Kemper Furniture is a beautiful store with all kinds of interesting furniture. One of our favorite brands is Laz-y-Boy for recliners. Recently one of our Laz-y-Boy recliners that we bought while living in Florida started failing to recline properly. I took a picture of what I thought was the problem part and one of the information tag on the chair. I took them to Kemper. They said they would order the part which would be covered under the lifetime warranty. Kempers service man repaired the chair with the replacement part for just $35.00 plus tax. Now the chair works like new again! Laz-y-Boy and Kemper have made us very happy!

Wonderful experience working with Lauren at Kemper picking out custom fabric for my living room sectional and accent fabrics for pillows. The custom made furniture arrived earlier than expected and the delivery was top notch. The comfort, quality and design are just what we wanted. We will definitely use Kemper in the future.

Great experience shopping with Stephanie at Kempers. Purchased a dining set and was originally told it would be 2 weeks for delivery but because of another cancellation, we got delivery a week earlier. The delivery men did an excellent job with set up.

We had such a nice experience with Kemper and our sales rep Shelly who was so patient with us trying to decide on fabric style etc. It is nice to not be rushed or steered toward furniture because it is the special of the week. We ended up buying two different living room suites and very happy with both and the delivery guys were so professional and very nice as well. Highly recommend the Somerset store.

We were in the market for a new couch. I went to every furniture store in Somerset, KY. Not finding what we were looking for anywhere. I was able to get in contact with Shelly Mabe at the Somerset store. Not having what I thought I wanted she showed me different couches that she had. Not even thing of a sectional......she showed me one that was amazing. Not the color I wanted but she was able to order one for us in the color we wanted. The couch is absolutely amazing and a big thanks to Shelly for going over the top.to make our experience a wonderful one. I recently purchased a recliner from kempers home furnishing to surprise my grandmother with and during my shopping there the staff up from was very friendly and very helpful. I had previously stopped and looked at multiple furniture stores along the way comparing prices and quality. Out of the 5 other stores I looked in, kempers had the best prices and a way bigger selection to choose from along with quality. However, picking the furniture up was a whole other experience. The people in the loading area were rude and after backing the truck up for the recliner to be loaded I got out and one of the men turned to the other and said im supposed to put a recliner in here?. It was a rainy day so I chose to drive the truck we have that had a top on it to help shield the rain as much as possible since I couldnt find my husbands tarp and was aware that the top would have to be left open so im not sure if that was the reason for the remark or not but the recliner fit perfectly anyways. They also wouldnt even speak directly towards me even when spoken to and acted as if I wasnt even there. So to sum it up going in and shopping is all smiles and rainbows but dealing with the guys in the back is like being sucked into an episode of squidbillies which honestly makes me wish I had just gotten what I needed at one of the other stores.

Store was.great! They had a great selection to choose from and sales associate (Julie) was very knowledgeable and patient with me and my wife as we decided on a couch!

Ive had an exceptional experience in dealing with Kemper. I was hesitant because I think theyre a little pricy, but they stand behind their products. It is worth added costs. I purchased a Flexsteel living room set. The motorized recliners went out twice. They fixed as soon as the ordered part came in on both occasions and did not charge me one cent. The service man comes from out of Hyden and he is such a nice old man. He worked with my hectic schedule and worked around a remodeling situation.

We’ve purchased furniture from Kemper several times, and we honestly wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for our major furniture purchases. The quality of their products is wonderful, and they have various sales throughout the year with excellent deals. Sure, you may pay a tiny bit more than a discount store elsewhere, but the service and quality are reflected. Our most recent purchase was a new couch and loveseat, and once again, we are very pleased. We are happy to shop local, get great deals, and excellent quality furniture.

We highly recommend Kemper for your furniture needs. They stock what’s on display. Their store contains an immense variety of styles in tasteful arrangements. They offer fair pricing on great service and quality furniture. Inside the store we were left to sit, lay, measure, activate, discuss and debate what we liked without a salesperson breathing down our neck. Once we found what we liked, we arranged delivery for the next day. The delivery men were polite and professional and placed the pieces exactly where we asked. The manager followed up a couple of days later by phone and a week via a hand written note in the mail. We were very satisfied.

We are new to the area and needed some furniture for a remodel. What a joy it was to find Kemper and there staff. They have very high quality unique furniture and an awesome staff. I highly recommend them.

As soon as we entered the store, Lauren greeted us and remembered us when we bought a couch and love seat. She showed us bedroom suites and mattress sets. She was very knowledgeable and patient! She gave us suggestions. After we made our selection, she followed us through the purchasing process. We are extremely pleased with our experience and bedroom suite!

I purchased a table from Kemper Home Furnishings and had an excellent experience. I live just north of Indianapolis and drove to KY to get this table. It is perfect. The staff, Shelley was excellent and assisted so much. She was delightful, professional and it was a pleasure to do business with her. Everyone at the store was very friendly and kind. The table that I bought is just gorgeous and I love it! It was well worth the 4 hour drive.

We just moved into town about three months ago from Mississippi. We were looking for a new sleeper sofa that would be comfortable but also durable and attractive. Shelleywas wonderful. She helped us to choose a sofa with a TempurPedic mattress and showed us the different choices of fabric. She also helped us to find a nice picture to go with the sofa. We love our sofa, we love the experience we had and we will be back.

My dad had a painful broken rib due to a fall. His nurse recommended a power lift chair. Kemper has a great selection of furniture at reasonable prices. We found the staff to be very friendly and worked hard to put together the package we wanted. Delivery was slightly ahead of the scheduled time, which may be the first time Ive ever experienced that! All in all, a very satisfying experience.

First time buyer, ordered a bedroom set and was informed that the nightstand had to be ordered. I was told it would be in before the end of the month, waited 2-3 weeks so I called to get information about it, while being told that it was in the back (never received a call from Kemper saying that it was in), Delivery was paid for whole bedroom set and am now fixing an issue of having it delivered as they said it was on a pick up later.Friendly service but was poorly executed on getting my items

We were looking for a desk at Kempers. Stephanie showed us the desk sets. She was very nice and did not put any pressure on us to buy any particular desk. She would come back once in awhile and asked us if we had any questions and then would leave us alone. We liked that, no pressure. When we did have questions we would talk to her. We wound up buying a desk, two chairs and bookcase. We purchase the stress look. The sale was like someone offering you something you could not refuse. We purchased these during Labor Day sales and we saved a lot of money. They offered 0% interest for 1 year. We opened up an account with them to take advantage of this 0% interest. Everyone involved with this process was very kind and it was a pleasure to do business with them. They delivered the furniture a few days later and the delivery men were very careful handling the furniture and placing it where we wanted it. They were very nice and handled the furniture with care We went back a few weeks later and purchased some lamps an a cabinet. The staff was amazing, we will be back for more furniture. I would recommend anyone to go and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed. We are looking forward to the next sale. :-)Update: We went back to Kemper Home Furnishings and found great sales on their dressers, chest of drawer, two night stands and lamps to match over the 4th of July. We like shopping here, there is never anyone pressuring you to purchase anything. They are very knowable about their items on the floor. We have always had a good experience at the Somerset store. They delivered the bedroom set on schedule. The folks that deliver the bedroom set were very careful with moving the furniture and placed it were we wanted it. Before the moved the furniture they came in the house to see the path that they would be taking and making sure nothing was in their way that might damage the furniture. From start to finish it was a good experience. We will visit this store again as we look for additional furniture. Thanks to everyone who helped us. They are very friendly, and provide a good experience that makes you want to come back to them.

Morgan was really helpful whenever I was looking for a kitchen table! She was very patient with me because I was being extremely picky. My husband is very tall and he couldnt sit comfortably at the tables we tried out without hitting his legs or knees. The finance manager was friendly and explained everything precisely to ensure customer understanding and satisfaction. My mattress hasnt been delivered yet so the jury is still out on setup and delivery.

I feel quite comfortable dealing with Kemper. They provide good customer service and a quality product. Shelley Mabe is great to work with. One huge plus for me is that they are closed on Sunday, respecting the Lords day. Next furniture purchase we make will probably be at Kemper.
