I love this place - quality ingredients and lots of fun stuff to choose from. I get inspired by the wide variety of things they have. And their customer service is amazing!! Highly recommend whether you need specific ingredients or you are just browsing for ideas...

Went in to have a look around real quick and upon exiting the owner says “oh so you’re those types of people who come from the brewery and walk in here and never buy anything huh? Figures” She then proceeds to kind of guilts us into buying something. Part of me gets it, I’d hope that everyone who enters my hypothetical store would buy something too, but she certainly had a baditude about it and was quick to lay the guilt trip on pretty thick. Won’t be coming back here again but also kind of took it as a life lesson to not enter stores unless I’m certain I will purchase something.

Very cool store. My first time here. They have a lot of cool stuff that are not available anywhere else. Could be pricy though...

Got my Tasmanian honey and honey drops today--everything was packed very well--the can my honey was in was package well so the can would not dent--thanks for packing it good

We have been going to Chef Shop for years. They are friendly, helpful, and have a variety of specialty food you wont find elsewhere. One of my favorite things to do is sample the various olive oils, looking to the next one to add to our kitchen.

A great local shop with all kinds of foods and cooking items from around the world. It’s a great place to source unique treats for your own home, and a terrific place to pick up a gift for that someone who’s hard to buy for. The owner and staff are attentive and helpful. And there’s free parking on the side of the building.

Walking in, the shop is tidy and organized. The employees are helpful, friendly, and cheerful. If there is a cooking class in session, the store is closed, which I wasnt aware of on my first walk-in visit. Made me sad, because I needed an ingredient that day, but oh well. Went in and I was cheerfully greeted. She asked if I needed anything, and helped me find it. Let me look around on my own, and see what was there, without pestering me about what I needed, just told me her name was Megan, and that she was happy to help me out. She offered me a drink, told me I got a discount because I am a culinary student (10%!) and told me about this awesome new Olive Oil theyre getting in from Greece, which she thought I should try (and it was amazing, Ill be back to get some once that shipment comes in!). Overall, an awesome experience.Great for specialty products that you cant find in restaurant supply stores, or grocery stores. They work directly with a lot of producers, and many local farmers and butchers, which I think is just great. What a wonderful store.

I love this store. The people are knowledgeable and very motivated to share it with you. They have a great selection of items that are unique and inspire me to try new cooking ideas. Highly recommend stopping by to peruse!

I came here to get a birthday present for my mom, because she mentioned this shop has some ingredients from Ottolenghis cookbook. However, it was new years day and they were closed with a sign on their door saying they were usually closed on holidays. Its frustrating that they didnt update their hours online or on their answering machine, and I went well out of my way to give them a try.

Love this shop! Have bought from them on line for past many years but had never been in the store. Visited Seattle for Thanksgiving and made my first visit to the store on Black Friday. Was able to taste many tasty foods and tried panettone for the first time. Tim in the store was extremely knowledgeable about all the products. Highly recommend the store!

I ordered mustard seed oil online, a brand that I know and thatwas pictured on the website, they sent a completely different product, taste is strong but not subtle, not what i wanted, not what I ordered, and when I complained they didnt even reply.
