Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Might need to go in store to see whats in stock since the website doesnt always have accurate inventory?

I was at the Simi Valley, CA store. I went for a twin/full bed frame. I had three people looking for the frame. My phone said they had it in the store. Neither of the three could find the item. I went to the front desk, The lady had lost her voice and could not be understood. She called someone, he came up front. Went back and found the item. The cashier scanned the item. It did not come up with the price discounted. She could not make any changes. She called another person, he came up front. He had no authority to make an override. Therefore six people in the store could not either find or sale the item to me. This is a large store and no service. It does not even deserve one star rating.

I went looking for a large meat platter not able to find one but picked up two Christmas plates for cookies or snacks. Always have a good supply of food stuffs and holiday goods and chairs, couch, and bedding, kitchen outside furniture for a patio.

I had the best shopping experience. I went in the store looking for hard to find items such as eye glasses, and insect spray and DVD movies to watch, and Big Lots had everything I needed. Their prices are very reasonable, and their customer service is excellent. But the best thing about Big Lots is that they are open on Sundays. What more can you ask from a store. Big Lots has my business forever!!!!!!

Lots of interesting items but shelves seem to be rather empty these days

You need to hire people who can speak fluent English, not Spanish or broken English. Super frustrating! Won’t shop at a store like that🤨

The candy selection is great Im like a kid in a candy store, this is the only place that I have been able to find soft candy you could always find Hard Candy anywhere but the gummy worms in the gummy bears ARE THE BEST😀

Bought furniture there and it was priced well and I love it.

Used to frequent it more when I lived in Santa Paula. Surprised to see the prices! Guess every store has High n low, but gee whiz. Surprised some of these other stores havent put them out.

Was shocked at the selection of food items, snacks, seasonal items and frozen foods, even a refrigerated section! In addition to household items and even furniture! Prices are unbeatable, even less than Walmart.
