Second Rhodes Ive taken to Ellisons shop after seeing what great work they do. I had Mark V that was in pretty rough shape and needed some extensive TLC. What I got back could have been the twin of the one that sits in Herbies studio. Plays like butter now, for a price that was more than fair and fast turnaround time to boot. Highly recommend.

Ellison is very knowledgeable and nice. He fixed up my Rhodes and now she is squeaky clean and sounds brilliant. He only did what was necessary (not inventing problems that need solved), and communicated every step of the way. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Amazing work done on my 77 Mark I Stage model. Voiced, tuned, cleaned it up, and totally fixed all the other minor issues my Rhodes was having. Sounds now how Ive always wanted it to sound. Turnover was extremely quick, dropped it off Friday night and picked it up Saturday evening. Ellison also showed me a few tips for doing my own general maintenance. Great cost. Cant recommend enough!

My husband has been carrying around a fender rhodes he got at a school auction about 11 years ago with the intention of fixing it himself. Well... 11 years later and a very heavy and unusable table kept following us around. I decided to see if anyone out there could help us out and found Ellison! He came all the way down to Tacoma to pick up and drop off the rhodes and sent us updates along the way as rhodey was getting all fixed up. This is the place and Rhodes servicing that I have been looking forward to for over 20 years! Ellison and Seattle Rhodes Repair know a Rhodes inside and out, all the techs, specs, he studies them, plays them, and he treated my Rhodes like it was his...you can look high and low for that kind of service, but you may as well stop and call Ellison. He thoroughly cleaned up, tuned up, got rid of some 30 year buzz, pots, resistors, etc. Plus he has a very hip CD with great musical textures and colors. Rambling but this dude...is the Rhodes dude!

Ellison does great work, under budget, in a fantastically quick time frame - he brought my heavily damaged Mark 2 stage piano back in a matter of two weeks where other places quoted months. I had him do a tune, tone and key leveling adjustment to mine, and he did the work promptly, and reasonably. Plus he gave me a bunch of tips on ways I can do minor adjustments if and when needed.
