Full disclosure, Im a vendor at this mall. After years as a customer witnessing the excellent customer service and dedication to keeping it an antique mall and not the flea market that many turn into I chose to set up my booth here when they had an opening. I live much closer to other malls and I would never consider switching locations.Almost two years in and Ive been incredibly happy with that decision and still do a lot of shopping here myself.The size of the mall is deceptive, much bigger than it looks from the outside. The jewelry store in the back (Jeweled Legacy) is fantastic and my fiance and I have commissioned them for some custom pieces.I cannot recommend this place highly enough, both as a customer and as a vendor. Even if I wasnt, my five star review would be the same.

If you cant find what you are looking for then it doesnt exist. Just kidding. To see everything antique would take multiple days. They have a lot of stuff. Very helpful staff. Definitely worth the stop.

My husband and I stopped in here one Sunday afternoon and could not believe we hadnt been there before! So much to see and so many things of interest. Variety in genre and age, I believe anyone could find something here they connect with. Prices are very reasonable too!

Staff rushed us out 15 mins before closing... an old salty lady, that definitely didnt make me want to come back. Brass armadillo is better, and the staff there seem to love what they do instead of feeling a need to ask paying customers to leave multiple times

Ended up being a disappointing place to do business. They have posted signs in the store that say “20% off entire store except items marked firm”. So we shopped and picked out a cpl of items. My husband was paying at the counter and noticed they didn’t discount our items. They lady said they weren’t doing the sale and made him take her to where the sign was. The sign was there. She still refused to discount our purchases. She said the sign should have already been taken down. If the sign is posted, she should have honored it and taken the sign down herself. Very disappointing.12/11/19:I opened my wrapped Pyrex today and took off the white tape that the seller placed on the piece. As you can see, the entire edge of one side of the lid is gone. Completely broken away and gone. The price tag on it said nothing about it being completely damaged. We traveled to KC yesterday for MRI’s and neuro-oncology appointments, and it would take 4 1/2 hours to drive there and back home again to return the piece. If I had known about the damage, I wouldn’t have purchased it as I could find an undamaged piece elsewhere.

Lovely antique shop with many different and unique items. Prices seem a wee bit high on some things but for the most part, prices are pretty reasonable. There is also a beautiful jewelry shop in the back of the store, where there are some very nice pieces. Just a nice little stroll back in time.

We always find neat collectables at this store.

Antique mall itself is standard (decent selection, overall reasonable prices, good variety, limited furniture. Some junkier booths but some fun finds), however the staff member I encountered at check out was EXTREMELY rude and unfriendly.He didnt smile, didnt talk to us, was impatient and short. I had an issue with the chip on my debit card not working and I followed the prompt on the card reader to remove my card. The staff member snapped at me, told me I shouldnt have taken it out. Put the card back in, same thing happened (the card reader didnt recognize my card). He told me it was because I had taken my card out too early... Tried this 2 more times, until switching to a different card. Awkward enough situation as is, (weve all been there before, right?) But it was made even worse by a rude employee who implied that I didnt have the funds to pay for my purchase.When we left, there was no Have a good day or thanks for coming in.If you cant be polite to your customers, then why be in customer service?? His demeanor was upsetting and off-putting enough that it severely detracted from what was an otherwise good experience.I wont go out of my way to go back.

I was in the market for a special gift, when I was called by Jeff to come and work on a lock problem. After taking care of their issue, I found just the gift item that I was looking for. They have a great variety of interesting items on hand and their store is well worth visiting.

This is a special place. I check it out every couple of months to see any news items. There are always new and unique items displayed through the store. The staff is always helpful and friendly to talk about the items youre interested in. My family does a white elephant gift every year for Xmas. I skip Amazon and come here. My house is decorated with all sorts of antiques Ive found by chance browsing around the store. If youre a person who likes antiques or just interesting things with history, check this place out.

Shawnee Kansas City Kansas is the best way for me to find antiques, especially, the Shawnee Antique Mall! The people who are interested in this kind of markets are the people looking for something unique, old, that may take them back in time. There is always something to buy that reminds them of yesterday. There is something else for people from all walks of life. Young and old come here to the Antique Mall, to get a part in things old and even new. This is what I like about Shawnee Antique Mall. You may find that Sams yearly birthday celebration at The Mall, interesting and special discounts, and even food, to celebrate Sams birthday. And dont forget Christmas and Hanukkah. There is a nice open to the public celebration, for this special time of the year. And nice discounts for gifts for those who love the old and new. And special treats and fruit homemade Christmas punch. This is open for the public, and its a real nice way to treat old and new customers. If you cant make it to Sams birthday party, make it to the Christmas party. All in all they have all kinds of gifts for others and yourselves. Dont miss it!!!!!

This place is really terrific, and I dont think Ive ever left empty handed. The vendors Barry significantly in their pricing, but I often find some tremendous bargains. This is one of the best in the area. If you havent been, check it out!

Very nice place. The owner was very helpful. The store is huge. The variety of antiques sold there is amazing. (If you collect Fiesta Ware youre really in luck). They dont have a lot of furniture but youll pretty much find anything else youre looking for.

SO much bigger than it looks from the outside. Lots of treasures but you need more time than we had to see it all. Theres also a jewelry store tucked in the back that looks interesting.

This place is like a time warp! There are so many items, in excellent condition, for you to admire and purchase. Every time I drive by I have to stop and take a quick peek. I have found some of the most adorable vintage Christmas decorations here! They have an array of items, you will surely find a special treasure from here!

If you like vintage, the old, this is a great place to visit. Be prepared to spend some time there, its a pretty big place with lots of treasures. I could go everyday and not see the same things twice. Staff is pleasant, knowledgeable. They host one of the BEST open houses during the holiday season. Prices are what I comsider to be reasonable.

Large selection, multivendor like most antique malls. Found plenty of interesting items and a couple Christmas gifts. Everything was priced well with nothing bring outrageous.

I just heard about this place and found some cool Star Wars, Turbografx-16 and PC Engine stuff! Its all still there, so go get it. :)

This is a great place if you’re looking for small antique stuff. Not a great place for furniture or trunks or anything. But dishes and small items it is great.

This is a fun place to visit and its a big space. Bigger on the inside than it looks.

Was disappointed I couldnt the right urn for Grandma, but I did find a cool old toaster! Great selection of Santa ornaments too! Ho, ho, ho!

Small but NiceThis antique mall is small in comparison to some that Ive visited but its well kept. Most of the booths have enough items to give you a moment to pause and look around. There are some rooms toward the back and a couple turns to the left or right to explore.I was disappointed that a couple of things I almost purchased were moldy or deteriorating. In the end I found a nice bone china cup and saucer to use for tea and a couple of other items for my collections.

The staff are always super friendly and helpful. I always have a good time browsing here. The stalls vary on inventory turnover but I can always find something new. There are a lot of excellent statement pieces as well, which feels like the harder find at times.

This place is a hidden gem in KC. I stopped by here by chance. I was shocked why I found this place now. Sections are amazingly organized. The range of antiques are beyond your imagination. If you enjoyed watching American Pickers, this should be the MUST visit place for you!

I absolutely love Shawnee Antique Mall! The staff is extremely helpful and very familiar with their vendors. Its tucked away in a strip mall and if you havent been, you must go. There are a lot of booths so plan to be there a while. Its a gem!

Friendly staff and so much to look at! The store was clean and organized. (for an antique shop)I thought the jewelry shop in the back was cery nice and an interesting idea.

They have a little of everything here but the best treasure is the Jeweled Legacy shop in the back corner!

A great store with a lot of retro items. They have a lot of things from almost every decade. I think its really neat to walk through the place and see a lot of the things that were around before I came about on this planet.
