the phone with the Sales Manager Scott A. He was willing to work with me and even got my payments right where they needed to be. No bait and switch, no haggle, the easiest experience I have ever had! When the time came to pick up the vehicle, I was working with Rob L for the delivery phase. Rob sat with me for over 30 minutes in the car and went over every little detail. He explained every feature in detail to me and even showed me some shortcuts being a Stelvio driver himself. Cant recommend the dealership enough. I pretty much worked the deal out over the phone and email. Drove close to two hours to the dealership expected a bait and switch or some nefarious added cost. Couldnt have been more wrong. As soon as I arrived Chris took me to the car to show me all the features then took me inside where I sat with Jason for financing. Jason walked me through the paper work, had all the numbers as previously discussed and offered me the usual wear and tear items with no pressure.I did most of the back and forth with Scott who was a pleasure, but both Jason and Chris deserve a shout out.This is the 5th car Ive leased/purchased in the last 3 years and this was without a doubt the best dealership Ive worked with.

I purchased a 2017 Alfa Romeo Certified Pre-Owned Giulia from Fullerton Alfa Romeo. Great car. Terrible dealership experience. 1st, the salesperson, Rob Long, tried to tell me the price was $500 more than it was listed on Edmunds and Autotrader. After I pushed back he relented. 2nd, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle it had 1,800 more miles than advertised - almost 9,000 instead of 7,200. He didnt seem to think this was a big deal and only after asking I received a set of car mats for this misrepresentation. 3rd, when I asked Mr. Long if the car had ApplePlay he told both my wife and I during the test drive that it did. It turned out it did not and he later claimed that I was misinformed. True. By him. 4th and most importantly, the advertised and promised 6 YR/100,000 MILE warranty was not delivered. Instead it was registered with a 5 YR/60,000 MILE warranty and neither Fullerton Alfa Romeo nor Alfa Romeo/FCA Group will supply the advertised and promised warranty after almost two months. Fantastic car. Terrible dealership.

Rock stars! Im a very picky with whom I give my business too when it comes to cars and I would give these guys my business over and over again. First off I live in manhattan and the idea of driving into jersey to get a car made me cringe but after speaking to Manhattan Maserati Alfa Romeo for 4 days, spinning my wheels and Ray the rip off Catena, I needed to reach out to these guys. Boy am I happy I did! They were able to get me price that neither of these two dealerships were even close to. They got me approved and had me out of there within a couple of hours. Scott the sales manger is incredible and Rob Long in sales is a stud. Not only were they working out my deal and getting me everything I asked for in the car and price, these guys literally had 6 other live costumers purchasing / leasing cars all at the same time. It was a mad house but they catered to everyone and made sure everyone was happy especially me. Do not waste your time with any other dealer please save your time as its our most value thing in life just go to the place thatll make it happen. Ray Catena is a complete joke and rip off!

To start, I had a fantastic experience leasing my Giulia here last summer. This review is about the service. I dropped my car off for an RRT that had not been completed previously, as well as a curious noise that had developed. I received no communication from the dealer regarding my vehicle that day, and had to call myself to check on the status at EOD. Three days later, when I picked it up, I was informed that none of my issues were taken care of. The service advisors had no knowledge of the RRT (for an update to the infotainment system), and had no interest in attempting to research the problem. Additionally, the noise in my steering column was decided to be normal operation and was not addressed. The most infuriating part was the lack of communication on either of these points until I came to pick up my car 3 days after dropping it off. I later took my car to Alfa Romeo of Morris County, who was actually able to address my issues.

Buyer beware. I bought a 2011 Chevy Suburban with approx 55k miles, below I attached the purchase receipt from Fullerton. The purchase was in June 2014, by September 2014 my transmission was having major problems and failing. I took it to a Chevrolet Dealership for service and below I attached a picture of the receipt of work performed to resolve it. Luckily, the vehicle was still under the Manufacturer Power Train Warranty or I wouldve had to pay out of pocket.Long story short, here I am 4 yrs later and the Transmission failed again. This time I have to pay 3,500 out of my pocket. Its clear that this transmission was never really good to begin with although the vehicle was only 3 yrs old. I spent nearly 40k, only to have the trans fail within the first 3 months of purchase. Now Im forced to fix this trans again because Im still paying for this truck. You can buy from Fullerton if you want, but you cant say you werent warned!!!! Dont buy from these guys ever. If you do youll regret it. Save yourself the headache and money trust me.
