What a delightful surprise finding this hidden gem! Four of their made to order sandwiches so far. Fresh, tasty bread, excellent sauces, generous and perfect ratio of meat and cheeses, fresh and crisp veggies... its like each is a new piece of art for your eyes and mouth! Im a fan.

This is a great hidden gem of a deli. I come here when ever I’m in this part of town or ill even drive my boat here for lunch. The firecracker sandwich is awesome. Another surprise about this place is the unique selection of steaks from local farms as well as the grocery items that look like they should be in an upscale market.This picture didn’t do the sandwich as much justice as I had hoped. But it does show the crisp outside and the meaty-saucy goodness inside

Stopped by for a chai and bagel and left very satisfied. Well mixed chai (with coconut milk), and awesomely fresh bagel toasted perfectly for my taste. Excellent variety of goods, and the owner was helpful and courteous. I will return and would recommend to anyone.

My favorite spot for lunch when Im around Fishermans Terminal! Any sandwich I have had is absolute perfection and everyone is always welcoming.

When I came into this store, the man and woman working there just look at me, did not not greet me or asked if I needed help but had 3 minutes later a white man walks in here and he gets a warm greeting. I promptly walk out as they were not going to get my service/money. I wouldnt suggest coming here if your black.

Hands down the best sandwich in town. Joe is personable and friendly, treats his guest as friends and definitely knows his way around the kitchen. You have to try the Corleone, it will have you coming back for more.

Joe and all the staff at Green Market are so great! The espresso is good, the sandwiches are AMAZING (try anything with Mama’s sauce), and there is a variety of cool items in the store. Really though, the secret is the breakfast sandwiches** - go try one!** I recommend the ‘ordinary’, which is an ‘extraordinary’ without chicken (english muffin, egg, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and mama’s sauce). Maybe if enough people start ordering it, Joe will officially name it for me. (:

Joe has bent over backwards to fulfill orders for me and for our company. The sandwiches are well priced, filling and delicious. I dont think Ive ever had a bad sandwich from here. They also have a little bit of everything, like your corner convenience store, but organic.

A friend recommended this place to me and I wasnt disappointed. I ordered the Hot Mama ($9.99) which only took a few minutes to make. The sandwich was delicious and there are some tables and benches right outside you can eat at that face the docks. If youre a sauce conoisseur, or even just a sauce boss, then I would recommend asking for extra sauce on your sandwich when you order.

Best Coffee in America! After searching all the way up the west coast, I finally found somewhere that has great coffee. The sandwiches are great too with the owner Joe having worked in many restaurant kitchens before starting his own ... and all reasonably priced. Do yourself a favour and stop by!

Their sandwiches are super yummy! They offer both cold and hot options and the market has some fruits and snacks you can grab. Its a great option to have on this side of the bridge. Definitely call ahead since they can get extremely busy.

Love the sandwiches and coffee at this place! The owner is usually working behind the counter and very attentive to his customers. I highly recommend the deckhand.

The first sip I took of the coffee made me pause because the flavour was so delicious that I was caught off guard. I came back every day just to make sure I wasnt crazy and because it was good and it was excellent every time. They use dellanos coffee roasted here in Seattle, and sell the beans as well. Their drinks are consistent and fantastic, I tried the salmon melt and that was also flavourful with nice texture and fresh ingredients.

Purchased a Reuben to have for lunch the next day! For being leftover, just popped it in the convention oven to heat, turned out to be excellent! Quality is great and reasonable priced too... will definitely be my favorite sandwich place :-)

2 star grocery 4 star cafe. As a grocery store this place is lacking and the prices arent great. The salads, sandwiches and coffee are good but also a little pricey compared to other options in the area.My reason for 3 stars is due to value.

Best hot sandwiches around. Rarely a wait. Do your taste buds a favor and pick up a Reuben or deck hand.

Im so happy to have a little market right in fishermens terminal for when you dont have long on shore. They have a good quality selection with lots of organic options and tasty home made sandwiches and wraps. Also good place for coffee.

I went here for lunch while I was taking a class nearby. I have food allergies (gluten and dairy) so I was happy to see they had gluten free bread as an option. I got the Sofia sandwich on gf bread with no cheese and a small bag of chips, no drink. Pro: best sandwich Ive had since developing allergies, it had flavor, even the gf bread which was a multi grain style. Con: about $12.50 for a small sandwich and small bag of chips! I wandered around the market and they have good healthy food, but all of it is significantly more than I pay for the same brands normally. I dont know if its because they have a captive audience with the marina, or because Ballard is just more expensive, but I had sticker shock for sure. Very convenient if you dock your boat here though.
