Very disappointed. Was promised a 15% discount if I opened a credit account to make a purchase. The sales person was very cagey, said the discount would show on the statement. Three weeks later, called to inquire and was told this is a not a discount, only a store credit for the next purchase. The woman on the phone said I am not the first to make this complaint. She apologized, but made no effort to fix it. I closed the card.

Theyve slipped over the years. There was a time they had 5 stars from me, but now every time I go in SOMETHING GOES WRONG. I asked to be added to the queue. They say Im all set and will get a guy in 10 minutes. I checked back after 20. They say Im not in queue. They deny I ever asked because I never gave them into (They never asked. And for the recorder they still could have queued me and sent the guy to the TV where I said I would be.) Anyway NOW HE SAYS ILL BE PUT IN QUEUE (But again, doesnt ask for info) 20 minutes later I dont exist. When I point out to manager this happens to me every visit, he says We each have our own opinion?OPINION??? ITS A FACT!!! I WAITED 40 MINUTES FOR NOTHING! NO ONE EVER ASKED MY INFO! ARE THEY NOT TRAINED TO DO THAT?? Then he says hell make it right. So what does he do? He says hell personally sees to eat that Im put into the Qu-GOODBYE!!! Honestly TRAIN THEM TO DO THEIR JOBS RIGHT. If I need to give them into to be added to the queue (Unlike 3 other nearby Best Buy where you dont need to do that, mind you...) CLARIFY THAT! And dont you DARE turn around and blame ME because YOUR EMPLOYEES ARENT CLEAR HOW TO GET HELP.I used to love this Best Buy. Now Ill only ever enter it for a DVD or a wire, and nothing else.To be clear though still love the company as a whole and the Warwick, RI gets FIVE STARS.

Best Buy is not what it use to be. Its the new Blockbusters in the era of streaming movies and Netflix. I went up ask the person sitting at the desk when you come in a question and he said before I could ask him anything, If you want to talk to someone, go talk to someone over there.I guess you cant ask Best Buy employees questions. Whats the point of wearing the shirt? You can get better service from the online bots. Ive been shopping at this Best Buy for over a decade. Its unfortunate.

Drove over to best buy. I was greeted and then headed into the cell phone area. 2 associates helped with the purchase of a new phone. Then they cashed me out for the wrong phone. I wasnt offered a phone case, protection plan, or a bag for my purchase. It was terribly awkward and unprofessional. I would say rude as well, but the associates didnt talk during the entire interaction.

I have been to this location twice now, the first time to get a new cell phone and 2nd to get a screen protector replaced and both times I was helped by a WONDERFUL employee named Raymer (I think that’s how it was spelled, I took a quick glance at his name tag I apologize if it’s wrong) he was incredibly friendly and helpful. This particular Best Buy is not the one closest to me but I drove the extra few miles because he made my shopping experience so pleasant the first time I was there. He went above and beyond to answer my questions and get me set up with what I needed. The other employees I encountered were helpful and friendly too (which made my shopping experience something special because I don’t see it much these days) but Raymer stood out in particular. I will continue to come back to this location.

I ordered online curbside pickup specifically from this location because they had my item in stock that night. I drove an hour to the store item already paid for just to be told it’s not ready in the computer meanwhile they went and brought my product to the desk and would not give to me. Here’s my advice go shop with Walmart or Amazon Best Buy customer service will do nothing for you or make good on their word shop elsewhere

I still hit Best Buy all the time. Its the last of the retail stores with a real selection, where you can see, touch, try the electronics before buying. Also I highly recommend seeing Eric S in the North Attleboro store in that Pacific Kitchen area because hes gone above and beyond for my friends and I while buying our appliances. Also seek out Paulie in home theater if you want real advice on speakers and home hifi. Hes the man.

Total waste of time! -The salesman in this store who sold me a laptop assured me that it had more than enough memory for the data that the stores geek squad would transfer to it from my old laptop, and that the process will be quick.The geek squad technician that took my old laptop that I had brought with me didnt check it, but said the process will take a couple of days.That was the first disappointment.The next day, the geek squad called me and told me that the new laptop I had bought the day before didnt have enough memory for the data stored on my old laptop.Second disappointment.Upon realizing that the personnel in this store was incapable and unreliable, I canceled the purchase of the data transfer service and the new laptop, and took back my old laptop.I will wait a few years before going back to this store.

Went there to buy a stove top microwave. Was greeted at the door...theater like rope preventing anyone from entering great pedemic cautious totally approve. Greeter asked me the reason for my visit which I indicated need a microwave..he noted on an iPad. Couldnt see many customers but quite a few employees. Greeter told me it would just be a few minutes. I asked if could go look in the mean time, he let me threw assuring me someone would meet up with me shortly. I started looking o boy prices crazy cheapest $389.00 not what I wanted, the one that was comparable to my kitchen design was a whooping almost $600.00. I kept looking thinking plenty of time since no one was coming to help me...after about 15 minutes or so I decided to go to the front desk since no one coming to help me as 3 employees pass me. I said.. excuse me can someone help me please..one did. I had decided on the cheapest budget and all..he said I could have it in 6 days..I asked him if there was any available NOPE. Waste of my time. Bought one on Amazon $279.00 delivered 2 days!

Geek Squad requires appointments due to the pandemic, but still quality service.Less choices to store view, but associates will assist you finding what you need and having it shipped to your home.Immaculate facility and compliant with state and CDC regulations. Masks and sanitizer available at the door; limited numbers in the store and sanitizing stations throughout the store.Good choice.

Bought two speakers, they were delayed with zero explanation. My boyfriend was upset and just wanted to know what was going on. The little girl working the counter kinda pushed the one speaker into our hands and said “they’ll email you.” 🤷🏻‍♂️ ok... but maybe provide SOME sort of explanation? Lost in mail? Shipping delay? Damaged? Like, what? Incredibly rude.

Went into buy a particular item and wasnt told while talking to the store employee that there was a restocking fee which was in the 15 to 20% range till I was at one of the remote register. I was then told I couldnt buy the manufacturer warranty and would have to buy the best buy warranty which was just over double the manufacturer warranty and was half the price of the actual item. So needless to say I refused to sign the restocking fee agreement and told the employee that I would just buy it directly from the manufacturer. In a day and age where you can return anything within 30 days for free, charging a restock fee is bit ridiculous.

Just want to comment on a new policy that’s been implemented at the Best Buy in Seekonk ma. These are the following observations. We were denied access into the store by a coral gate keeper. Number two we had to wait for someone to come off the floor to take us somewhere and help us with our needs. After waiting a short time we decided to go in because we didn’t care to wait and we’re told we may still have to wait. Then we had the same situation develop With no employee to help us. So I went to talk with the young man gatekeeper corralling people in. The ore all experience was very unpleasantI and I wanted to provide him the feedback. Strangely enough, there was a lot of people in the store that felt the same way. In speaking with Justin, I could tell he’s trying to be polite but didn’t really want to hear it. Disrespectful is a good word. We were hoping to make a purchase for a printer and a laptop as well as find out about mobile Internet connectivity for laptop..It was a total waste of time. Decided to Staples, walked in found same laptop. grabbed a laptop a printer paid for it and walked out. It’s too bad because we like Best Buy previous set up and service but the bottleneck is not going to work.

I ordered a TV for curbside pickup. All seemed well, until I did not receive any updates on my purchase nor any timeframe when to pick up my order. I tried calling the store directly and after waiting through a decently long robot menu, I finally was able to speak to the robot. After multiple questions, I was put through to finally speak to a person. I waited on hold for over 15 minutes on multiple phones, hoping I’d get through in some way. Two hours on the phone holding and contacting Best Buy customer service, I still have no idea the status of my order as I was never put through to the right person. I was even hung up on once. I will be cancelling my order and getting my money back and will take my service elsewhere for easier and better customer service.

A customer walked into the store I work at with a phone that wasn’t activated. The customer was sold a google pixel 4a cell phone at this Seekonk Best Buy and whenever you sell someone a phone your first step of business is to activate it. The customer was told that they could not activate the phone because the store was closing. However, the real reason is that the sales person wanted to go home after making commission off of a sale and was too lazy to finish the job. Please if you sell someone a phone make sure you activate it. It’s the least you can do instead of dumping your incomplete sales on other cell phone carriers. Trust me we’re busy enough, try and be considerate whoever you are that sold a woman a pixel 4a right before you closed

I bought a refrigerator from Best Buy And paid for delivery and installation. upon delivery the delivery guys said the fridge would not fit in my apartment and refused to remove the doors to make it do so. Then just left it on the back deck with a broken wheel! So I followed the directions and removed the doors In doing so I found that the waterline to the door is broken as well. The store could only give me the number to Geek Squad and when I finally got in touch with Geek Squad They would only offer a $200 Best Buy gift card for my compensation of owning a damaged fridge that cost $1350 and paying for delivery installation. This is been such a horrible experience all around and do not think I will ever shop Best Buy ever again because of this. Do yourself a favour and do not buy an appliance from Best Buy. THEY DO NOT BACK THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL!!!

I received a tv as Christmas gift (purchased from North Dartmouth Ma store) and having issues with the sound going out. Been calling for two weeks and am on hold for over 35 minutes. I’ve called 6 times and get no response-have sent emails as well and NO response. I’m appalled and disappointed in the lack of customer service/support. Additionally, a lot of money was paid for set up and installation and tv doesn’t work properly.Next, I’ll be calling corporate.

Where do I even begin... I ordered a TV open box because it was a great deal on a newer model.I understand due to COVID certain things will change and stores are minimizing the number of people allowed inside, however, I tried to come inside to test my TV and was unable to. I get home and plug it in and the entire screen is cracked and the TV is useless. The store had closed for the night so the next day I went back to return and order a new one.I was told that I would be getting a brand new TV at the same rate, I was very happy with this and had no other issue.Fast forward to today, my new TV arrives and I pick it up in store. The box was quite damaged but due to my last experience, I was able to come in and test it before returning home.Now that I am home Im realizing this new TV was also a return/open box when I was promised it would be new. This TV, although not broken is missing parts like the AV/RCA Conversion cable that is listed, as well as the power cord being from a samsung TV (I purchased LG). Now the cable fits and works just fine, thats not the issue. But as someone who is a huge movie buff and regularly watches both DVD and VHS movies, this is a major inconvenience. Ive been waiting on hold now for the store to answer the phone for the last 30 minutes and this is just unacceptable.Get it together Best Buy, or maybe take the best out of your name.EDIT: Upon explaining this to customer service I was told they would have the Seekonk store contact me directly to sort out this issue. After a week I still hadnt heard from them so I called and was directed once again to customer service.After almost two hours of being repeatedly placed on hold and having to explain my situation over and over again I am told to go to the store. I am completely disappointed in best buy and will be taking my issue to a higher echelon.

So far I havent enetered this store because I recently moved nearby and with COVID and all. Ive been getting my orders brought to me in my car because of their COVID guidelines adherence, which is excellent. Their service is pretty fast. Everytime I order I am notified within less than half hour that my order is ready for pick up and when I arrive at their parking lot, (which is very spacious and clean with designated pick-up spots) i get my stuff brought out by nice peeps in less than 5 minutes.
