These guys when above and beyond, fixing some shoddy brake work from another shop and even stayed late (on a Friday!) to deliver my van on the day promised. 100% recommended.

Wow! Talk about turning a customer relationship around for the better. I brought my lifted Toyota Tacoma in on 08/04/2021 for an alignment. I picked it up after-hours as my schedule conflicted with their operable hours. When I picked it up, I was disappointed to see that there was a motor-oil stain on my drivers seat that wasnt there when I dropped it off.I wrote to them through their main point of contact on the website and addressed it, asking if they put plastic over the seats, and that Im going to have to bring my truck into a detailer to get the stain out. I was met with an e-mail the next morning from Doug, the owner, with a very receptive and apologetic response, explaining they make all attempts to not have stain transfer, and that hed happily reimburse however much the detailing costs. We worked out a deal we both thought to be reasonable, a refund of the whole alignment cost. When I received the check, he rounded the cost up and gave me an extra about $15 with a specialized note apologizing again for the issue.This is how you do it, and now you have a customer for life. Thank you, Doug, and Ill definitely be back once I get my after-market upper control arms.

Not the cheapest around town but the quality is HIGH. It will save you time going back to the dealership for alignment. I had my 4Runner aligned at a Toyota dealership, first the car pulls to the right. I came back and had it fixed, it no longer pulls the right but the steering wheel is not straight when driving on a straight line and is off by degrees.I went to truline because of the positive reviews and I am not disappointed.

These guys stand behind their work. After two alignments from another shop, my truck was still pulling to one side. I took it to Tru Line since people say they are the best in Seattle. Unfortunately, despite their corrections, the truck still wasnt tracking straight. At that point, I assumed it was the tires. Five months later I did my first rotation and the truck still had the same issue, and I knew it wasnt the tires since I rotated from side to side. I called them up and they had me in two days later. In one hour they had corrected the issue for free and apologized for the inconvenience. I definitely recommend them. They stand behind their work even if months have passed.

Ive been to a lot of shops in Seattle for a car restoration project (Mercedes ML55), and I’ve thus far never had a bad experience with any of them. But, Tru Line stands out as one of the best. They fitted new shocks on my vehicle and were tasked with diagnosing a weird noise, which they did but did not fix the issue. I called back and they had me in the next day, found the issues and fixed it without charge because that was their original task. Customer service is excellent, they follow covid safety restrictions, and the work done is quality. As a car guy and a tinkerer, I highly recommend them.

Ive heard the line, I can charge you the extra $170 if youd like, but theres not much difference! Then I asked them if they can identify a directional problem (Twice found, twice replaced!), and balance them, so my British Motor Car never shakes on the highway, regardless of speed? Then I show both receipts and prove how Off others work, as always, doesnt come close to precision! Then reply, Ive heard your line before... quite Un-Tru!

By far the best alignment place in Seattle. Not cheap. For an F30 with steering wheel angle sensor reset, I walked out $300 poorer. But if you want it done right and not have to come back because the steering wheel is crooked or car still pulls to one side, then its well worth the trouble. Professional and chill people.

Doug and the crew at Tru Line did an absolutely amazing job on my rare 19,000 mile 67 Chevelle SS ex race car. I restore these old classics as a hobby for myself, and Tru line dialed in every aspect of my suspension and alignment problems that I came in with.I had originally taken the bare frame to another shop(that has since gone out of business) to get straightened, and after charging me over $2500, I later found that I still had several bent problems on my frame. Doug was able to diagnose those mistakes immediately, and he fixed everything in a quick and timely fashion. My car now goes down the road straight as an arrow and smooth as butter. Great service and attention to detail! I recently took my 2019 MX-5 after an accident suspension repair in a previous shop that left my car a shadow of its former self. Within a couple of hours my car was back to glory! They test drove it before and after to get everything in order, explained what was done to the car and gave me a spec sheet at the end with all the measurement changes in alignment. Overall great shop, and customer service.

My 71 Volvo had a number of noises, bumps, and bad behavior despite new tires. They diagnosed things and fixed things (like one front wheel being lower than the other!) in little time and for a very reasonable price. The car has major improvements in ride quality, noise reduction, and handling. Not just good but WOW!

Ive brought 2 different cars in over the past 4 years, always been very happy with everything about this shop. They are professional and courteous. Whether it was just a check up, assessment after a collision, or help after a suspension upgrade/lift kit, I have always been thrilled with their work. Sometimes its something mysterious or subtle, in any case the car always feels better when I leave the shop. They clearly know their stuff. Id highly recommend them.

My Audi feels like new again after alignment and new tires. Doug was really friendly and answers all my questions nicely. Their price is on the higher side ($160 for alignment and $40 ish for steering angle sensor adjustment). But for the same price you got experts doing great work while in dealer they usually just want to get you out of the door asap and dont spend time on perfecting the specs, so Im fine with that. Tru line also provided print outs of 3 things: 1. Alignment sheet. 2. Steering angle sensor adjustment. 3. Road force balance graph.

It appears my Lexus alignment was very close to spec which I can tell from the printout. At 140,000 miles ithe alignment was a maintenance item. However now it seems the car is more locked down when driving at speed. It may be just imagination but I am happy. I got all my questions answered and feel it was money well spent for an alignment and related programming. Highly recommend.

These guys are great. I know nothing about cars or the insurance issues around who got my car, and they were so generous with their time while I was figuring it all out. They did an excellent, quick job with my car and made sure to explain everything well. They also are good people! Let me pay on payday, as when I got hit it was the week before Christmas and things were tight. Kindness like that gets you customers for life, I would really recommend this place!

I went in for an oil change and alignment, it was easy, fast and affordable. They addressed a couple concerns of mine brought forth by a local dealership. I trusted what they had to say and showed me what they were talking about. They got my trust by going the extra mile to save me money and gave me perspective about how other shops/dealerships create work for themselves by not really looking at the parts but reading the mileage. I take my truck here because theyll only do work if its necessary and educate the customer how to get the most out of their vehicle while developing driving habits that save money as well!!

Best auto shop in Seattle. They are very personable, super knowledgeable, and fast! They solved a very irritating noise under the car that the Infiniti dealer, after three days of trying to find the problem, finally gave up on. And the cost....a whopping $75. The cheapest car repair bill I have ever had and I now have my sanity back! No more road headaches!

Truline did an amazing job aligning and repairing front end components for my 1987 Westfalia. The van drives like new now, and its almost eerily quiet. The folks there were thorough, professional to the core, and just gifted in their craft. Im so glad to know I have a place I can really trust to keep this well-used and much loved old camper on the road.

I rebuilt my suspension and unlike pep boys, good year, Firestone, they actually did an alignment, and did it in less time than it took for pep boys to tell me they wouldnt do it.

Frankly I had been dreading getting an alignment and new tires based on past experiences with other tire shops and had procrastinated to the last minute - just before a road trip of course. Tru-line was completely different than those other shops. We discussed my tire performance wish list and TL graciously accommodated my self inflicted time crisis and got the alignment and new tires done in plenty of time. Turns out TL suggested a tire which was absolutely perfect. Im completely thrilled with the product. During the whole process TL showed great care, attention to detail and excellent follow up. Doug and his team did an excellent job on my Mercedes E320 4Matic. Found a screw in my tire this morning. Googled around and Tru Line had the best ratings, so I gave them a call. They were able to get me in at 1:30p same day (the day before Thanksgiving!), found the screw hadnt gone all the way in. Took it out and patched things up, all for free. Wont hesitate to come back next time I need work done.

Tru-Line just mounted and load-balanced my new tires on old bent rims then aligned my 2005 Legacy GT wagon. It now drives like a new rear-wheel drive car. The front wheels are much more free to turn. It is great. They stayed open late so I could pick up my car too. Thank you, you guys ROCK!

Pretty sour taste in my mouth after this visit.-1 star for gouging my rim with a 3mm wide scratch from the alignment machine heads.-1 star for not cleaning up after yourself and leaving my frame, alternator, and inner fender dripping with power steering fluid. a single can of parts cleaner must have been too much to ask.-1 star for doing work i didnt approve and then falling back on the well you didnt say anything in your emails excuse despite numerous times communicating my intentions verbally when dropping the vehicle off and over the phone.-1 star for not finishing the alignment (steering wheel 90 degrees off) and blaming it on me not approving all the work.nearly 600$ in unapproved charges and call it doing me a favor.

Great guys to work with. Theyve been doing my autocross alignments and are willing to do what you want as well as give advice on what to change. I also messed up when changing out springs and didnt torque my strut bolts quite tight enough before my alignment so the alignment started to drift afterwards. They corrected it for me no charge.

Have had multiple service experiences with Tru Line. Very professional and honest. Recently had them replace the electronic parking brake on our Land Rover LR3. Took my Mercedes Benz CLS55 AMG for alignment, Doug came back to let me know that my car cannot be aligned because the RF wheel must have ran into some object that caused more damage. He was 100% accurate cause I ran into a wood in the freeway as a result it had a flat and a bent wheel. He gave me an estimate and get it fixed and aligned. Everyone out there was so professional and I will not hesitate a bit to go back for other services they may offer when needed and will recommend this shop to everyone.

Had my toytec 3 lift kit installed on my 2008 toyota FJ here and couldnt be happier with the results!! Doug and his staff are extremely professional and experienced at what they do. These guys went above and beyond when installing my kit. For example, I brought in a couple cans of undercoat spay and they had no problem laying down a nice coat making my undercarriage look brand new while they were installing my lift kit. Even better, my final bill was less than the estimate I was given when i dropped off my rig!! I wouldnt trust anywhere else to do as good of a job as these guys. THANKS DOUG!!!

Tru-Line did an excellent job installing Koni Shocks in my Miata. I ordered the shocks from the Tire Rack, and drop shipped them to Tru-Line. Tru-Line contacted me when the shocks arrived and set up an appointment to install them. I dropped off the car on the way to the office, and it was done when I got off work. They had to drill some holes so I could get access to the adjustment knobs. I was able to tweak the adjustments, and the car handles great.I recommend them for alignments and shock installations.

Highly recommended for anything to do with wheels, tires and suspensions.

What a change from the typical auto mechanic...these guys are kind and thorough. Not only that, but they seem to be really interested in communicating to their customers what was fixed, along with the how and the why. Totally shocking change from the typical mechanic who for whatever reasons seems to only speak in reluctant and regurgitated jargon. This place really knows their business and treats their customers with some respect and compassion.We had a brake issue that was difficult to explain and was never replicated by any mechanic. Twice our Seattle Toyota dealership looked at the brakes and said, oh, the pads are fine, no problem. We mentioned it to Tru-Line when we were getting them to work on our alignment and despite not being able to replicate the brake problems, they actually did a little investigating and found a lot of dirt and dust inside the drum brakes...after cleaning that out the brakes are back to normal.I wish I could take my car to them for everything!
