Great tacos, go for the Pastor and you won’t be disappointed. Great grocery selection as well, it’s the only place near me that I have found Oaxaca cheese and perfect poblano peppers.

One of the best Mexican bakeries in KC! Their bread and pastry is always fresh. I certainly recommend Mi Pueblito.

Stopped in for the first time to grab a bite to eat with friends. When you first step inside you notice that its very clean and well lit. Food service was pretty quick as well. I ordered 3 tacos (2 barbacoa and 1 pollo) I would have to say that my favorite was the chicken. I also ordered what I though would be one gorditas. Its actually a plate of 3 so be prepared! They are huge as well. Everything tasted excellent and very fresh! Plenty of seating as well. Give it a try if you are in the area!

Delicious! We just got 2 Pollo 2 Barbacoa and 2 Carnitas Tacos. Incredible. The salsa was extremely hot and EXACTLY what we wanted. So good.

If you know beans youll lover here, fresh baked bolio bread every day and a fresh meat market! Theres a small restaurant area to test that meat right there! This place is delicious. Beware, its a taste of their food and culture Spanish is the 1st language in This little slice of Mexico.

So glad to have authentic taco options here in Shawnee. I go expecting that some meat options might not be available, the wait will be long and I might not speak the same language as the person behind the counter. I dont care, the food is LEGIT. Keep getting the food right and Ill be back again and again. $1 taco Tuesday and Wednesday, asad and tripas are great and Caldo de Rez or Munudo depending on what they cook that day.

My friends from Chile took me to eat here many times. Also grocery store has meat market in Kansas.

Not a place to go if you speak english. Tried to check on smoked meat n persons behind counter didnt understand.. At least have some that speaks bilingual languages

One of the best places to get authentic tacos, tortas and chiles rellenos!! And the variety of fresh mexican pastries is always fresh and abundant. The Conchas are our favorite! In the way back of the store is the carnicería ( meat market) where you find a plethora of different meats, from beef to seafood. And a lovely bonus: carnitas and chicharrones (dangerously crunchy and delicious fried pork skin) sold by the pound, hot and ready to go!One more thing: dont miss their taco Tuesdays! $1 a taco is the best deal on town!

Great place to stop and check out.We usually get our flour tortillas here. They have the biggest and thinnest ones around. Almost like the tortillas that Panchos on Main uses.They also have great corn tortillas.We havent tried the food yet, nor have we bought any meat.The produce looks fresh.Pretty good customer service.If you use a credit or debit card, make sure your purchase is more than $5.

Have eaten lunch here at least 8 times this last year. The food is excellent with a good selection. Have had many tacos, and they have pork and chicken tamales that are very good. Saw others ordering beef stew...will get that next time. Food is great, price is cheap. Plus, lots of authentic groceries. Many items yet to try on menu....will be back for sure!

Ive seen this from the street several times because I live in Shawnee finally went in but on a full stomach. Oh my goodness such an awesome place. A little of this and that. Was excited to eat authentic Mexican tacos and saw this was near by my place so I drove down the street, not to mention it was icy out and the roads were not that great... Showed up and stood for a good 5 minutes and the ladies didn’t even acknowledge me at all but clearly saw me and decided to speak to the people behind me who spoke Spanish. Not even a hello. But I brushed it off. Continued to order my food and a man behind me decided to help since they didn’t speak English well which was nice. (I know what it’s like because my family speaks a diff language too.) Left with my food and starting eating it and then I found a stone in it. On top of that the tacos are just way too small. The meat wasn’t great at all. I’ll just stick to Bonito Michoacán. So disappointed..

I am a Mexican American, and let me tell you this place is faaaaaaar from good or even “authentic” how most people review this place but I don’t blame them 😂 but seriously waste of money spend $50 on hot food and only 1 of the 6 different items that where bought was actually good. The hot food looks like it’s been out for days I mean DAYS. Please don’t waste your time or money and head to Bonito Michoacán, or El Torito. First and last time going there. No cap in my rap

The food for tacos looks like it was from days ago, a lot of fat and even bones, the flautas were really hard and the taste was bad. The place smells bad in general. We have been there a couple of times but I won’t go back again.

There were much better prices than Walmart. T-bones $3.99lb. Cilantro .33, limes .25. They also have authentic prepared food and dining tables.

I give this a 1 star because they need to respect their hours because i came at 9:49. The sign says they close at 10 the lady in the front didnt want to open the door and they had all their signs turned off. I always come to buy and spend a decent amount of money at the store. I really did not like what they did.

Their produce prices are awesome! I can walk out of there with a bag full of produce and only spend $5. You cant beat 10 limes for a dollar! The asada tacos are decent but the tacos al pastor are so good. I havent tried their meat market yet, but I plan on it.

The Torito mexican market is 100 times much better!! Very clean, cheaper, The meat they have for sale looks so much better. Clean and fresh. I initially only went in because I saw a sign that said Meat Market, and thinking it was a specialty butcher shop I just had to check it out. To my surprise it was actually a full on Hispanic grocery store with a Taqueria inside. Seeing as i was a little hungry I decided to sample some tacos. Here I am a few hours later still thinking about how good those tacos were, and pondering when I can go back. I am only giving it four stars because I didnt do any grocery shopping and cant fairly judge the quality of their groceries​. Regardless go and eat their tacos, especially the Tacos de Chicharon!

DISGUSTING!!!!!! I had carnitas and carne asada tacos and the pork had a discoloration and the carne asada was made with hamburger. I WILL NEVER COME AGAIN!!! Plus I waited about 15 minutes after I was done for someone to even ring me up. Terrible food and customer service...especially the women behind the food counter.
