I heard it was a good paying job so I called to inquire. I see why they are always hiring as I spoke with someone who was a smart a@@. I also know a few people who worked there. Not many are still there. Think about this. Good pay, Excellent benefits, why do people quit????

I deliver here sometimes and they are not bad at all.

Got there 430 appt was 530. Put us in door. Was out by 745. Used unload n fax option where they email finalized paperwork to you or office instead of you waiting on warehouse to finish. They give you a trl report.

No over night parking and don’t park in the acme shopping centre parking. Use to park before but now they put signs. Even not for couple hours too they are stilling your money 300$ booted fine. Or tows will be more expensive... Becarefull

We have been here since 5:30 am waiting to get unloaded it is now 1:05pm and still waiting!! We were told it would be no more than 2-4 hours it is now over 7 hours later!! This is more then absurd!!! If the truck drivers are even a minute late theyre given a fine or told that they would have to reschedule which could take days. We have lost 2 loads due to the delay here, Walmart you really need to do better just absolutely insane!!

Please do not come here to shop youll be sadly disappointed.

Can only show up no more than hour early..Have to unhook and park in bobtail. Make sure you hv ur straps when you get trailer.

Terrible stuck for eight hours. Never want to go back. Lost a lot of time and money delivering here.

Applied for freight handler position and got a call couple days later. Lady was really rude on the phone when she asked for me she said I sound like she was bothering me. I didn’t know who was calling me she then chuckles as the conversation continues told me they had a position for weekends night shift. I explained that on the application I did not put my availability for nights. She again chuckles at me and tells me that’s all they are hiring for. I felt very disrespected by this lady and that’s just over the phone I can’t imagine if I actually worked there. She did not greet me properly or introduce herself properly. She did not have to mockingly chuckle at my response. On the application I put my time availability so i don’t understand her frustration that I didn’t want that shift. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.

They dont shut reefers off when theyre finished unloading them (dropped trailers). They just let them run out of fuel. Every time I pick one up there, I have to fuel it and prime it.

In and out quickly, drop trailer.

People are nice thats the only good thing i can say about this place 7 hrs to get unloaded and they kept 2 of my straps had to go back in to office to have them call dock to get them back

Great job for anyone in the area. The managers are there to help and there is always room to grow and advance with this company. Your schedule can vary from 3-4 days a week, giving you plenty of time to recuperate after your shifts. The pay is well above average for similar positions in the region. Walmart offers a generous PTO and Protected PTO program, allowing you to take time off without worry when necessary.

Easy to get to, roads are under construction tho right now, use Google maps to see if they closed glenn. Arrived 0530, for a 0615 appt, dropped trl, parked cab was called at 0940 to get paperwork. Lil slower than other Wal Marts but Im happy. Broker paid detention for p/u and del. Parked on the exit for the rest area, the rest area itself is small, but no one bothered me overnight. Just the occasional rocking from the flying traffic.

Terrible place for deliveries..Long wait time at the gate, ones you get in and drop your trailer to be unloaded be prepared to sit there at least 4 to 6 hours. Plan your reloads accordingly.

Always an easy check in and check out. The hunt for an empty container could take a lil longer than it has to be. The yard is always full so your container could be anywhere. The security loss prevention team are always pleasant and professional.

Nice place for one stop shopping, but really need to have someone on those bathrooms around the clock during busy seasons. Its a mess! Dont eat there and go to the bathroom.. You will lose your lunch.

Delivering at 06/27/20.delivery appointment was for 8:30 Am.Cheked in at 7:00 AM..10 skid animal feed.Now 1:00PM still waiting.Shame on them.

Was at this Walmart delivering and one of their Jockey driver scratched my trailer. I was told to contact Walmart personnel by the name Franki but he ghosted my call. So disappointed.

I have to say I was a bit sarcastic about coming here based on the previous reviews but I had no issues my appointment was at 8:30 they let me drop my trailer at 7o’clock and I was finished unloading and out the gate by 930

If u r on MD 301 u can take US 300 all the way to Walmart DCThe easiest way to get to ur destinationUr GPS will take u to 13 which is a way longer wayAt the same time u will skip weight stations on 301 )

Not an easy place to get to unless you know local roads. Garmin truck GPS will not get u here from new 301 ( maybe if Md 300 was Open) all the routes from 301 truckstop were no truck routes... get on De 13 or US1.Good luck

Literally thee worst Distibutors ever. Got here at 5 made me wait till 6 to start getting unloaded now as I type. Worst place ever.

Appointment 5:00pm check in 4:25 pm is 23:21 and nothing 2 star for good treatment.

Appt at 10 am still here waiting for trailer to unload. No respect as a driver its 3:30 and still no trailer. We get paid to move but walmart do not seem to care about outside trucks.ridiculous.

Arrived 30 min before appt. Took them 8 hrs to unload me. Caused me to miss a good load that would have taken me past home, and gotten me home the night before requested. Wound up with a load that paid less, left me farther from home, and got me there 3 AM the day after requested!Dont ever go here!

Why doesnt this store have the same quality items like Camden and Middletown? The meat departmart needs to better quality stuff. Do I want cow tongue or chicken feet for dinner? NEITHER!!!!! I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to the other Walmart or go to another food store than shop at Dover Walmart.

Good Company to work for. I work in a very fast paced environment!

Drove over 700+ miles under the emergency supply exception; meaning, arrived one day earlier, than the brokers scheduled set appointment, and the load was accepted, without any issues; in other words, in this case, with Walmart, we are all together, fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

Delivered five times there. They takes less than 2 hours to unload your trailer. You have to drop the trailer in J1-J2 then yard jockey put the trailer on dock. After unloading they’ll call you and then you can hook the trailer from dock.

Walmarts are usually slow but this is the worst. Appt was 6:15 cheched in at 6:00 and dropped trl which took an hour before the yard guy took it to a dock. Left at 10:45 and it was a partial/half trl load.

11/20/19 3:00 pm. Rude, old security guard in the guard shack, hes got piercing on his left earlobe, doesnt greet me nor look at me when talking to me, he probably treats every drivers like that, if not, then hes a racist, recommended for termination.

Please go out of business, nobody needs you Wal-Mart all you do is disrupt the rest of our economy and make people be sheepish. Just die already

Typical grocery warehouse usually two or three hour wait.. one of these days theyll wake up and realize were now running against the computer but I wont hold my breath.

This has to be the worst walmart dc around. I did walmart a favor, and ran dedicated for them for a few days out of the Sutherland, VA DC, just to help them out. My payback is even though I am dedicated, I am not ALLOWED to do a 10 on their property! I brought a load from Sutherland to Smyrna, and find out here directly from a walmart driver, NO ONE, not even walmart drivers are allowed to break at the Smyrna dc! Good luck finding a truck stop, there arent many here....

The long wait was ridiculous. I was the first to arrive for the appointment time and it took over 6 hours to get unloaded. Then, when I was out of hours to drive, they would not let me stay. This isnt the first time I have had issues with Walmarts taking too long to unload a trailer. Their operational processes need to be reviewed and changed. They cannot continue to delay delivery or pickup drivers this long.

Deliveries to this distribution center takes about 2 to 3 hours. Typical walmart DC.

Great staff!!! Only issues are empty trailers are mixed with the loaded and no over night parking.
