Went to purchase a replacement twin mattress for our grandson. The lady was very nice, no pressure. She provided information as requested, but applied no pressure to us to buy. We allowed our grandson to test the mattresses and decide which he preferred. There was a sale going on, so we got a good quality mattress at a reduced price and were able to bring it home that day. So far, our grandson is extremely happy with his new mattress.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!WE WILL CERTAINLY GO BACK THERE AGAIN. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TOO!!!!!!!

Pam in the store was great; helpful, informative and didnt make us feel rushed or pushy to make the right decision for us. We love our new bed! The two guys that installed it were right on time as scheduled and quick and efficient in setting up our adjustable bed frame and mattress. Would definitely refer the business!

Stopped in here with the wife and completed a sale for 2 twin XL mattresses. Did not need the box springs because we are getting an adjustable bed. We agreed on price with Pam the sales lady, and after going to lunch for a couple of hours, we returned and made the purchase. After we got home, Pam called us and told us that she had a made a mistake on the pricing. Since we didnt purchase the box springs, the mattresses were going to be an extra 300$ dollars. She said she had been there 10 years, so I figure she should have known the process on giving prices to the customers. All the signs in the store are laid out the same way, and they are very confusing. Which I told her from the get go. The pricing is not laid out clearly enough as it is with most other stores we had been shopping at. And no where does it say that the price is only the price, IF you purchase the box spring. We canceled the purchase based on principal. We felt like there was some kind of bait and switch tactic being used here. Would not recommend Mattress King and we are very disappointed.

My husband and I purchased a mattress set, we did not even have it a year before the mattress fell apart. They agreed to let us exchange it. However I did not want the same one as I was a little afraid the same thing would happen. So the mattress my husband picked out unfortunately was $ 800.00 cheaper then the first one. Well MATTRESS KING does not give refunds. They have already been paid in full because my husband and I had to put it on a loan. I am disabled and my husband works his butt off but MATTRESS KING DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AFTER THEY GET THEIR MONEY. SO WE GET TO PAY BACK ON A LOAN FOR $ 800.00 THAT MATTRESS KING HAS. SO I TRIED TO AT LEAST SEE IF THEY WOULD AT LEAST BE UNDERSTANDING REGARDING THIS SITUATION AND ASKED THEY IN GOOD SPIRIT GIVE US 2 SETS OF SHEETS AND 2 PILLOWS. THEIR ANSWER WAS NO. SO ITS LIKE WE WALKED INTO MATTRESS KING AND WROTE THEM A CHECK FOR $ 800.00 AND WENT HOME. I PUT 1 ON THIS RATING BECAUSE IT WOULDNT LET ME WRITE THE REVIEW WITHOUT PUTTING SOMETHING MY ACTUAL RATE IS 0. 2 SHEET SETS FOR A KING SIZE BED AND 2 PILLOWS DOES NOT REACH THE $800.00 THEY HAVE THAT THEY DO NOT DISERVE BUT WE GET TO MAKE A PAYMENT MONTHLY. I HOPE THEY HAVE A GOOD TIME DOING THIS TO A DISABLED PERSON AND HER HUSBAND. THIS IS YOUR REVIEW IF YOU PUT IT UP AND I BET YOU DONT.

I bought a mattress from Brian Bloodworth at the Smyrna store in late 2017. I was extremely satisfied with his knowledge as well as his patience. He didnt try to force me to buy a mattress that I was uncomfortable with and was more concerned with my happiness than pushing the most expensive items. I was so impressed that when I bought my house in early 2018 in another county, I chose to drive back to Smyrna and purchased another mattress from Brian. He truly cares only about his customers happiness and nothing else. I would highly recommend Brian and the Smyrna branch. So much so that I wont purchase a mattress from anyone or anywhere else.

I recently bought a king size mattress in July. Mike had a special sale on one of the mattress brand. I cant complain on the price I got for a king size but when they deliver my mattress, it wasnt the firm bedding I want. I picked a firm bedding but I got a plush instead. The frustration is when you called the salesperson and tell him whats going on. He pushed the problem back onto you and said you told him, you wanted a plush bedding. Then he will say, well the state of TN. dont have a trial period on mattress. So, Im stuck with what I dont want?? He cant exchange that plush mattress out to a firm bedding for me. No amount of money saved is worth the aching back sleep. I would not buy from there again. At mattress king, youre not the king, we are. That should be their new slogan.

It was a very easy, pleasant experience. I purchased a mattress from Pam and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. The price was fair and she handled it like a pro. I recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase a mattress. 5 stars!

We ordered a mattress and adjustable base on 11/14. It was delivered in the delivery window the following week. We love our mattress! The salesman was helpful.Only thing to complain about is when the two delivery guys arrived, they didnt have their own tools which was very unprofessional. My husband was at work, so it was just me to accept the delivery and one of the guys asked me for a hammer, ratchet tool and a screwdriver. I told him I didnt know where the ratchet is and he said, if your husband has a tool box, I can just go through it and find it. Umm NO. What man would want a stranger going through his tool box?The adjustable base also didnt come with enough bolts. So they had to leave and go to the store.

I had a good experience the only issue was confusion about the ads on tv vs when you get in the store but that has nothing to do with the in store experience. Still got an amazing deal on my bed and im sleeping much better now on a bed i never thought I could afford. Jeremiah was very helpful and took the time to make sure I got the right bed because I came in tired of the back pain my old bed was giving me.

Great Experience with the sales guy Larry. He was not pushy, shared general knowledge and let us do the choosing. Waiting to see how the product turns out.

Warning: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!! I wish I could them zero stars! We had what we thought was an ok mattress buying experience but the next day, when we found the same mattress online much cheaper and asked if they would price match (even though their policy says they will) we were told no. Sucks but whatever, we’ll just cancel our order since it’s still several days from being delivered. Should’ve been easy, right? NOPE! They refused to cancel our order! It took my husband 4 days, several hours of in store and phone calls each day with the store manager, the store owner, the vice president, and the area manager before they finally agreed to cancel and refund our money. Even after days of argueing about why can’t we just cancel since we don’t even have anything yet, they tried charging us a 10% fee to cancel! Hell no! I have never written a review and definitely never thought I would have to write a negative one but this was by far the WORST experience ever! Who would’ve ever thought it would be so hard to cancel and refund something you don’t even have yet?? Please do yourself a favor and do not do business with such a terrible company.

So far so good, I have my bed delivered on Friday September 20th. I purchased the Serta icomfort Genius. The sales lady was very knowledgeable of product and urged us to take all the time we needed as my husband and I went from bed to bed getting all comfortable.So far this bed has been exactly what we wanted, though I cant give it a 100% best bed every because I need to own it for about 2 years before I can claim that. I once owned a sleep number bed that was great at first and within 2 years time it became the most uncomfortable bed on the face of the earth.. So for now this bed gets and 8 out of 10... The next two years will determine if it gets a 10.
