Excellent book store. Lots of interesting works about architecture and the world we live in. I purchased a signed copy. I will be back again. A treasure. Thank you.

I live nearby and never noticed this bookstore. Yesterday I saw the sign out on first street and decided to pop in. I am so glad I did! This store is an architect, engineer and building scientist book heaven. You’ve got drawing books, pens, pencils but also a curated collection of classic and cutting edge books on urban planning, graphical design, landscaping and using natural materials. Stop in and treat yourself or a loved one. Great bookstore. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking too!

Good specialized design store. Seems a bit architecture focused, would love to see more usability design books! (but thats the bias of a UX designer here) Storekeeper was very nice and was engaged in an intense conversation with another customer. I didnt mind though, it was kinda pleasant to just listen (pandemic makes talking very hard...). A great time to just experience the store as it is and support a local business; dont come here to bargain hunt with your phone -- if you want to do that just shop online lol. Will come again, thanks!

Oh my APA AIA gods! I thought PM disappeared into the fog of Bell Town redevelopment memories...stumbled upon his new location on Google while searching for another needle in the urban haystack. Will have to schedule a visit...now that its closer to King St Station...but now so far from Le Pichet.

I recently ordered some things from Peter Miller Books on-line-(the way we roll in 2020, unfortunately.) I cant adequately convey how pleased I am with the level of care, attention to detail, personalization, expediency, and value my orders have received. Please shop here and at your other favorite small businesses this holiday season!!!

A great old space filled with books and supplies for designers and architects. Its a little off the path, so you have to look for the store. Lots of interesting things to explore. Mr Miller is friendly and personable. Very glad I stopped by.

THE place for great notebooks, writing implements, and books for the design-inclined. One of my favorite spots to browse, contemplate massively awesome calendars in three languages, and find a new notebook to use.

Peter is one of a kind and so is his store. Every time I go in I find 20 books and 5 other random things im forced to decide between. His collection is so smartly curated. Plus he remembers everyone. Guaranteed that if you go in there once, hell remember you. Its obvious that he truly loves people and conversation and hes brilliant to talk to. You cant miss this if youre in Seattle.

An extremely rude owner. He yelled at me when I pulled my phone out. This owner wants to go back in time before the internet or Amazon existed. I have never been so mistreated before and can’t stress highly enough the alternative options to get an architectural book.

New location is a bit hard to find as one has to enter through the alley. They seem to always have a book I look for. Would be great if stationary / accessories collection is larger.

I buy art from art curators because they make sure I dont end up with something I wont love. Peter Miller is now my official book curator. Everything in his store he would want to own and have in his own place of business or home (depending on what your occupation). The books I purchased from him were pricey but worth every GD dime. Heis now my official go-to for solid books that will remain on my shelves for days vs months/years (meaning Ill use them more often). Trust this seller, he cares and hes supurb at what he offers and shares with his customers.

After years of continuous ritual to Peter Miller- I never have anything to say because it’s such a beautiful place to visit. The events and care for the design community, Peter’s ability to assist and mentor others, as well as feeding my pen obsession. Thank you. For contributing.

Hidden gem of the architecture world. This bookstore has everything you need. Unique books, special supplies, etc. Slightly hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. Just walk into the midblock parking lot and the door to the right is where you enter.

“I can’t let you use your phone inside our store”. If you want to meet a Luddite come to this store to see someone very afraid of technology and the internet. What makes this so comical is that Amazon is in their same city and they want to put the genie back in the bottle before the internet existed. I can certainly empathize with retail trying to make it, but treating customers like they are playing blackjack at a casino for using their phone is the wrong approach. Either match prices online or offer better customer service; trying to force customers to not use their phone just makes you look uninformed and petty.

If you want a pen with a great design, or a special set of cards, or a teapot from a celebrity pen, or a set of books about modern architecture I have never seen before, Peter Miller Books is a good choice. Although this slogan is so general, dont question its authenticity. None of Seattles most prestigious architectural design bookstores can be questioned. In addition to a large number of bibliographies, there are still a lot of designer works that have received the owners attention. The most rare thing is to disdain to associate with high and low, but more willing to become friends with everyday. All the architectural design books included are not only read for professionals, but those who love life can always find or this or that, the right Appetizing, interesting, and practical, such as how Monocle makes your home more cozy; or the art of pencil sharpening; niche travel guides; a few recipes; everyday practical gadgets ... ordinary, to see the true chapter in design.
