This magnificent warehouse is like Archie McPhee on steroids. They are going out of business and everything in the store is at least 50% off. Once these incredible rarities are gone, theyre gone. Last chance for full sized tiki gods and Star Wars tablecloths.

Sadly this place is going to close in June and it will be a great loss but right now almost everything there is 70% off so it is worth it to go in and help relieve them of their inventory. I got some fabulous fake fur that is 90 inch width for $6 a yard and i plan to make some kind of fabulous outfit from it.

This is the BEST locally owned store for decorations, party goods, costumes, craft projects, cards, gifts, wedding items, professional makeup, and expert help with all of the above between my home in Edmonds and Northgate!! ! Their Christmas and Halloween selections are extremely special because I see things here I havent seen anywhere else. The staff is super helpful as well as creative so they CAN help if you lack imagination or waited until the last minute for that all important costume item!!! This store has a lot of costumes YEAR ROUND unlike others who are only out for Halloween.Unisex bathrooms are clean, and I could spend hours wandering around creating ideas for projects or costumes!!

Thank you Display & Costume!I love this store and have shopped there for many years, but this past weekend I discovered they have Indian Costumes for sale - Ive posted some pics of what I found. Native Americans are not cartoon characters, monsters or clowns to be paraded about by white people to scare or amuse.I have written asking them to please stop cashing in on these offensive stereotypes. I will happily amend my review if theyre amenable.

Love this place, the staff is amazing. Every time Im there staff is offering how they can help, and then they let you shop. They dont tailgate you around, and if you need help someone is there.I drive almost an hour because this store is so amazing. They have helped me with window displays to learning boards.Halloween is one of the most trademark holidays, and wow they got cool over the top displays. A must see.

Ive always loved this place, not just because of their Halloween items but also for random reasons like birthdays, parties, etc. Only complaint is that the prices are (and have been pretty high). Im happy to support a rad, local business that Ive been going to ever since I was a little kid.

Was there today to purchase Halloween decorations. Ive been coming here since I was a kid. My experience today was horrible they hardly had any Halloween decorations and so many isles were empty. The real scary thing is walking around the empty isles with old decrepit displays of random holidays past... I did purchase a few things but when at the register there was a costumer pleading a case for a refund almost in tears. On my way out a older looking woman leaned over the counter and with a raspy voice sayed to me I wont take retruns I guess I got my scary fix. Will never go back

I was looking to find a local costume/props/effects store in the non-Halloween season and I was not disappointed! Great customer service, great prices, great inventory! I was so surprised that this place was a party/costume shop open year-round and they have a way better selection of things, and better pricing, than places like Party City. I even used an online coupon for my purchase to make things even cheaper (might just be seasonal though). Im not sure why I would ever need to go back to a Party City now! While browsing I had multiple helpful staff check in on me and answer questions and recommend some great items. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. Every aisle I went down I was amazed at the items they carried and was told that pretty much all items on display are for trying on and seeing what they have but they have tons of stock so when you purchase they will give you a brand new, packaged, version of the item you want! So smart! I will definitely be back again and would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area and in need of general costumes, make-up/effects, party supplies, wigs, and much more!

Display & Costume has been one of my favorite stores for as long as I can remember. They have the best selection of Halloween costumes & decor, hands down, their products are focused away from the hot thing of the year and on quality and traditional spooky stuff that wont become irrelevant when a trend passes. They also have amazing Christmas decorations, as well as all your other party needs YEAR ROUND! We always go here for cosplay and costuming needs, before any other store, and they almost always have what we need. The staff always seems to be having fun and are incredibly helpful and kind. They are worth the drive, regardless of where youre coming from and worth a visit. No matter what the occasion they probably have what you need for your party.

Year around this is a great place to get party and costuming supplies. They have everything from paper plates to plastic coins to balloons to professional stage make up to costuming fabric to sign making stuff.Additionally, they enforce the service dog laws making it a great place for PA training. The staff know not to interact with the pup but with the handler and willing to help with everything from dropping a bunch of bells to coming around the corner with a gorilla mask. Let them know at the counter that you are training.

Its been there for years (longer than the 7 years Ive lived in Seattle).The place is as big as a warehouse with everything from party supplies (paper plates, cups, banners, candles), party decorations (all the holidays and seasons including pay-by-yard decor material), and costumes. Also have some gift items.Open all year (not just Halloween).Reasonably priced compared to competitors. Well staffed during the busy season.Warning - all sales are final. You cannot do returns. In my experience this is common for costume/supply stores (its the same at Spirit).Its pretty far out there. Can be inconvenient to get to by car.If its too far out of your way try Champion on Elliott, just down the street from the Whole Foods. They also have a good selection of party supplies and costumes.

Been coming here for at least 20 years! I love this shop, i love the staff, and it never disappoints! The tradition lives on as well, as my daughter (almost 7) asks to go at least every Christmas and Halloween to see the displays. The anamatronic gargoyle that has been around since MY childhood that they display out front lets us know when its officially the most haunting time of the year. 🎃💀👻⚰️🧙

I was trying to decorate a room for a bridal shower and had no clue how to do it. Scott the Manager patiently explained my balloon options and how to construct everything. I called him multiple times and each time he was helpful and I felt like I was speaking with a friend who wanted me to succeed. If you are unsure how to decorate for a party, CALL this store! They have everything but unlike Party City, they want to help customers.

The entire team was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.I came in with a very specific request and they made my balloon and banner request seem effortless. I walked out of the store 30 min later with a freshly printed banner and ordered a balloon to he picked up for another day.The store is expansive and has decor for almost every holiday (even ground hog day!).I went here because of the great reviews and was blown away by the level of service.I will defiantly use them for my future party needs.

No matter what the occasion or what holiday you can find pretty much whatever you are looking for at any one of their locations. The staff are very helpful and friendly and I could easily get lost in the aisles 4 hours. Excellent wig selection as well!

As a costumer, I always have a lot of fun visiting Costume and Display. They are definitely more on the party end of things than the serious end of costuming in terms of quality, but that is a niche they fill well. I appreciate some of the specialty items they carry, such as unusual prints and textures of fabric, or facial hair prosthetics. Their wigs are nothing to write home about, but if you need a party wigs or a cheap base wig to use as material for a messy project, they have you covered. They also have decent selection of basic stage makeup, though most of it is Ben Nye. Mostly, they are a great resource for those fun side project where you don’t want to shell out for high quality options, but still want solid materials to work with. The four stars instead of five here is due to the fact that, given the lower quality of their stock, they are probably overcharging for some of the costuming items they sell, but in the end, it isn’t a huge complaint.

Excellent customer service and huge variety. It can sometimes be overwhelming if you go in without a game plan for Halloween costumes. We have to use the divide-and-conquer approach when going in with our kids. This place is laid out really well though and you can usually find what youre looking for quickly. If not, all of the employees are really helpful, friendly, and always come up with great & creative solutions if they dont have the exact thing were looking for.

I knew nothing about wigs, stage makeup, or French braiding before I came into this wondrous place and not only found the perfect wig and makeup, the gal who helped me literally started French braiding her own hair to show me how to do it, and that it would help my wig stay on. I wish I could remember her name! I will DEFINITELY be back.

There is an impossible amount of neat stuff here and whatever you need, youre gonna find it. If, somehow you dont - Ive had amazing luck asking any staff member. Theyll do some magic and youll leave with exactly what you needed, even if its not what you thought you wanted. The lighting section is extra magical.

Ive done one large balloon order there and was very happy with the quality and pricing. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Fun place to visit and shop, even if youre not preparing for a big party.

Every year my friends and I would all drive over to Display And Costume in Seattle just to gawk and wow over their Christmas displays. Today we went and we were VERY disappointed. Normally the front entrance in decked out with two or 3 trees and the area looks like a winter wonderland. Not any more. There use to be themed alcoves all over the store with a tree in each and decorations. And whoever decorated the trees had no idea what they were doing. It look like they spend 10 minutes throwing stuff on each tree and did not care. Not any more. It looks more like the store lost their decorators and creativity. It looked like a very disorganized attempt. VERY Disappointed. Worse than that, I was planning on buying a bunch of birds for my holiday tree this year (Cardinals, Blue Jays, Chickadees.) I found ONE small bird in the whole store and it was like $7. The aisle with the lights was plain and nothing to speak about, like it was in past years. In fact it looked like the aisle was ransacked. Normally I will spend close to $200 in Holiday decorations on these outings. I left the shop spending nothing. In conclusion we were all VERY disappointed with the store this year. We might as well have went shopping at Walmart. The only good thing was that the staff was still as helpful and polite and my friends and I had a HUGE laugh over the one orange Christmas tree. I hope next Christmas they will get new store decorators and bring back the different theme niches. Bring back the Christmas Wonderland that we are use to and love.

The best place for Halloween. You need to go early to get right sizes. I dont think they reorder costumes. They should. We have been going there for the last ten years. If you go September and early October, you should do ok
