Juan is absolutely amazing! Hes one of those stylists where I feel comfortable getting in his chair and trusting his judgment completely. As a person, he is incredibly kind, intelligent and community-oriented. He is now our family stylist and I would never go anywhere else!

Stopped by @glamandtonics today to pick up some shampoo, and they gave me these beautiful flowers because #HappySpring! I love love love the amazing people who work there and just cant say enough amazing things about then and the work they do. I always leave with a smile. ❤They know hair, can work miracles, and are the nicest people youll ever meet. Just go - you wont regret it.

I recently got a Keratin Complex treatment from Lucy and 10/10 I would recommend. I have very curly and frizzy hair and the treatments I have gotten in the past did virtually nothing for me. After this one my hair is so smooth and shiny, and it has taken my curl and frizz down a lot making it so much more manageable and reducing my drying time by about 50%. If you are on the fence about which treatment to try I highly recommend the keratin complex if you want to reduce your curl and/or frizz.Also have to mention the salon is absolutely beautiful and the staff is all so friendly and welcoming, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience as smoothing treatments can take a long time.Thanks Lucy and Glam & Tonics staff!

I love this place! The stylist cut my hair and did such a good job. She walked me through everything she was doing and explained the whole process. It was the first time I havent felt anxious during a haircut! The place was clean and cute and I am definitely going back.

Not only is Juan a joy to be around, but he made my hair incredibly soft and healthy. Hes very knowledgeable and gave an incredible scalp treatment. Cant wait to come back!

Justin and Juan are THE BEST!! Justin gave me a wonderful light summer color and cut and I just had Justin give me a darker color for the Fall and it looks amazing! Ive received nothing but compliments on how rich the color is, how nice my hair looks. This place is great for my ego ;) They both make great suggestions, give great customer service and make you feel at home. Great place!!

I call Glam & Tonics The Eye of the Storm. Theyve created a zen atmosphere on an insanely busy street, thats calming and refreshing. Whatever stress Im feeling always fades as soon as I walk into the perfectly decorated shop. The salon staff is wonderful--enthusiastic and professional. These guys know what theyre doing! A great upscale addition to the community.

I really love this salon and spa!! Nina, does an AMAZING manicure and zero gravity pedicure. Most relaxing Mani/Pedi experience Ive ever had! Everyone in the salon is very friendly and eager to make you feel welcome. Not to mention the salon/spa itself is beautiful and relaxing.

I been going to this salon for salon 2 years having a spa pedi and mani with Jackie she does a very good job on my nails and does exactly the way I wanted. Shes good listener when you tell her what you want. She professional with her work and passionate too. She loves to talk to her clients and I can talk to her about anything. The atmosphere is mellow and relaxing I love it I recommend everyone to come to this salon.

I moved to Seattle a year ago and was nervous to find a new colorist. Justin did exactly what I wanted, my blonde highlights are so natural and brighten up my face. The salon is gorgeous. I found my place!

Shane Talley is the BEST at knowing exactly what to do with hair and makeup! He devised a hair plan for me (and I am very picky) that works great and a color that is absolutely wonderful! I have used Aveda since the beginning of time, and it is important to me to continue to use these products. The salon is always clean, everyone is always friendly and Shane Talley is always accommodating with my schedule! The best salon around with the best stylists for hair and makeup!

I am new to Seattle and always have gone to AVEDA salons however, Glam and Tonics is definitely the best salon Ive gone to. I had jet black hair and want to go back blonde and Justin was unbelievably honest and patient and explained everything to me and even did a test strand. In the past, most stylists just go for it even though they know itll be brassy which is something I ALWAYS reiterate is NOT what i want. He told me from the beginning that if we tried that is what will happen. He came up with a game plan that will get me to where I want in the healthiest way possible for my hair. I definitely will recommend this salon to anyone and everyone.

This was my first appointment needing some color help while in town on a work trip. Juan did an amazing job with my hair color, cut, and style. I highly recommend trying this place out if you are looking for a new stylist.

Id like to start off my review by saying that Justin is a fine stylist and is very nice. But Im giving Glam & Tonics 2 stars because I feel like I could have been treated better, haircut-wise. I have been to Glam & Tonics twice now, my first time in the summer of 2018. I got a good amount of hair chopped off for the summer, and I was so happy with the result. However, during my cut with Justin, I felt that he was a little rough with my head. His comb scraped my ears multiple times -- but I didnt think too much of it. Then on my second visit, I just came in for a simple trim, only needing an inch and a half off. After getting my hair washed, Justin started to comb my wet hair, and he was pulling quite hard (and my ears were scraped yet again). Not once did he ask me if he was being too rough or asked if I was okay. I typically like to sit and relax in the chair, and usually get nervous about speaking up... so I just thought Id sit and deal with it because tangled hair is tangled hair. It was strange to have as many tangles as I did though, so I dont think the appropriate products were used for my hair. Next, I had the strangest blowdry. It seemed like there was no technique to my blowdry, as it was basically being blowdried sideways? I couldnt tell if Justin was combing through my hair with a brush or his fingers during it, but this time my hair was being pulled way more hard. Its as if there was no point in combing it wet because it was just being blown in all directions... Nonetheless, of course I was happy with my trim, and I tipped him as well (tipped the 1st time too). But I dont think Ill be coming back because I dont think Ive felt that much pain for 2 simple haircuts.

This is the chillest salon ever. Its professional, stylish, and staffed entirely by fellas. Its an Aveda place, so you get the yummy Aveda tea and the chance to peruse the cool products. Ive been seeing Juan, the owner, for about a year and really like him and the haircuts he gives me.

I had never been here until recently when I went in for a trim and will definitely be coming back! Justin listened to what I looking for and gave me a great cut!

I went to get a bleach and tone which was already scheduled and when I got there Dirk decided that he wanted to not do the bleach and tone which I scheduled so this review explains why I would never go here again ever
